HealthQuest Physical Therapy - Rochester Hills

Fantastic experience: Just completed sometime spent with HealthQuest-Troy (Rochester Rd) location.  My goal was to prevent having a third surgery on my knee replacement.   Tim and Manny helped identify my instability and developed a plan to strengthen the supporting muscle groups to support it. They were very knowledgeable and patient in educating me so I could understand and make the necessary changes I needed to improve my daily life.  I really appreciated all they had to offer.  It was a well-equipped friendly environment which made it more comfortable to expand my expectations.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this physical therapy office. As a 43-year-old mom living with fibro/ lupus, finding care that’s both knowledgeable and compassionate can be a challenge—but the team here truly exceeded my expectations. They were incredibly kind, always taking the time to listen and adjust treatments based on how I was feeling that day. Their expertise gave me confidence, and their thoughtful accommodations made every visit feel supportive and manageable. I’m so grateful to have found them!

Fantastic experience: All the therapists we had, Manny, Mathew, Mallory,Tim were all professional & caring. The front desk staff, Natalie and Lauren were responsive and friendly. My wife had two periods of rehab.

Fantastic experience: This review is an update to my review of March 2024. I wanted to let everyone know that everything I said almost a year ago is still true! My headaches are still gone except for a few exceptions which I can still eliminate with the exercises Angelo taught me! The healing which took place during my treatment has remained intact and the exercises still have the same effectiveness. Again, I wouldn't have believed it if it didn't happen to me!! I am so VERY thankful!!

Fantastic experience: I decided to use Health Quest based on insurance coverage and convenient location to help me with pain in my lower body. I really hit the physical therapy jackpot. The place is super clean and everyone was very friendly. They had appointments that fit my schedule and played a variety of music. What impressed me most was the excellent physical therapists Time and Manny. They spent time listening to my problems and helped explain why they were occurring and came up with a treatment plan for me. They were kind and patient with me even when I complained about my situation and expressed frustration. They helped me understand my limitations and find ways to modify my behavior to avoid future injuries. I enjoyed my time there and left with my pain under control. We laughed a lot. The support staff was great. It was like having my own personal trainer. I definitely recommend and would give more than 5 stars if there were more to give.

Fantastic experience: I went to HealthQuest PT in Troy for about a month and a half, knowing nothing what to expect. Shortly after I started I could tell that I would be through a great experience. Starting from the first call and their ability to accommodate me the following day for evaluation, to the kind and professional Front Desk welcoming and their flexibility to any schedule changes, to the therapists Tim and Emmanuel who worked hard on my problems, patiently explaining the situation and giving me hope for improvement which started just after a few sessions, to the nice and dedicated tech staff who got me carefully through the exercises, they were all amazing! He was very helpful in changing exercises when necessary and helping me achieve my goals. I mainly saw Manny, but I highly recommend Tim also. Fantastic experience: My experience with HQPT was thorough and successful. The initial appointment was more in depth than I expected and the subsequent visits were always challenging. I used a variety of equipment to stretch out and reduce the pain I had in my lower back and leg. Tim, Mani and the support staff watched my exercises and made sure that I did them properly. I now work out at home without any residual problems from my back. Thank you HQPT!

Fantastic experience: I was treated very well. I was always being observed while doing my PT exercises and given constructive advise when observed doing something wrong. When talking about how I feel I knew they were listening and taken seriously. Then I would be given help to work on problem. Also, I was periodically reevaluated and was shown my progress. This encouraged me to continue because I knew exercises were working. When my knees started to hurt they immediately readjusted exercises that were causing pain. (Pain in knees was caused by bone on bone that my doctor was treating.)

Fantastic experience: I came here after having a total hip replacement. From the therapists to the techs to the front office staff, everyone was kind and knowledgeable and made my recovery as easy as it could be. With their expertise, I made progress each week. I highly recommend Tim, Manny, and the crew and would return to this location, if I were to ever need their assistance again.

Fantastic experience: I began my physical therapy at the Health Quest Physical Therapy located in Troy, MI on the corner of Rochester Rd and Square Lake Rd. I had noticed this business and remembering that I wished it had been there when I needed help a few years ago. So I stopped by to take a look - I was greeted by a friendly and very professional young woman at the front desk. I scheduled an appointment to meet with a therapist later that day - Garret was very professional and we set up the schedule of 20 visits - when I left a schedule of my appointments was given to me. I split my sessions between 3 Phsyical Therapists, - Garret, Manny and Tim Ames who is the owner of this location - he and his staff have were the best!! There are several young college students working with the therapists who are seeking to graduate as Physical Therapists themselves! They were amazing!! I was rear-ended in my car and my right leg was affected. Due to treatment I have received, I recovered much of the feeling, especially in the right ankle and foot. The pain also has been lessened a great deal as well!!! I recommend this office and the Physical Therapists!!! Thank you! Carol Reschke

Fantastic experience: Tim, Manny and the whole HQ crew are quite simply the best. I’ve been a frequent flyer with them over the last couple of years for various knee ailments and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat me. They are kind, compassionate, tough when I needed them to be, occasionally hilarious, and always professional. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Being able to finally dance again at my nephew’s recent wedding was all the success I had hoped for.

