Fantastic experience: I had a good stay. And the staff was wonderful to me, especially when I was in a dark place(mentally & emotionaly). I made some friends and enjoyed activities. I would recommend this place.

Positive experience: Windsor house has wonderful staff Response can be a little slow at times, but they are thorough. I would recommend them when you need a little higher level of care then assisted living is willing to do. Meals are about the same.As the assisted living, I came from heavy on the carbs and not very imaginative.

Positive experience: The staff is great! but the food needs some work. The biscuits n' gravy meatballs, and pot roast are all really good! The PT and OT staff are kind, very thorough, and very helpful. Also SSD, BOA, and maintenance director are really nice and helpful.

Negative experience: This is the worst place to be! The food is awful, often burnt or under cooked (no quality control; just profits). And it extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night ( staff and residents). Not 100% employee owned as advertised, but a profit sucking corporation. And the laundry keeps losing my clothing and packages have gone missing after delivery.

Positive experience: I have enjoyed myself here. David was a good therapist & his help, & Emily in OT, all have been good. All the staff have been excellent & friendly. Will definitely recommend this facility & return again. From Warren Howard

Negative experience: Recently brought a gentleman to this facility And was very surprised by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by one of their employees. The lady forced herself between me and the patient and proceeded to abscond with him. I informed her that it was my wheelchair that the patient was in and I would like to operate my own wheelchair to which she abruptly said “no” and proceeded to tell me that she needed to do some of her own duties before I could take my chair with me. I informed her that I was merely transport and I was short on time and did not have time to run around the facility with her to, she attempted to proceed anyway. There are further considerations to mention regarding liability in the event of incident. The longer the patient is in my equipment likelihood I could be held liable for any incident. As a courtesy, I try and accommodate them as much as I can, but if I am short on time, they need to stop trying to intimidate me into accommodating their schedule. It would be different if they had requested my services and were paying for them, but they are not my customer.

Fantastic experience: My stay at Windsor has been phenomenal! I can't imagine anything like it. I have at least two more surgeries coming up and guess where I'll be? Right ear in the arms of people who care

Negative experience: Most of the staff is very friendly but food is loosythey post menu but serve totally different food and had to starve myself one day my breakfast was a toasted english muffin and a slice of toast bread also they kept prolonging my visit

Fantastic experience: I have been working in the center as a contracted employee for about five years and I love how it feels like home. I enjoy coming to work here as we are all a little family, when one is down or needs help we all pitch in to help. I love being able to make a difference in people's lives and the culture of our center allows me to do just that. I would highly recommend working here to others.

Positive experience: I'm a contracted CNA and have worked at salem Windsor about a year on and off now. This facility is one of the good ones, nurse Eli deserves a shoutout for example, very dedicated and hard worker as many other employees there. I'll keep going back for sure.

Fantastic experience: I have worked at Windsor for almost 13 years now, and I can honestly say this is one of the best nursing facilities I've worked in. The staff are helpful, caring, respectful and very driven to provide the best of care for our residents. I am very proud to be a part of this team.

Fantastic experience: As a traveling DNS I am very impressed with the culture at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation. All of the staff works together to care for all the residents. I was welcomed as a floating DNS and everyone was eager to answer my questions and make me feel at home. The residents are well cared for and the staff is dedicated to making everyone comfortable and at ease in their stay here. Bravo

Fantastic experience: I have been working in this facility for almost 2 years as a contract COTA/DOR. I have really enjoyed working here, all the staff and management are very friendly and care for one another. The residents are well cared for and got out of the way to do things for them.

Fantastic experience: I have been a guest of Windsor Rehab and I love this place. All the staff are kind, helpful, attentive and have a positive and upbeat attitude. The Nursing staff are very knowledgeable. They answer your questions at a level that you understand the answer.fThey do there best in making sure your medical needs are address, as fast as possible. The CNA are awesome, and much running they do the should wear roller skates. I get tried just watching them go back and forth. They are gentle and have big hearts. I thinks that is what make them awesome. The food here, at least 95%, taste like a home cooked meal. There are times that the menu get change and for me it was the item I really wanted. What I liked the most is that you let them know you likes and dislike they take that it to consideration. So if you don't like chocolate ice cream they will get you strawberry ice cream. Negative experience: Worst place ever. Don't ever send your elderly parent there. My parent was there for rehab and in her 21 day stay bed sheets were changed only 3 times. She had to ask to be bathed after being there like 6 days. When she asked for pain meds she wasnt given any for hours. Never got an ice pack after she would ask for one for her swollen knee. We frecuently had to call them to attend to her. Her poop would be in her camode for hours. They did not check in on her for hours at a time and she could here the staff members in the hallway laughing and talking out loud. Horrible place. Never will my mother go there again. Horribke plavce. Most of the staff was not courteous to her.

Fantastic experience: I have worked for this company for a few months now, hands down it is by far the best company I've had the pleasure of working for! The staff is team oriented and very efficient with the work they do here. The residents are all so kind and enjoyable to be around. With good attitudes, it spreads positivity throughout the building and makes this job alot more then "just a job". I believe it is with all the hard working staff, that this place truly feels like a home for the residents. I love this job, this company and the people that come with it!

