Fantastic experience: I was in so much pain, with plantar fasciitis in both feet. I had injections and was considering surgery. I started physical therapy instead, with David Blake. It took 8 months, going twice a week, to gain results. It worked! I am now able to walk barefoot, take a shower, without the tiles hurting my feet, and exercise like I did before. I lost 117 pounds, during and after this remarkable therapy. I am beyond grateful and wanted to share my story! Thank you David!!

He & the MLPT team provided great support, a variety of exercises, shared information and actively listened when I provided feedback, and were invaluable in my recovery. Fantastic experience: The staff are compassionate and professional, with the right amount of humor thrown in. They push their patients to work hard, yet also know when we need a breather. I had great experiences with them for both knee replacements. I'll be back should I ever need PT again, although I definitely hope that's not in my future.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a pelvic floor therapist, please consider Alice Hamilton. Alice doesn’t put you on PT autopilot. She takes time to listen & really understand the entire & often very personal issue. She cares about her patients. She is interested in providing you the necessary tools & helping you learn how to heal. Update: Mountain Land has been struggling to be fully staffed. When I returned for follow up treatment, I was often left alone & not adequately shown how to do the exercises. Alice would disappear with her pelvic floor clients and I would spend approximately 10 minutes maybe 15 with her. At $175 an hour that’s a lot of alone time.

She's followed my doctor's protocol, and helped me get back to my full level of activities quickly, safely, and set me up for success to maintain my level of health. Can't recommend this location and Emily enough!

Fantastic experience: I went to this physical therapy location for a weight lifting injury to my shoulder. It was a tough process but Christina and the rest of the staff were understanding and encouraging throughout the recovery. Overall, the staff made the experience the best it could be and genuinely cared about my recovery. Highly recommend working with them if you're in need of PT.

Fantastic experience: Great place to go to.

Negative experience: They won't schedule appointments when your therapist says she wants you to come in. I was told it was too hard to put in the computer when I was the clinic so someone would call or text me to add them, but it didn't happen. They don't answer the phone so I couldn't make sure I was scheduled. I live an hour and half away but this was where my referral was sent to a few months before. They cancelled my appointment the day of when I was finally able to get my next appointment scheduled a month after my previous one, despite my therapist saying she wanted to me to come in to see her two times a week.

Fantastic experience: Alice was great to work with. She diagnosed the problem that other doctors couldn’t and in 6 weeks I felt the best I have in 2 years.

When I was first told that I needed to go see a physical therapist I was not happy, as past physical therapists I have had didn’t really help me. Although, as I started working with Alice, she helped me work through a lot more than I was originally coming in for. I got TMJ and had no idea that there was an actual medical option to help alleviate the issue. Fantastic experience: I have worked with David for knee replacements. The left knee in April and the right Knee in June. David was very helpful in the first knee by understand my concern about getting it as strong as possible before I had surgery on the other knee. I continue to recover from the knee replacements and I find it very helpful to have a physical therapist to guiding my therapy routine so I can recover rapidly and with out injury. Davids Knowledge and concern is key in my recovery.

Fantastic experience: I would absolutely recommend Mountain Land to anyone who needs PT. I had a great experience here after I tore my meniscus. My therapist David was fantastic and I healed so much more quickly after my second surgery and I attribute that to Mountain Land. Fantastic experience: Been a patient of this facility off/on for 7 years. Hamstrings, shoulders, and low back. Great PT’s that will make you work hard on your road to rehab. Update: The review above was written a couple years ago and I had not needed any PT until June of this year. I recently had a reason to return to this clinic because of recurring and sometimes severe low back pain and spasms. No specific injury, my back just started hurting, probably due to age and wear-and-tear. All the personnel were new; I was treated by RPT Grace Ward. After a thorough exam of my back and assessment of my mobility and pain levels, Grace gave me comprehensive set of stretching and strengthening exercises. Treatments at the clinic included massage, cupping, heat, and STEM. I have had low back issues for almost 40 years, including 2 surgeries. Never have I had such rapid relief of the pain and spasms. I had six sessions over the span of a month, and have been completely pain free for more than 2 weeks. I'm able to work, golf, and hike without limits. Thank you Mountain Land Physical Therapy and specially Grace Ward!

Fantastic experience: Fun experience and atmosphete. Got the help I needed and questions answered.

Fantastic experience: TLDR: I fell and messed up my left leg. Without the staff at the Foothill location of Mountainland Physical Therapy , most specifically David Blake, I would not be in a position to enjoy the activities I love. The whole scoop: I fell doing heavy gardening (sic watering plants on my tile patio while wearing Crocs; I never said I was smart!). I was taken to the ED via ambulance and sustained a significant injury to my left leg. The areas of concern were a minor MCL tear and grade two ankle sprain. I was sent home with well wishes, but no aftercare. Fortunately for me, I was called by the Foothill Family Clinic care coordinator, who scheduled me for an appointment to see the clinic’s sports medicine physician. Dr. Payne spent time understanding my health history, injury, and baseline health status. He referred me to Mountainland. I feel really lucky to have been referred to Mountainland and even more fortunate to be put on David Blake’s schedule. I’m a 50-something woman who doesn’t need heavy rehabilitation to get me ready to compete. What I am, however, is a 50-something woman who doesn’t want to become frail at this young age. The physical activities that keep me centered are yoga and scuba diving. As you can imagine, an injury like mine has impacted my ability to participate in the activities I enjoy and, quite frankly, need. David understands what is important to me and has adjusted my exercises to build personalized program that will build the strength and flexibility I need. When I graduate from David’s service, I will be able to resume my yoga practice and you can bet I will be able to go on an hour-long dive finning myself around in warm tropical waters while watching fish, looking for the tiniest of creatures, communing with turtles, and soaking in the calmest and most beautiful environment I have ever experienced. Thank you David!!!