Fantastic experience: I came here for plantar fasciitis and I couldn't have picked a better facility! There was always an appointment available at a time that worked for me. The therapists here were very helpful in teaching my exercises that focused on helping me get better as a whole. Each of the techs were also very attentive and kind to work with!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things regarding the professionalism, service, and treatment that I received from the staff at HealthQuest Therapy in Troy on Square Lake and Rochester. This is my second time round with them and it was the second time because I trusted them with my care and treatment. And I was not left disappointed. Tim provided me with accurate information regarding my diagnosis and my plan. Manny was so instrumental in my symptoms getting better. The addition of Garrett made it even better. Owen, Matthew, and Sara were phenomenal in assisting me with my exercises. Emily brought so much professionalism to her role that made it a joy to interact with her when I needed assistance with my appointments and billing. Fantastic experience: My experience at Health Quest Physical Therapy in Troy, Mi. Was exemplary. I was referred by my neighbor who was was very happy with the care she received. All the physical therapists and PT assistants were knowledgeable, professional, concerned and friendly. The front desk staff was helpful and on top of insurance issues also very friendly. If I need PT in the future (and I’m sure I will) due to possible knee surgery, I will definitely return to Health Quest. I have recently referred friends and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I was hit and run over by a car in November of 2022, I almost lost my leg and have had 13 surgeries since. I have been coming to Health Quest Physical Therapy since I was released from the hospital and they have been absolutely wonderful. They have helped me get back on my feet over the course of the last 18 months and I am so grateful for this team of people! Fantastic experience: This place knows how to get you back to normal. I came in for lower back pain that was not getting better after a month. I was thinking I may have something going on that was going to require a potential surgery. After two weeks of PT I was on the mend. After three weeks I was pain free. This is the place to go for PT as they diagnose expertly and their team with Garrett and Manny is the best

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about HealthQuest of Troy. Rather suddenly, my right rotator cuff locked up and I was almost totally limited in my mobility. My doctor took x-rays and sent me to HealthQuest. Manny assessed my situation and developed a series of exercises which in the staff walked me through. Each visit resulted in an increased mobility, and after my 12 visits I had full mobility back and most of my strength. Using the exercises they showed me I was able to regain my full strength at home. Everyone including the receptionist/scheduler was professional, and highly competent. I will definitely go back to healthQuest if I ever need physical therapy again.

Fantastic experience: I had major nerve pain in my head, neck, arm and upper back. I came into to see Scott at American Headache Institute. He did a great job. In the process we discovered that my dizziness was attributed to vertigo. I was soo amazed in one session he got rid of my vertigo that I have had for 10 years on and off. So now I have no nerve pain headaches AND no vertigo!! I definitely recommend this Institute. Thanks Scott

Fantastic experience: After 2 months of significant pain from a right ankle injury that wouldn't go away and examinations by two doctors, a round of physical therapy has significantly helped. Not just any physical therapy, but treatment by therapist Tim Ames. Tim has been my go to guy for four instances of sports and/or accidental injuries or surgery rehab during the past 25 years. He is professional, intelligent, and kind. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of ankle, knee and/or shoulder physical therapy. I've tried others before him, but in my humble opinion he's the best. I'm an actual patient and did not get paid for the review. However, I did get a free water bottle, like everyone else who completes a round of PT at Health Quest.

Fantastic experience: Instead of providing the basics about the wonderful and caring nature of the staff, I will highlight what I believe separate HealthQuest from other Physical Therapy providers. 1) The staff bring comfort to patients and an undeniably difficult time, 2) The staff want patients to excel in their personal goals, whether it is a return to sports or daily comfort in regular activity, 3) The flexibility and care that the scheduling staff approach helping patients balance life's challenges with the need to dedicate time to recovery, 4) The way that ALL the staff help patients understand critical information and learn from their experience 5) They bring comfort in a patients success in the clinic and away. It wouldn't be a great review without bragging about the Techs. They are there to push and encourage and they are ALL amazing at working with the individual patients needs 0 even when some patients can be difficult. I am confident in the ability and care of HealthQuest - I sent my 10 year old daughter there when she needed treatment. I am back on the ice and I owe it all to the team at Healthquest.

Fantastic experience: I recently have been discharged from HealthQuest Physical Therapy- Rochester Hills. I never would have thought that I would leave HealthQuest feeling extremely confident about my physical abilities. My PTA, Mike Stewart, has gone further than any expectation I had two months ago when I started physical therapy. Mike has been extremely supportive, honest, and caring about my physical limitations. He has taught me how to move forward in a positive matter, and has given me several resources to turn to for help. I wouldn’t choose another PTA to help me through my challenges physically. Mike also taught me to listen to my body and allow myself to heal, and by doing so I finished therapy feeling confident in my day-to-day activities. Every visit I am guided by my tech, Calvin, who has made my experience at HQ one that was extremely enjoyable. If there was ever any confusion that I had about an exercise, Calvin was right there to assist. He always would be so kind and considerate of my physical limitations and was very patient with me. Also, I would just like to mention that this facility is one of the most welcoming places I’ve ever stepped foot in. Oriana and Erna are always bright faces when I walk through the front door, and they answer all of my (many) questions in a professional manner. The staff at this location feels like a huge family, and I would not have wanted to do physical therapy anywhere else. I will never forget my physical achievements that I have made, lovely staff members that I have been able to work with, and the amazing support system that HealthQuest Rochester Hills offers.