Fantastic experience: I have been living at Windsor for about 4 1/2 years and in the last year there has been quite a turn around. We have new management that put the residents first. All of the staff are very caring. It has become more like a family setting and I am getting involved more.

Fantastic experience: I was here for a month after I had CABG surgery. It's an older facility but is kept clean and functional. All the staff that worked with me was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food wasn't fancy, but was edible and I was brought food whenever I wanted/needed it. I did feel very cared for & safe there. Thank you Windsor for all you did to get me back on my feet.

Negative experience: WOULD RATHER DIE THEN SEND MY FATHER BACK HERE!! nothing was done for him took over an hour for him to be taken to the bathroom! His legs looked 10 times worse then when he went in for his injury! It was next to impossible to get someone on the phone for information as well!! Ended up bringing him home early to get him the care he actually needs!

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Windsor Health and Rehab!!! As a traveling nurse I have had the pleasure of participating on the team at Windsor for the last 3 months. I am so impressed with the care and the skill the staff show their patients-it feels like a big family! All of the departments work together to get the job done. Thanks Windsor for making me feel so welcome!

Positive experience: From administration, to nursing to direct care professionals, the care and comfort toward my friend has been excellent. The food has been prepared well and tasty! The facility is older but is kept clean and homey and does not have any odors. I am so thankful and grateful for all of the kindness and care given.

Fantastic experience: I was a therapist there on-call and It’s a clean good place to receive care but the therapy dept is contracted by Genesis rehabilitation which has unreasonable production standards—which if I had been a 13 week contract therapist they would have not kept me to renew the contract because I would not have been able to keep up with their production standards. They (Genesis not Windsor) expect all time between patients, and documentation time to be done in unrealistic/unfair way and this causes distress. At the end of the day at the other (genesis) building in independence, Oregon I was told to report to my advisor my productivity level and why I was not making the productivity standard if I had fallen short that day (hahahahaha)! Up until this point I had never experienced this lol! Shortly quit working for Genesis after this experience within two weeks. So if you sense a lot of stress from the therapist’s working there you know why.

Negative experience: Dark/ depressing... staff short and impatient with residence. Food was awful.. what a cold harsh place to put a loved one.

Positive experience: Very nice employees a good place

Negative experience: Resident neglected by some of the employees, HIPPA infractions, the office holders will lie and have each others back, ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR $$$$....BE WARNED STAY AWAY

Negative experience: WORST PLACE...STAY AWAY. Family member in there. NOTHING was done for her. She was on toilet over hour crying and nobody came...Left alone most of day in room or taken to dining room and left. Help is a joke. Asked who nurse or CNA was .answer was they did not know. I gave her showers myself and changed her bed. FOOD IS GROSS. Other family's upset about their care. Therapy... a joke... Therapy lady said it's the worst place she has been in. She was left to get to bathroom herself...other lady had 100 fever ...they never came back .. CLOSE THEM DOWN

Negative experience: The food they serve sucks they give you sandwiches the bread is so dry if your on a special diet forget about that you eat what they have or go without breakfast pancakes are like the frozen ones you get from winco foods not fresh they don't pay attention to your likes and dislikes but the therapy is top notch the staff is frindly but could work harder at getting to the call lights better nurses try to pass their duties off to the next shift some times

Negative experience: Windsor ( care) facility is like sending A loved one to eternal, Bad food, nurse care is worse than dog food, and the nurses NEVER answered the light or even asked if all was ok...DON'T IF YOU CARE

Negative experience: Windsor is toward the bottom of the list I'd recommend. The "management" was less than clear, they are expensive, understaffed and in some cases pretty uncaring. The facility in general is depressing and dismal - Even the "art" on the walls, which should be at least interesting, and hopefully cheerful or thoughtful for the residents, was picked by "interior designers" during the last "renovation" of the facility - cubist or other "modern art" with no realistic, humorous, interesting, creative, stimulating content - just boring, dark, "modern art" and displayed high on the walls to where anyone in a wheelchair or otherwise less than normal upright height wouldn't even be able to see it! The food is probably basically nutritious (?) but is barely edible. My loved one had to be in this facility for a month because of specific medical requirements they were "qualified" to provide, but she didn't spend one more day here than necessary.

Negative experience: Don't go here, they may not let you go. Not even near enough staff

Negative experience: I'm going to say I'm thankful for the help at $9,000. + a month ... but Winsor is very lacking in personal. .. the head Nurse got upset with me for saying, "it took over 30 minutes for someone to check on my wife after she pressed the call button." ...the Nurse became defensive and said, "look we have 3 CNA's to cover 30 patients" ... I wanted to say, " look lady hire more CNAs" ... because at about $10,000 a month I can hire someone to watch my wife 24/7 and more ... So thankful for the help when I needed it ...just wish that they had the staff to just do what they should be doing for the money ... if they can't provide basic care with the staff they have get more people ... They helped, but I'm far from impressed. .. they're a 4 on a 10 ... so stars I'll give 2 because I can't give 1 an a 1/2 ... enough said
