Positive experience: I enjoy coming here for adjustments and therapy, but honestly the massage therapists should be considerate of how LOUD they speak to each other and patients. It makes it extremely hard to relax after a long day at work.

Fantastic experience: Recently got into a car accident, my shoulder got tweaked from the seat belt. And have been dealing with sciatica pain from my hip down my leg. Plus on going lower back issues from walking on cement floors for 30 years. I checked out a chiropractic chain, with zero results. Honestly thought I just wasted my money going there. My co worker told me about this place, that they really helped her plus they accept our insurance. Redefine Wellness is not just another chiropractic office, the doctor took x rays and actually sat with me and together explained what was happening and where the pain is generating from. I did not feel like just another number. I felt genuinely cared for. The doctor adjusted me, then using a decompression table adjusted and stretched out the effected areas. After that, to top off my first visit, received a massage. After one visit I felt better I have in a long time, but I know it's gonna take some time. I feel Redefine Wellness can get me where I want to be, which is fully healed. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

The doctors have always given me the best care and have made sure I receive the services I need to best treat my scoliosis. Always listen to questions and offer suggestions. Fantastic experience: I came to Dr. Girgenti after I was rear-ended in my car at a stoplight. I was in a lot of pain, and could hardly function at work. He and his staff helped me with physical therapy and adjustments--and totally eliminated my pain and dysfunction. I was so happy! Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Girgenti in November for neck and lower back pain. The neck pain was new to me, however, my lower back pain has been chronic for the last 35 years due to an injury when I was younger. I have seen other chiropractors and physical therapists and have had multiple spinal injections. I was really just hoping for relief for my neck pain. After visiting for about 1 month I was relieved of my neck pain. After 3 months now, I am experiencing the most lower back pain relief I have had in years. I am so grateful for the professionalism and outstanding staff of Girgenti Chiropractic. If you are a doubter, I would highly recommend giving them an opportunity.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Girgenti and his staff are some of the greatest professionals anyone could hope for during your time in need of pain relief. I had never been to a chiropractor before going to see Dr. Girgenti and to be honest I was uneasy about going. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Girgenti about 2 months ago because he came highly recommended and referred from my neurologist. I have degenerative disk disease (cervical and lumbar), spinal stenosis, chronic migraines, and had a double cervical fusion during my 5th back surgery. Needless to say I was hesitant as I have had bad experiences with chiropractors in the past. That is NOT the case with Dr. Girgenti. I have experienced the most pain relief in cervical and lumbar areas while in his care and he has been able to work with the sensitive nature of my spine and nerves!! highly recommend seeing Dr. Girgenti if you have severe spine and back pain.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to get your body functioning back to its best health you’ve come to the right place. Dr. Aaron Sheley does an excellent job of looking over the whole body before starting his adjustments. His adjusting technique is top notch, able to get even the hardest spots to crack. Anna has great deep pressure for massage. The office staff all have a friendly and personable attitude. Lots of different options to fix one’s body: orthopedics insoles, adjustments, body strength reading to target weak muscles, massage, & electric shock therapy.

Negative experience: This place is illegally billing services that we’re not performing. Illinois health and family services should fully investigate this facility for m, not following the obligation to inform clients of services and costs, etc. If anyone is going to this facility and has similar expirence I highly suggest you put a claim through division of health care facilities and programs. Be sure to check all billing line items for services that are not rendered for being billed to your insurance plans. Many people at this place should lose there licenses for practice.

Fantastic experience: My experience with MedPlus has been amazing. I heard from them because they offered free massages at the school I work in and offered me a free massage in the facility. The facility is comfortable and inviting. Every member of the staff is welcoming and kind. I've felt very cared for. I love that they provide holistic services with professionals in different areas, from chiropractors, to physical therapists, to massage therapists. They all work as a team to bring the most complete treatment. During the first visit they made a very thorough assessment and discovered things I suspected, but previous chiropractors had failed to notice. That's why I love it there. They listen to you and make sure to have all the facts before proceeding. They also take the time to explain. I highly recommend their services. After coming here, I've felt pain relief that I didn't feel while receiving therapy from other providers. Go check them out!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! I came in with constant lower back pain and severe atypical plantar fasciitis from years of gymnastics and cheerleading. I have been going to them for about two months and I’ve already seen huge improvements. I no longer have back pain daily and the orthotics they prescribed help my feet tremendously. I used to have pain in my feet after standing for 30 min - 1 hour and now I rarely have pain. I seriously cannot thank them enough. Everyone is so kind and friendly and I look forward to my appointments. Can not recommend them enough!!

Fantastic experience: They are wonderful to work with. I fell over the winter which resulted in multiple injuries, the most serious was a back injury and a major injury with multiple tears to my shoulder. I originally went to Med Plus for my back and stayed with them for the shoulder injury. I recently had surgery and because of their wonderful care before and after surgery my pain levels are low. The range of motion is progressing quickly. Every level of care in this office is amazing. The doctors are there to make sure you are on track to a quick recovery. The physical therapy department is second to none. The therapy department is attentive to your pain levels and make sure that you feel better when you leave. I would highly recommend this facility, they work together to make sure your recovery is complete.

Fantastic experience: My experience at MedPlus has been life changing. I have struggled with back pain on and off for years. From the moment I entered the clinic, I was greeted by the amazing office staff. Drs. Girgenti, Sheley, and Jimenez, along with the therapy department staff, have worked to help me regain range of motion and reach zero pain. I also inquired about acupuncture for my anxiety. Dr. Jimenez has used his knowledge and expertise with acupuncture to help lower my anxiety significantly. I was taking a significant amount of prescription medication for my anxiety with very little relief. After just one acupuncture treatment I cut my daily medication by 50% and today, less than two months later, only take a small dose as needed. I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to have my life back with a bright outlook. This clinic knows everyone by name and cares for each patient like family. Fantastic experience: I have only good things to say about the team at MedPlus. I started going to MedPlus after they gave complimentary massages to the staff at my school. I had several issues related to my neck and lower back. The chiropractic team did diagnostic work so they were able to pinpoint my treatment needs and to begin working on them immediately. On each visit, I am pleased to receive a spinal adjustment, massage therapy, stretching/strengthening exercises. The massage therapists do an amazing job. At periodic times, I receive either ultrasound or Xray diagnostics to check my progress. The team is VERY concerned about seeing improvement and about providing strategic treatment tailored for me. MedPlus is very receptive to meeting my scheduling needs.

Fantastic experience: I'm 30 years old and I've had back pain since I was 16. Having some degree of pain had become just a part of every day Life for me; only seeking aid when it hurt severely. I had one of those times that it hurt more than normal recently, so I decided to come into this office to see what bit of relief I could find, if even for a short while. For the first time in 14 years I have actually experienced what it's like to be without back pain throughout an entire day! They do the chiropractic adjustments as you would expect but then they couple it with therapy which is something I hadn't even been offered before.
