Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy - West Salem

Fantastic experience: I was referred to address possible bladder issues, and my experience with this physical therapist was truly life-changing. In just one session, Gina approached my concerns with deep understanding and a trauma-informed perspective. Through her guidance, I came to realize that my struggles weren’t due to personal failure, but rather the result of harmful treatment from others. I had been shamed for not being fast enough in the restroom and rushed by others, not because they needed to use the bathroom, but because they felt it was inconsiderate to take my time. I was also told to hold it without proper guidance and even had water restricted to limit how often I went. She helped me understand that the shame I felt was misplaced. The education and exercises she provided empowered me to take better care of myself. Since then, I’ve been more hydrated, the urgency reduced, and I’ve come to see that my bathroom habits were actually within a normal range. Though I didn’t get to follow up due to medical complications that led me to a different facility, the impact of that one session has stayed with me. I am now more aware of my needs and no longer accept being treated in ways that harm my well-being. Her kindness and humane approach gave me not only physical relief, but emotional healing. I’m so grateful. Thank you for helping me reclaim trust in my body.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to, and am currently receiving bi-weekly physical therapy from Rachel at Therapeutic/Associates in West Salem. I am very pleased with all employees at this office, and the attention they pay to each patient. Rachel, my therapist, has brought me from a painful situation with my leg (unable to sit in a car for more than 20 minutes), to becoming almost completely pain free in only 4 weeks. I can now drive for more than two hours. Rachel has definitely made my life much better. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a pt that actively listens, spends the needed amount of time with you, and has a great sense of humor, Gina Paine is the therapist for you. The staff are friendly. The office is clean and there is ample parking. Last but not least, at the end of your program, they give you a parting gift. Who doesn't like gifts. If at any point I am in need of a physical therapist again, the Therapeutic Associate is where I'm going!!

Fantastic experience: I am a patient at Therapeutic Associates since many years. I went through physical therapy before and after total knee replacement and I was up and walking without difficulty in no time. I was also successfully treated for back pain. Currently I am working on balance issues. Through targeted exercises I am regaining my self confidence in averting a fall. Thanks to the excellent therapists Gina and Ana the quality of my life has improved significantly.

Fantastic experience: After an injury to my arthritic knee, I sought physical therapy and was referred to Therapeutic Associates. I can't recommend them more. The reception staff were courteous, efficient, and professional. I was especially impressed with the physical therapist Rachel. She assessed my condition and developed a treatment plan of targeted exercises to help me recover from the injury. In about 4-6 weeks of care, my knee improved significantly and I am now continuing the exercises on my own. I'm grateful to Therapeutic Associates.

I travel from Eugene to consult with Gina on my urinary tract issues, and she is more than worth the drive. I have had the pleasure of working with all the physical therapy specialists and assistants. What sets this team apart is their ability to listen to your needs and tailor programs to suit your body's healing process. They maintain excellent communication among themselves, ensuring that no matter who you see, the focus remains on achieving the patient's goals.

Fantastic experience: They have been great for our entire active family. I’ve seen them for recovery after knee surgeries. My wife’s gone for hip issues, and our daughter has seen them for knee and hip issues from running and dancing. Each provider has taken the time to get to know us and our issues. Their individualized treatment plans have gotten us back moving and enjoying activities again quickly and safely. We highly recommend this practice and will keep seeing them as we keep playing.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about this location. All of the staff are friendly and kind. Everyone is happy to answer questions, and regardless of who you see for PT here you will be well taken care of. I have been going for both my shoulder and knee, and both have steadily improved. Plus, parking is easy. There are a couple of handicap parking for those that need it right by the door, and the designated parking for other patients are labeled and close by.

Fantastic experience: I had a total knee replacement. At 76 I was concerned about my recovery. Physical therapy made my recovery easy and quick. Jess was wonderful. Jess designed a program that stretched (pun intended) me as I progressed. Jess is competent, caring, compassionate and supportive. Besides all that, she is also a very nice person. Her assistants, Deandra and Gabe are also very good. I highly recommend Therapeutic Associates and Jess.

Fantastic experience: So appreciate this PT office. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the front desk people you will feel right at home. Gina Paine is the therapist I can speak to as she has worked with me on a couple of occasions. She is personable and very knowledgeable. She has brought healing to my body and mobility and comfort back to my life.

Jessica has been very supportive through all my injuries and disabilities. She has found methods of therapy that have improved my neck and shoulder movements and I have less pain then ever.

Fantastic experience: I was blessed to find my way to Dr Gina Paine for physical therapy after my knee replacement in 2010. She got me moving again and helped me understand both the healing timeline and the importance of keeping up with the assigned exercises a home. She has helped me work thru healing from shoulder and back surgeries (and more) since then and is always spot-on with her therapeutic approach to whatever problem I present. The office staff and other therapists are friendly and easy to work with; I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Positive experience: My therapist was amazing, really knows her stuff, and the whole staff was welcoming and friendly. I left one star off, however, because my initial referral got missed and so had to be re-issued. And then I did not get a follow-up when I called in a question for my therapist, who indicated she had not received it. For me it would be most helpful if, on the printed PT page, one would be given the email for one's therapist, and so questions could be sent that way directly. Just a thought. I'd still highly recommend them, though!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Paine is great! I needed physical therapy about seven years ago after a car accident and she was very professional and kind. She explained the exercises very well and was informative about the therapy she was providing. I felt so much better after the therapy was done.

Fantastic experience: Expensive especially when your insurance sucks, BUT what they did for me was amazing. My legs were falling apart and I needed help badly. The treatment I received helped me recover, the staff was just bundles of joy, and I was educated on how to stay healthy. If you can afford it, definitely visit the West Salem office.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service. The workers here try to sound professional, but are full of lies and do not care, which explains why many therapists have left. DO NOT COME.
