Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend ActivePT enough, specifically Johnny and Gabbi. When I came to them, I could not even stand up straight. By the end of my PT journey, I feel like I am stronger and better equipped to prevent injury in my every day life and when working out. Not only do they provide the physical rehabilitation that is needed, but they get to know you as a person and adapt recommendations and scheduling to meet you where you are at. Fantastic experience: I began PT at Active PT with a painful hip and severely swollen arthritic knee that made it very difficult to bend down, do stairs, and painful just to walk. I finished therapy, able to return to my former activity level with no pain. and with a home exercise plan that will continue to build the strength I want to stay active as I age. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and Sam was amazing.

Fantastic experience: I had both my knees replaced in October. I started PT with Jarrod before my surgery to get some strength in them and understanding of exercises I would be doing after surgery. I started therapy one week after surgery and I had the best results one could get from the rehab plan he put me on. I owe my success to Active PT and to Jarrod!

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with the excellent care and guidance from Johnny for my plantar fasciitis. My pain was truely overwhelming for me and made it too difficult to do even very basic activities . He helped me to surpass all my goals in basic activities , my job, and back to walking at a steep incline , pickle ball , short runs, and long brisk walks again. The exercises were tailored just to me and were meaningful. He helped to take away the pain and regain my strength. Fantastic experience: Jake was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, his treatments were effective, and he seemed genuinely very caring. I was more discouraged with my pain than I'd like to admit. It was affecting me at work; plus, I thought it was going to make me miss a trip I'd had on my calendar for over a year. I felt a big improvement after my first visit. During appointments, Jake always explained exactly what he wanted to do and why - but he made sure I had input, too. He was also accessible between appointments when I had questions. I really appreciate all of his help. If you're in need of physical therapy, I couldn't recommend the staff at ActivePT highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I put off PT because I assumed that arthritis pain could not get better. I had hip pain for years. It got to a point that I could not walk for more than a half block or stand for more than 5 minutes. One of the side effects was back pain. Brooke and Schuller are fantastic, by my second appointment my hip pain went from a 10 to a 2 and by the 5th appointment my back pain had improved the same. Within 6 weeks my muscles are stronger and they definitely improved my life.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Jarrod Brian. I had lower back pain that made it difficult to play with my kids, workout the way I wanted to, and overall kept me from doing the things I loved. He was able to find what was causing it and develop a treatment plan that was easy to implement in my busy life. Within 6ish weeks I was able to have zero back pain and had the confidence to know that if my back hurts again I know what to do to prevent it and help treat it. Thanks for the fast results!

Fantastic experience: My overall experience has been amazing! The front desk staff are so welcoming and friendly. They are very helpful in rescheduling if needed, and reminding you of up coming appointments. My physical therapists, Ashley and Rebekah, have been wonderful at addressing my pain. They are great at listening and changing things up that match your needs. I originally went in for pain in my left shoulder and right hip from golf, but we had found out that there was much more to my body pain as it had started to spread to other parts. I ended up being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. The staff continued to help me through this process, and gave me great advice on how to maintain balance and a sensible lifestyle. I would highly recommend Active PT for multiple needs!

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I got the push we needed at ActivePT - Pine Island, with Dr. Drew Sathrum, to strengthen our bodies. The new facility is so clean and comfortable. He chose "dry needing" therapy for my arthritic knees and daily exercises for us individually. We are working on continuing them, plus he motivated us to get back on our excessive bike - now a daily habit. It has made a big difference as I have little to no knee pain now. Fantastic experience: 20 stars!! Life altering! Kaitlyn Fischer is amazing! I have Ostopenia, Fibromyalgia, Tendonitis. Had a severe neck spasm. My Dr. at Mayo referred me to Active PT. Kaitlyn listened, asked questions, and evaluated. She provided hands on treatment that immediately relieved my pain. She provided and taught me stretches and movements that helped decrease my pain and increased my neck mobility. I do these stretches 1st thing every morning. WOW!! 4 appts over 2 weeks = PAIN FREE!!! Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about ActivePT! I injured my knee at the gym and gave it a few weeks of rest, hoping that was all I would need for recovery. The swelling persisted and I was having difficulty with going up and down stairs. I was recommended by a friend to try ActivePT. Kaitlyn, Johnny, and Morgan have been outstanding to work with! After my first couple appointments, I already had very noticeable improvement in the pain and swelling. I feel supported by the team, motivated to keep at it, and excited for what ActivePT will help me achieve.

Positive experience: I like the therapy I have received. However, if you have booked multiple sessions, ask the therapist to provide you a clear a plan what you will do in your next sessions and why it is necessary.

Everything about this place is first class -- the facility itself, the desk and office staff, the patient portal, and, of course, the physical therapists. My treatment, progress, and improvement exceeded my expectations. Sam did my initial evaluation and then Johnny continued the weekly evaluations, treatments, and treatment plans. He always included me in the decision making process making sure I was always aware of the plan and objectives. Thanks to Johnny this was a truly first class experience. He provided me with a comprehensive continuing exercise plan to improve and maintain my progress.

