Fantastic experience: Amazing, dedicated group of medical professionals. I've seen them for several sports-related injuries over the course of 15+ years and their treatments and recommendations have always resulted in significant improvement and healing.

Fantastic experience: At my first visit, I was attended to by three (3) people that gave me a thorough examination including testing my reflexes, the strength & flexibility in my legs, knees and feet and asking me questions about my existing condition as well as my day-to-day activities and how, if at all, my condition was impacting me. I was then given five (5) activities to do on a daily basis along with an instruction sheet. I was shown how to do these activities and then practiced them myself and was given feedback about how to do them correctly & safely. I was then set up on a schedule of five future appointments, every other week. I was very impressed and pleased with my experience. My physical therapist is Jeffery and he is very knowledgeable, patient and has a good sense of humor. Back again, 18 months later and I have a different PT - Sara Acevedo- she is excellent - very professional and creative in terms of considering different perspectives on my situation. She gave me a thorough testing of my current status and made updated recommendations for treatment.

Fantastic experience: As someone who is sceptical I wasn't expecting my experience with Tai to be so good. The staff are kind and understanding. They are supportive in not only your rehabilitation but future fitness goals no matter the scope. You will be in good hands with Tai handling your physical therapy needs. Fantastic experience: Krista has been extreamly amazing helping though a very difficult time by helping me figure out what was causing my pain and loss of strength. After the injury was identified and repaired she has slowly and cafeully helped me regain strength and mobility. I would recommend her to anyone who needs Physical Therapy, I will always be greatful to her and their team.

Fantastic experience: This place really helped me out and they’re helping my daughter Maliah right now! I have degenerative disc disease and they’ve helped me get stronger in my thoracic and my lumbar spine to where I can tolerate every day life. My daughter had a sale repair surgery a week and a half ago and they are already helping strengthen her knee. She has a long road recovery but I wouldn’t go anywhere else because I know they are motivated 100% to their clients in my experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been evaluated and treated for an injury at TA. Garrett was my primary physical therapist and he is extremely knowledgeable, explains everything clearly and patiently, and has helped me a great deal. Tamara is also a very helpful PT assistant. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Ive had a great recovery while working through 2 separate problems with this office. They do a thorough evaluation to pinpoint the issue and then assemble a combo of excersizes to increase both strength and flexibility simultaneously. Their team makes sure you understand how to do the excersizes confidently, and willingly answer questions about the how & why from start to finish. I'll be coming back to them with my next sports related injury :) I love how quickly I could address the issue and get back to life.

Fantastic experience: The associates at this clinic are top of the line. They have helped me immensely both pre and post back surgery. They adjust the treatment to the current needs not a strict regimen. I can honestly say they've helped me in very trying pain and strength issues.

Negative experience: I have had two massages in four appts. First one had to be cancelled on the same day, and then wait a week for a reschedule. Second appt was 15 minutes late, just me sitting and waiting. Good thing i showed up 10 minutes early as requested. Third appt went smooth. Fourth appt today, after sitting in the waiting area i was informed they couldn't find the massage therapist. It takes a lot for me to get the time off for an appt, i know this is my problem, and this is my review. My time is clearly unimportant to them. The PT people all seem happy as a clam, i should know -i spend enough time in the lobby watching them go their appts no problem. Do not come here for massage therapy, they place little to no importance on these patients and it really shows.

Fantastic experience: Josiah is an excellent PT. He listens and builds a program, with you, to fit your individual needs. As your sessions continue he modifies and adapts as you make progress. Not only a forever learner, he trains others in the field of PT. I highly recommend Josiah.

Fantastic experience: Arriving with a SI joint issue that was so debilitating it was difficult to roll over in bed , enjoy gardening and other 'chores' Today I feel so much better/stronger - I can take on things I was avoiding without fear of pain! The fabulous staff have given me tools to work with as needed in the future- truly I can not say enough about the staff- from checking in to the assessment and training. They make it fun - working with you in building up your muscles/strength from your starting level. I would absolutely recommend this place they are a delight, professional and so knowledgeable ~

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Josiah Faville by one of my fitness instructors who noticed I was having difficulty with pushups. In fact, I have quite a bit of pain in my thumb joints/hands due to arthritis in those areas and weight-bearing activities can be excrutiating. At my first visit Josiah asked what my goals were and I said I wanted to be able to do pushups, planks and burpees again without pain. The strength and flexibility exercises he gave me to do really helped, and I now have workarounds to perform pushups and planks pain-free. Still working on the burpees, but I will get there! I so appreciate Josiah's support and consider my therapy very successful!

