Negative experience: I called asking about a free trial or free day pass and the person I talked to lied about the day pass being free. After, I inquired about the membership price because it’s not posted on their website, and Katya emailed me back asking me to schedule an appointment to “continue” my registration. Nobody gives a clear answer. Very scammy. Urmila the yoga instructor was wonderful when i used my paid for day pass. I would prefer to see her at another studio. Hopefully Urmila reads this and offers services elsewhere in addition to Montage.

Positive experience: Note: Montage is by referral only and a mask is required to enter. The office is clean and more on the modern side, with free wifi and TV while you wait. This facility is as far as I can see well equipped for the gambit of ailments and special needs. They also have a full-size gym next door. My exercise plan was so simple had i known I would've taken those youtube videos i watched more seriously bc to be honest, any one of those YouTube videos is just as good and will suffice. My therapy plan was so simple, It didn't feel right, lol, but those little neck stretches helped me sleep better so they do know what they're doing. Simple exercises like open book arm stretches feel silly like how is this gonna help? But help it did with my neck and shoulder pain. Start by laying on one side knees bent with extended arms in front, keeping eyes on arm slowly reaching as far to the back as you can, then returning to original position like an open book. Simple yet effective. It's quite expensive, so it's best to have insurance, but Montage doesn't deal with third party's, they simply bill you, and you send the bill to your insurance co.

Positive experience: I specifically go for the pool and it was closed down they say for weeks so I have no idea when I'll get to go back to the gym again these parts should be on standby not waiting for them to be ordered

Fantastic experience: This is the newest "physical therapy" and fitness location for the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. The physical therapy and fitness sections are devoted areas so you won't be trying to do physical therapy with the fitness gurus and vice versa.

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with the staff. The facility is spotless and plenty of space. The air is fresh and cool. We will be members for life. Five stars for this facility.

Positive experience: Love this place. A large senior citizen contingent makes up the clientele. Has an attached physical therapy clinic. A warm water pool and a large swimming pool. Many walking treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines and other exercise equipment. Many lockers, clean bathrooms and friendly helpful staff. Classes for some things as well. Aspire members get a price break.

Fantastic experience: During the month of September Montage opened their facility to seniors in the community. The weekly presentations focused on ways to balance ones life. I found each session informative and enjoyable. The weekly classes are available each Wednesday at 10A during the month of October of 2023. The classes are open to seniors in the community at no charge.

Fantastic experience: I had a knee replacement on my left knee. Well, it didn't go quite the way my right knee replacement went. It was immobilized for 10 days right after surgery. As it was healing, my mobility was greatly suppressed. When I started rehabilitation at Montage Wellness Center, I had 53° bending mobility. Now I'm at 120° working on reprogramming my body to recognize the balance input from my ankles and hips now that my knees don't do that function. I cannot say anything negative about the Physical Therapist. She is thoughtful, and listens. I hardly recommend this location for any rehabilitation.

Negative experience: UPDATED my initial review. I used to go there for PT. But after finding human feces in the shower, I changed. Mainly because I called them to report it, after I left, and they NEVER returned my call. TEND TO THE BATHROOMS REGULARLY FOLKS. AND STOP PUTTING SO MUCH CHLORINE IN THE POOL!

Fantastic experience: It's like having your own gym to yourself. It is a tad more expensive than the overcrowded, slammed packed gyms. But you get quality and a comfortable place to work out. Beats working out with sweaty creepers all around. Recommended.

Positive experience: Clean, well-equipped. Amazing staff. A couple things to consider. It's about 50% more expensive than the other gyms in town, but they restrict membership numbers. Also - the hours are much shorter than other gyms. If you have to get to work early like me, you won't be able to get much of a morning workout in. And weekend hours are pretty restricted as well. Don't go to a matinee and then workout - the place will be closing. I happen to be disabled and that was a major reason I chose this gym. It's very accessible with pool lifts and many accommodations. However, this is not your private gym. If you are disabled and need to use the accessible facilities, be prepared for other members who do not clean up after themselves and who do not know how to make sure the transfer bench is dry and wiped off. You know how it is. Non-disabled people think the bench is a soap dish, so it gets slippery, and they tend to splash water around. Just be aware. The cleaning staff is good, but they may not get to this type of thing more than a couple times a day. This is a great place to workout!