Fantastic experience: After a rough year of debilitating back issues and reconstructive surgery on a foot, my body was weak, painful, lacking flexibility and stamina. The treatments that I received under the care of my therapist, Kate, were so helpful in allowing me to regain my life, that I continued my sessions after insurance ran out. I'm now progressively get stronger and more able to take back my life. I will be forever grateful to the family of therapists at the HealthQuest in Rochester Hills!!

Fantastic experience: After fracturing my knee cap, I had 6 weeks of physical therapy at this HQPT clinic to get me back to where I was. Not only am I back where I was, I am training to run a 5k race. The professionalism and family atmosphere created by everyone there made the experience very special. Therapists Tim, Kristen, Mike, and Kate provided world class care and educated me every step of the way. They, along with the techs and front office staff, were nothing short of amazing. One fellow patient said to me on her last day of therapy, "I'm really going to miss it here. These people feel like family!" Thank you, HealthQuest!!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastice therapy....got me up and moving in record time. Kudos to Michael and Katy for putting me through my paces but at the same time being gentle and caring. I've been to other therapy companies but this is by far the best. I would recommend highly!!!

Fantastic experience: This group of professionals came highly recommended, and I can see why! Wonderful service, one-on-one assistance during all exercises, the place is immaculately clean,and everyone is very friendly. They start you off slow and you can tell very quickly that they are really getting to the problem area (my low back in this case). There is heating before the stretching, then staff-supervised exercises (specific for your needs), and then you get one-on-one time with one of the Physical Therapists as they work on stretching and/or traction. I feel very comfortable even though I'm no longer in the best of shape, no judgement was perceived, and love the staff! I find it worth the long drive that I make twice weekly--and I happily wave at a million other physical therapy offices between Ferndale and Rochester. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My husband worked with Tim 5 years ago for a knee injury and gave raving reviews about him. Then when my reoccurring knee injury spurred up again, it was an obvious choice who I would see for my PT. It didn’t matter how far of a drive, or how long we had to wait to be seen by him, we would not go to anyone else - thankfully he was very close and was able to see us immediately. Within the first few minutes of meeting Tim I understood what all the hype was about. He is a phenomenal therapist and a genuinely nice person. He is funny and had more confidence in me than I had in myself. In short, he made being injured fun - I always looked forward to going to PT. I was actually sad to have graduated lol. He has taught me lifelong skills to hopefully keep my injury at bay, but should it flare up again, I’ll be excited to go back. The entire HealthQuest staff is extremely friendly and helpful but I have to give a shout out to Collin. He was my absolute favorite tech to work with! I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for quality care, and I hope you are so lucky to get Tim and Collin as your providers.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the Barclay Cir Health Quest Physical Therapy. I mainly worked with Physical Therapist Tim, and PT Tech Collin for my knee pain matter. Tim and Collin are very professional. Initially Tim took the time to do a thorough assessment and develop a therapy plan. In each visit, Tim made sure that he had time for me and all of my questions were answered. I left each session without confusion, and understood the process and goals. I never felt confused or rushed. Moreover, he always answered my emails and phone calls if I had a question. The entire staff made sure that all exercises were done with proper biomechanics. This provided me with the knowledge to exercise in the future to be aware of my form to limit risk of future pain or injury. The overall staff including front desk staff, and other PTs and Techs were very friendly, pleasant, welcoming, and motivating. It is important to note that you have to do your part and follow the therapy program that they recommend – the exercise program outside the clinic. I followed their program and the results were improved strength and able to return to activities that I was doing prior to the condition. Overall, it was a great experience working with Tim and Collin at this Health Quest Physical Therapy location.

Fantastic experience: I received outstanding personalized care from this very friendly and highly skilled team of professionals. I was treated for a hip condition which caused me pain and limitation of movement for over a year and also a neck condition, which caused me pain and was increasingly limiting my movement and my activities over the last 6 years. After 6 weeks of therapy for each, I gained increased mobility and no longer experience the pain that I had for so many years. I am excited to know that I can now look forward to doing more activities as I get older instead of less. I would highly recommend using physical therapy first as an alternative to surgery or chronic pain management treatment options.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and facility. My therapist, Michael was great. He listened to my concerns and we worked to achieve my goals. Everyone was very friendly and i actually enjoyed going to therapy. I recommend rhis Rochester location and would go there again if i ever need therapy. Thanks to all of you i have increased range of motion and less pain.