I honestly chose this location out of convenience because it’s so close to where I live, but the team here has been invaluable to my recovery. I had both knees replaced in 2023 and Christina has helped me so much with my rehab. The Mountainland team knows their stuff. They’ll show you different exercises and watch your form throughout your session. They’ll make any adjustments or modifications needed, and make sure you don’t go too far outside your comfort level. They’ve helped me get back on the right track to doing the things I love with my wife and kids! Check them out for your PT needs!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Eric for my shoulder impingement syndrome and he totally fixed it. I went from not being able to run more than 2 miles without having to stop due to so much pain in my shoulder, to being able to run my whole half marathon without an ounce of shoulder pain. They did an incredible job.

The Foothill location is easy to find, has lots of parking, and is a good facility with great staff all around. Excellent well maintained equipment, and staff with lots of training and experience. Grace knew just hard to push me and keep me focused on my recovery goals. Mountain Land will be my first stop on the way to recovery for any future injuries.

The entire office has a comforting feeling. I would come back here for my care if the need ever arises.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Mountain Land physical therapy (the Foothill location) after having hamstring repair surgery. From my initial contact, until the very end of my treatment, I cannot say enough glowing, wonderful things about this particular facility. The entire staff is phenomenal! Teagan, The care coordinator is amazing. From my initial intake, to scheduling every appointment, to greeting me with a warm smile every time I walked in - she took such good care of me! She treated me like family. I loved watching her interact with the other patients.. so truly caring. My physical therapist was Cristina Cerrone. I can honestly say, that had it not been for her, I probably wouldn’t have gotten through physical therapy the way I did. I have never experienced such care and concern in my life! She took such a personal interest in my case, and in my healing… all with a sense of warmth and genuine care. Even though I did not work directly with the other two physical therapists, I saw the same traits in them. The staff creates such a warm, welcoming vibe. And even though it’s difficult for most of the clients to be there, I observed on every occasion that everyone seemed to be happy to be there. A special thank you to Tommy as well. A warm and caring aid who always took such good care of me. A wonderful experience during a very difficult time in my life.

Fantastic experience: 6 months ago when I started experiencing Achilles Tendon pain, I wasn't sure what to do. 6 months later, I'm proud to say that thanks to the help of the wonderful team at Mountainland Physical Therapy - Foothill (Cristina, Lindsay, Michael, Teagan I'm looking at you), I'm now pain free and happily trail running again. Fantastic experience: Update: I’ve been seeing them now for almost 2 months it is my 7th session or so… And continues to amaze me the good service and help that I’m still getting from this practice Alicethe PT she continues to help me with different techniques and strategies and homework that I do that has been helpful to me improve against the pain in the tailbone and other parts of my spine over 60%! And I am so much more functional and I can work now on my job. I’m also grateful that this practice works with Medicaid alsoalso a new young lady at the front Kelsey. She is supper August 2023: I am grateful for great care and attention I have been receiving from entire staff that I had to deal with at this facility ! PT Alice is professional, highly skilled and caring and from just seeing her in 2 sessions, I already feel much better. It is a big deal to have caring staff. Front staff and phone staff I dealt with like Mckenzie, Jon, Teagan, and every single staff member I had to deal with was caring and with prompt service. She is the best at breaking down stretches and exercises and knowing how to modify any exercise to help protect my back issues as well as more on my pelvic floor and bringing my abs back together after my second kiddo. Everyone that works here is welcoming and helpful with smiles and conversation all around. I have been treated for two separate injuries here with success in each. Positive experience: I've needed a lot of physical therapy over the last few years for various reasons. Alice at this location has changed my life, and continues to help me work through these issues and make improvements. We (my husband is also a patient here) drive past 2 other mountainland locations to come to this one because the team here is so good. I want to add to this that while the team is great something is going on with the billing dept for Mountainland. Somehow we now owe hundreds even though all our copays were paid on site. My husband's payments were apparently added to my account and we aren't sure why or how and there was never a balance due on my account. The billing team continues to increase the amount owed at every interaction and even with our receipts and insurance and the FSA showing that the amount they say we owe is incorrect they continue to fight us. Now neither my husband or myself can continue our physical therapy and we are trying to figure out how to pay this money we know we don't owe but can't afford the hit that being sent to collections would put on our credit. Great team at foothill, poor billing across the board. I want to add to this again. When I left as a patient due to the financial hardship billing had started for us, I had been asked not to leave by the front desk staff because I didn't have any balances due on my account and they said it wouldn't happen. Now, over a month later, billing is saying I owe money on my account since they associated it with my husband's account due to using the same card. They claim he was making payments to my account when he was supposed to be paying his. I wanted to come back and update this and I do see the reply here. I'm glad that we were able to find a solution that works for everyone. This was a very long and unpleasant experience that felt completely unnecessary. I stand by that the therapists at foothill are wonderful and that Alice really changed my life. While I do appreciate the eventual solution I would just as soon not go back to physical therapy to not have to deal with this billing team again.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic Team and newly renovated facility! I’m grateful for their professionalism, expertise with a range of modalities, and flexibility with scheduling. I highly recommend any of the physical therapists and appreciate the structure having attentive assistants/technicians during sessions to support therapies and keep us moving. Thank you MTNLAND!

Fantastic experience: I keep trying to come up with words to describe how grateful I am, but I can’t find any that do it justice. All I can say is you won’t regret seeing any of these strong, smart, kind physical therapists.