Fantastic experience: Well, honestly, I think I could probably write a book. But I’ll try and keep this is Short as I can. So several years ago I had hip replacements done, which turned out to be pretty successful. However, I was having a lot of problems with my hip flexors. I also have a lot of arthritis in my knees. I was walking with a cane. Basically crawling up my flight of stairs, and really not doing much of anything except sitting around feeling sorry for myself. Then it was suggested to me that I contact my doctor for a referral for Active PT. She thought it was a great idea and thought well she’ll strengthen her leg enough so she can have knee surgery. I also have low back issues. And to top it off I’m 69 years old. Then I met a guy name Hunter.R at Active PT. He’s a knowledgeable guy! Who directed me with the right exercises to do for me. He used methods like cupping and dry needling, which I absolutely love. He listened to my every word. He’s kind and very respectful! I might add the full Active Pt team are amazing! Always positive and upbeat. You look forward to your sessions! They helped me be positive enough to join CrossFit. Fantastic experience: I just finished my third round of physical therapy with Active PT and they have me all fixed up again. I slipped on a hike and badly injured my right shoulder. I could barely raise my right arm when I first arrived. It took several uncomfortable months but once again, Ashley W. was very helpful and managed to get that shoulder usable again. It's been three weeks since my last appointment, and I have continued my pt at home. Now I'm past getting back to normal and I'm beginning to strengthen that shoulder. Soon I should be in a better spot that I was even before the injury. I told friends and family that physical therapy can and probably will be uncomfortable, and, at times, mildly painful…but it’s totally worth it! AND the only way you’re going to get any real results! You just have to keep up what you’ve been taught, and then keep progressing from there. It’s not really that difficult and it doesn’t really take much time out of the day. If you have something that is hurting and/or doesn’t work like it used to, they can probably help a lot, if you let them and are willing to do the work on your end. THANK YOU to Ashley and the friendly staff at Active PT! You have greatly improved the quality of my life again! :)

Fantastic experience: One word which I would use to describe my experience is "Grateful"! I really didn't have much movement if my left arm and shoulder. My journey of healing at Active PT required, an open mind, trust in my therapist, stress management, pushing myself through the pain and doing my part of the program. My shout out goes to, Kaitlyn Fischer, who established trust, which in turn let me approach this journey with an open mind to try different techniques she suggested. She helped me reach milestones that I wasn't sure I would see again. I highly recommend Kaitlyn and the Active PT team.

Fantastic experience: I love active PT so much more than the nearby World Famous Clinic. Here the staff are so much more hands on. Massage, chiropractic manipulation, dry needling (don’t like it but it so effective!). Great staff, too

My therapist always took the time to listen to my recovery updates and adjusted as we went to keep me on target for my end goals. I started out with intense daily pain and frustrated I couldn’t do activities important to myself personally & professionally; throughout my therapy experience I learned about my body mechanics, the balance of exercise, strengthening & stabilization of core functions that aided in a stronger body & knowledge base on how to keep myself strong & how to stay strong. Additionally and equally important, I felt like me & my care mattered to the staff there. Every single time I went, I was met with such a friendly, confident & encouraging team of staff…from reception to therapies along the way! I would recommend Active PT to anyone! Johnny, in particular, was extremely amazing to work with and was a huge support in my injury recovery & in me maintaining a strong stance towards healing!

I went for my wrist after a climbing tendon injury. Carly did her homework to help find the most effective treatments, and back on the climbing wall, and tennis court. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Active PT was exceptional. I was very unhappy with the progress a year after knee replacement so asked my doctor to refer me for some therapy. After a couple months with Gabby it is life changing how my knee has changed. She gave me the confidence to work the leg and make amazing progress. I walk with confidence again and no pain. Fantastic experience: I live in NYC and found this place off of a google search because my elbow was bothering me. I selected virtual visit and even though I am nowhere near Minnesota they still took my call and offered a virtual screening. More specifically, Carly Zebelian is the nicest and most thorough Doctor of Physical Therapy I have ever met. She was so kind to me on the phone after we laughed about me not being in Minnesota, haha! Very professional, knowledgeable and super nice. Fantastic experience: I used Active PT NE clinic after knee surgery. I also developed hip and back issues post surgery . I was very fortunate I was able to work with Annie Rhinesmith DPT!! She is absolutely wonderful and knows what she is doing. I will be having another knee replacement in the next few months and no doubt will request her again!! I would give her 10 stars if I could!! Another note: the entire staff including the front desk are also just as accommodating.

I was worried I might have to quit training or risk long term injury, but she was able to assess my knee pain and provide advice that will help me complete my training and marathon successfully :) I'm very grateful for her time and expertise.

Fantastic experience: Active PT was great to work with!! I worked with Mike and Johnny who were both professional and lighthearted. No one really likes PT but they made it a relaxed environment with exercises that were fun to do and helped me solve my pain problem.

Fantastic experience: Active Pt was a great experience for me with Johnny at AnyTime Fitness in Stewartville.( Note he has now moved to the North Clinic)I started with a bad right hip and could only do a minute or two on the cross trainer. When I graduated I could do over 30 minutes and have learned many different exercises to keep the hip working pain free.

Fantastic experience: Working with Mike and Johnny at the Active PT Preston branch is beyond words! They are kind, caring, empathetic, patient, motivating, reassuring! Always upbeat and wore a warm comforting smile! They are definitely marvelous young men! When I felt I was not progressing they firmly, although kindly pushed for improvement by trying new techniques, making me feel when I left I can do this never belittling or hurtful! These men should receive the Extra Mile Award! I would recommend anyone who needs PT to go work with them! Keep up the wonderful care Mike and Johnny.