Fantastic experience: I have used Therapeutic Associates South Salem for two different injuries as well as pelvic floor therapy pre and postpartum. Throughout my treatment I've worked with nearly everyone in the office. I'm always greeted with a smile and the staff have taken the time and effort to get to know me. They have gone above and beyond to find the right exercises to help me heal and gain new strength. I recommend them for your physical therapy needs and highly recommend Kirsten for pelvic floor therapy. She has been very encouraging and the best support as I prepared to give birth. I'm so thankful to have had her on my team. If you are pregnant or postpartum do yourself a favor and give pelvic floor PT a try. You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: Josiah Faville is one of the best physical therapists I have worked with. If you are looking for a therapist who is bright, energetic, kind and caring, then you don't have to look any farther. I met Josiah when he was a relatively new therapist but he gained my confidence when I saw that he was as skilled as my old therapist (who coincidently was his instructor!).

Fantastic experience: These are hands-down the best physical therapists in Salem. So far each therapist I've worked with has been excellent. I'm currently rehabbing a shoulder. After months of no progress with a different therapy group, I transitioned to TAP where I finally got a correct diagnosis and am now making quick progress.

Fantastic experience: Talking to Jeff about my leg situation was so educational and helpful. He checked my leg and ability to move thoroughly—the first time any doctor or therapist anywhere has checked me out properly since I first complained of left leg pain in February 2022. And Elizabeth gave me some exercises to to do, explaining them skillfully and patiently. It was a very, very productive visit and I was very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I've found everyone at this clinic to be polite, attentive, efficient and professional. The facility is "squeaky" clean which I appreciate. My team of physical therapist and exercise specialist have been diligent in diagnosing my issues and then prescribing appropriate exercises to help me over come my physical ailments. I've found they both encourage communication from me to them not just from the professional to me. They listen carefully to any observations I have about performing the exercises and provide adaptions or different exercises as needed. I have experience significant improvement since starting at this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I came to the office not sure what to expect considering I had never been in physical therapy before. I was in a lot of pain (6+ months) and was frustrated with how I had been feeling. I was immediately met with compassionate, kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and attentive providers. From the PT, Jeff Blanchard, to the support staff, everyone was amazing. They listened to my pain story, provided support, and helped me through the process of healing. When I was unsure of myself they encouraged me and gave me relevant feedback. I especially appreciated the focus on the mental health/stress aspect of pain that I learned about at the office and it has helped me on my journey. I highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience working with Sean Degn! He is a great listener and was able to assess what was wrong quickly and accurately. I have been running for 20+ years but the last few have been so painful that I had pretty much given it up. I decided to give physical therapy a shot and I am so glad that I did. After just a few weeks all of my pain was gone. I am now able to run using the full range of motion in my legs and as a result I am faster than ever!

Fantastic experience: My first experience with Therapeutic Associates dates back to 2009 with a badly bruised hip. Josiah Faville was assigned to my case and had me off crutches and back to bike riding within 3 weeks. Unfortunately he has had to help me rehab both shoulders and most recently a broken hip that resulted in hip replacement surgery. This happened on December 8, 2020 and he had me back on my bike February 12. The staff is exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. Everyone who has assisted Josiah with my rehab has been equally professional and focused on my needs and desire to return to physical activity.

Fantastic experience: I've been to Therapeutic Associates several times for hip and knee surgery recovery, and most recently for recover from a shoulder surgery. They are always friendly, upbeat, and push me gently to achieve my recovery goals. I've worked most often with Jeff Blanchard, but have worked with other staff members too and all of them have been great to work with.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Jeff Blanchard for several of my maladies. I will say that as a medical professional myself Jeff is an amazing physical therapist. He really knows his craft. He not only shows you how to do the exercises, he instructs you why they are assigned and what they are designed to accomplish. His training and instruction under an Osteopathic Physician also adds a lot to his amazing skill set. I have referred Jeff to many of my, family (Wife included) co-workers and patients. His staff are also top notch professionals and you cannot go wrong using Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy in South Salem. They are very busy for a good reason. If you find yourself needing some physical therapy for any reason, don't hesitate to call them.

Fantastic experience: Started my history with Jeff Blanchard and TAI back in 1996 . I injured my left knee and started therapy for torn meniscus. I had two surgeries on torn meniscus, shots and then knee replacement. Jeff and associates provided all therapy. I then moved on to the right knee which was bone on bone. Then knee replacement. Thanks to Jeff and associates I was at top of pack in movement and healing. Dr. put right knee in crooked, so another knee replacement. Praise the Lord for Jeff and associates they got my back with top movement of right knee. During all of this I had a bad left shoulder and hip problem. Thank goodness they have had my back through all of this. So we have about 30 year history. Would not go to anyone else and if I have issues with anyone contact Jeff first and then go from there.
