Fantastic experience: My Mother-in-Law has been at Oak Ridge for a couple of weeks now. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the facility and the AMAZING staff!

Negative experience: Grandparent went here and the nurses were neglectful and the facility was run down.

Negative experience: The favorite response to any guestion is I don't know Worst food ever Some staff very uncaring No one seems to be in charge 8pm on a Saturday night and renovation work still going on, drills, sanders pounding etc

Negative experience: Since I was sent here last night from Kaiser Roseville, I have yet to get my scheduled pain meds on time. I can confidently say that This. Is. The. Worst. Nursing. Staff. In. Roseville when it comes to patient care. This time around, I've been waiting FOR MY SCHEDULED MEDICATION since 1030am. It is now 1215. The ONLY reason I was able to get ahold of a nurse is by calling the front desk. And don't get me started on the patients.

Negative experience: My experience has been horrible the nurses are very rude they call me 3- times a day they are the ones getting paid they should do their jobs I am there every day to see my husband and I have to help with everything it’s very sad

Negative experience: If your loved one is placed here and on a special diet make sure you know what is being given to them. My mom was supposed to be on a diabetic diet and I got a phone call saying her blood sugar was over 500. Mom said they gave her juice which they were told no juice. They wanted to keep her longer to monitor and after that blood sugar reading she was again given juice the next morning and thank God she didn’t drink it. Her release papers say regular diet and I had talked to the so called dietitian. I will say the PT was great. But I couldn’t believe they put diapers on them and change it when it’s soaked. How sanitary is that when she uses a porta potty at home. I pray she never goes back.

Fantastic experience: My mother was sent here from Sutter, back in Oct. However, i never took the time to write a post. When I first came I thought it was old & outdated & not very good. However, the staff was very good, especially, the PT staff. After leaving to be placed for private home setting she said she wanted to go back, because she liked the staff & they kept her on schedule for rehabilitation. My brother got released 5/8 from Sutter after a seizure. I requested he be sent here because of our mother's rating of the facility. My brother has only been there a day & I will be going tomorrow & will update this post.

Positive experience: Parent sent here from Kaiser hospital. We heard that this place was better than others - and my first impression was positive regarding cleanliness and staff engagement and responsiveness. But wrapping up a first visit, we are sitting here over 30 minutes waiting for assistance transferring from wheelchair to bed. I will update this review as I do additional visits and observe more. FYI I wouldn’t recommend reading any reviews that are more than a few months old about any facility right now. Too much is changing in real time to be accurate.

Negative experience: My Dad was sent to Oakridge SNF directly from Kaiser hospital in Roseville. He had a fall and broke his arm up by his shoulder socket. He became dependent on the help of the staff at Oakridge. I flew down to visit him. On the first day of my visit I recognized that he had a UTI and brought it to the attention of the nursing staff. It took the facility approximately 9 days to have him diagnosed and treated. During one of the days when I was visiting my Dad he said that a nurse assistant smacked him in the mouth because he was being loud. I also reported that. I'm not going to add emotions into this review. Just facts. My Father was mistreated at Oakridge SNF in Roseville California. He suffered because of their poor quality of care. Kathy Baird

Positive experience: Typical care facility with some great staff, but the patient to staff ratio is too high to allow for proper patient care.

Positive experience: I have nothing but good reviews for the care the staff evtended to me during my stay. Alex, Daniel, Cammie. All the nurses were professional and caring! PT and OT were excellent! Thank you all!!

Negative experience: Do not recommend

Negative experience: This is truly not the place to put anyone you love or like. Nothing ever gets repaired. Clothes frequently get ruined. Half of the residents have explosive diarrhea (c.diff) because of neglect. Also the food is worse than regular hospital food.

Fantastic experience: We currently have a relative residing at this facility and are extremely happy with everything. From the administration on down, this facility is highly professional and very caring to all of its residents. The facility is always clean and the food being served is very well prepared. This is one of the best run facilities we have ever seen. We highly recommend it if a loved one can no longer live independently. .

Fantastic experience: My Mom has been at Oakridge healthcare center for 3 1/2 years and they have always taken very good care of her. Because they are a smaller facility, each resident gets more attention. They have made sure to keep me updated. They have called me when she has needed things. Mom is very happy there. They have acted quickly when necessary. They have given additional therapy when necessary. They feed her well. The administrators Jason and Michael are easy to interact with and the nurse Jessica is exceptional!

Negative experience: My experience was very short. Micheal and Emily did not do what was best for my Alzheimer mom. I am deeply disappointed.

Positive experience: When my husband had his medical accident that required him to go through months of rehabilitation someone told me something I found very sad but true. They said "You will never find a "perfect" skilled nursing facility. They all have their ups and downs. So find one that has more ups than downs." He stayed in a total of 5 places from the ICU to several rehabilitation centers. I have to say that Oakridge was one of the better places for him. He was somewhat mobile and able to do some things for himself so maybe that made a difference. He stayed there for about a month before being released to the final step in his inpatient rehabilitation journey. I liked most of the staff and found them willing to listen to my concerns. Some of the other reviews are right where the night staff doesn't seem to be as compassionate as the day shift but overall it worked well. The Physical Therapy in this place is great! My husband made great strides while staying here and I have to say it was due to the excellent staff in their therapy department. You could tell they really wanted him to improve and encouraged that as well. I would have to say if your loved one needs a place to go, this is one of the better ones. Just be sure your concerns are heard. If you have an issue be sure to voice it and find out WHO needs to hear your concern to get it handled. I understand that CNA's are overworked and I have to say I wouldn't be able to handle the hours they work but overall they do care for the people in their care. We recently went back for a visit so the staff could see how wells he's done since his release and it was so nice to see the staff again.

Negative experience: Short staffed. The food is less to desired. I watched dinner being served in the dining room and noticed the staff taking their trays away before some had even taken a bite. One gentleman was yelling that he hadn't eaten yet and we was ignored. The night shift does not do their job. My dear friend's bedding and clothes were soaked because not one person came to her room all night even when her light was on.

Negative experience: Some of the night nurses and nurses' assistants are not good. Left essentially unsupervised and on their own during their graveyard shifts, they do not treat the patients well, nor are they as responsive as they should be. Attention must be paid to this.

Negative experience: This is an unorganized place. It's understaff too. They only give 3 meals a day. If your love one misses a meal, they get a snack. A meal is more nutrious then a snack.They don't keep a good eye on there patients. Since my love one went to this place he went down hill. You tell the staff one thing they ignore it. I am in a emotional state because of the lack of care they have. Please do your research before you put your love one here.
