When I first came in, I was dealing with severe shoulder pain due to five tears. My mobility was extremely limited, and I couldn’t sleep because of the constant discomfort. Thanks to their expertise, dedication, and encouraging approach, I’ve regained nearly full strength and range of motion—even better than I was before the injury. Kaitlyn and Chelsea were not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also made every session enjoyable with their great communication and friendly personalities. Fantastic experience: 10 yrs ago I had surgery for a complete rotator cuff tear on my right shoulder. Surgery was a success, no problems until 6 months ago when I used a sledgehammer. Thankfully I didn’t require surgery again but my shoulder ached all the time, and would even wake me up during the night. It turns out I had an impingement. So I started PT. The staff is absolutely wonderful!! I went 3x a week for a month. Kaely is a miracle worker!! Within just a few appts there was marked improvement. Her knowledge and expertise are top notch!! Upon completion of my therapy she printed out the exercises and gave me resistance bands to use at home. My shoulder is back to normal and I’m so glad to be pain free again!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Advanced Physical Therapy Rochester Hills for two months. All I can say is it was a true miracle. They helped me to be able to move my right arm so I can perform daily things. I was a total wreck when I went there. I'm much better now but as they still not perfect yet. They have sent me home with exercises that will help me get perfect. Thank You to Chelsea my therapist and Kailey. They are true miracle workers and very easy to work with. Fantastic experience: It was my first time going to physical therapy and this was a wonderful experience. I went due to a knee injury. They had me walking on my knee almost immediately. They also made sure I was doing my exercises correctly, as well as explained how this was helping my knee and overall walking. I would definitely go back if I needed physical therapy again. Wonderful staff too.

Fantastic experience: After months of increasing neck pain, my doctor suggested physical therapy. I am thrilled I chose APT. The stretches and exercises started with limited repetitions, which were increased as I made progress. Lori was very professional, knowledgeable and caring. My limited and painful neck movements have improved to the point I have been waking up with no pain most mornings and less and less throughout each day. One of the most important things I learned was that my prior movements to lessen the pain were prolonging and increasing it. Weak muscles and posture were the major issues and working with Lori and doing my assigned home program have provided great results. A large number of people living with daily pain could improve their quality of life with physical therapy as long they commit themselves to the program. It is also obvious to me that continuing the daily home program will lead to many pain free days now and in the future. Talk to your doctor, get professional therapy and commit yourself to using what you are taught and have a better life for yourself and those around you. Thanks Lori and APT staff!

Fantastic experience: I was prescribed physical therapy by my primary care physician and given a list of over a dozen facilities to choose from. After a lot of online research I chose Advanced Physical Therapy. It turned out to be a good choice. The facility is clean and well equipped. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. After my therapist Lori identified the source of my condition, sounds like I was put on an exercise program that had me feeling better after the first week. At the end of the four weeks I was there, the pain I was experiencing was greatly reduced. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend Advanced Physical Therapy.

All their staff is very knowledgeable. They care about getting you physically functional and also teaching you how you can continue therapy on your own once your therapy program is over. Their supervision of each exercise while you are being treated there is closely monitored and gently guided for optimal results. Nadine and Nancy at registration are courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend the Rochester Hills Advanced Physical Therapy location. I had good outcomes, and will be a repeat patient should I need physical therapy again.

Fantastic experience: I went to Advanced Physical Therapy Rochester Hills location for several weeks of physical therapy recently. Everyone I worked with there was top notch, very knowledgeable, and always in a good mood even for the earliest appointments. The facility is always clean and, most importantly, they helped me work out my issue and relieve my pain.

Fantastic experience: This is the best place for therapy. I had a fusion done in my neck. The exercises they had me do got me back functioning and moving. Becca was one of the gals who worked on my neck and upper back. She always greeted you as soon as you walked in and made you feel welcome. Always concerned on how you were feeling for the day and I would come out in less pain and soreness than I went in with. Very professional place. She made therapy enjoyable when you dreaded going. Would highly recommend going there.

Fantastic experience: I experienced excellent improvement in flexibility, strength and mobility from 6 wks of PT after recent foot surgery. The therapists were very experienced, encouraging and professional. By doing the home exercise program together with their work at PT, I am happy with the results!

Positive experience: This was my first time going to PT and it was a great experience! Lori & Becca and the other therapists who filled in occasionally were all very qualified, knowledgeable, and friendly. I learned a lot and was pleasantly surprised that I started feeling better after only a couple sessions. I highly recommend this PT place! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because sometimes the therapists were so busy with multiple clients I was there more than an hour.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience and had my knee pain eliminated in only a month of visits, after despairing that I was on an irreversible downward spiral! The staff is friendly and professional and very attentive, and even though my case was mild I still felt that it was important to them and I saw every patient treated that way by every therapist there, so I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I came to APT with pain so unbearable I could barely walk, could not take care of most of my daily needs, and was very despairing of my outlook. The team at APT gave me the hope and encouragement I needed to commit to the program. They were supportive, caring, discrete, extremely knowledgeable, highly professional, and gentle at every stage. I have been able to resume nearly all my normal activities, some by using adaptations they taught me at APT to make it safe and painless. I enthusiastically recommend APT to anyone who needs physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I've been at APT a couple of times over the past two years (each time a series of therapy sessions with "homework" done in between sessions). In both instances, the staff have worked hard to understand the issues I was having and to craft a treatment plan to address the issues. The staff is pleasant, easy to get along with, and "fun" to work with - and it is work. They know the tricks to help me get back in shape, and they share their insights on what will and will not help. They are always there if I have a question (whether during or in between appointments). Their "team" approach works well, allowing multiple therapists to work with different patients on the patient's schedule. APT also knows how to work with different insurance carriers and what typically will or will not be covered. When they recognize the need, they work with the insurance and the patient to create the best possible outcome.

Fantastic experience: I was really happy with my APT experience. The staff is very knowledgeable. From the very first appointment, the discomfort I had been experiencing for a long time started to feel better almost immediately with the simple but effective exercises they gave me.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Advanced PT for about 3 weeks now and have always had a positive experience every time I go. I have worked with Melissa, Cora and Becca. They all make me feel welcome and never rushed! I actually look forward to having to go to PT.

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience with physical therapy. I was shocked how quickly I felt relief. The staff at the Macomb location are wonderful. Chris is very knowledgeable and took time to explain what and why he was doing certain things during our therapy sessions. He provided me simple exercises to do a home that do not require any equipment purchases. Kathy is very professional and flexible when scheduling appointments and upon arriving at the office. The environment is inviting as it is clean, fresh, friendly, bright and relaxing. I actually enjoyed the experience!

Negative experience: They charge lot. One person take care of three person at a time. You don't get one hour attention but still paying for one hour. Please ask up front all the fees. If they don't provide, go somewhere else. Because you will be charge for it and sendup paying. Sorry.
