Fantastic experience: We did a 3 week intensive session for our kiddo with Down syndrome and it was so beneficial for him. The staff is incredibly kind and the home therapy program they gave us for after was so simple and easy to continue at home. I also appreciate how accommodating they were since our kiddo is trach and vent dependent and comes with lots of equipment. We will for sure be doing more therapy with them.

Fantastic experience: We love IPTI! My son just recently did an intensive here and it was amazing! He is so much stronger and it has helped tremendously with his physical ability. The staff is amazing too! The whole staff is so great and you can tell they really do care about your kids progress.

Fantastic experience: Let me just start out by saying that I cannot possibly say enough good things about The Intensive Physical Therapy Institute! We love every single team member here. From the first time I called them to get my daughter Ally an appointment, they cared about her situation. Over the last year, they have helped my daughter Ally progress so much that even her preschool has mentioned the drastic difference in her balance and capabilities. Not only has the team here cared about Ally, but they have cared about my family as a whole. They always ask how my older daughter is doing, and they always ask how I am doing. This means more than they even know. Finding IPTI has truly been the biggest blessing to my family, and hands down this is the place to go if your child is in need of help. Thanks for everything you guys!

Fantastic experience: IPTI is AMAZING! I drove a 3 hour round trip each day for a 3 week intensive for my son and it was well worth it! All of the therapists are fantastic, friendly, so caring and make you feel so welcome. My son is continuing to progress and I cannot thank Muriel and her staff enough! If I decide to do another intensive, we will most definitely be back! This place is the best!!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love IPTI for our 2 year old! She’s made incredible progress since we started there. When we started in January, she was primarily army crawling to get around, and now in May she has a reciprocal crawl and is walking with support! Every one of the therapists and aids are so knowledgeable and skilled. We’ve worked with Candace, Mel, Viv, Kate, Becca, Amanda, Alee, and Malia, all with great results. The front office staff, Linda, Cathy, and Amanda, have been so helpful with scheduling and figuring out insurance coverage. Muriel has built an incredible resource for families to change their children’s life. We can’t wait to continue reaching our daughter’s potential.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old daughter with hypotonia went to an intensive Therpy session here. She had just barley learned to walk and she was able to gain so much strength and confidence. The therapist are wonderful with the kids and really understand how the body works, so they can address problem areas the kids have. They kept my daughter happy and having fun the whole time. Great place to take your kiddos.

Fantastic experience: This is the best place in the world! My daughter loves the therapists! They have made our dreams come true, when they got get to walk, which we never expected! We do 3 weeks of high intensity therapy which is Mon-Fri for 4 hours a day.

Fantastic experience: Love IPTI. It’s the best place I’ve found in Utah for physical therapy. The kindness of the staff, the individualized therapy program for each child and the progress my Son has made is priceless. The 96 miles I drive round trip to make this happen is worth every penny. If you want the best PT for your child IPTI is the place.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! Ms. Muriel was so nice and personable to my daughter, she was so caring and has helped my daughter tremendously! Ms. Candy was just as amazing! My daughter absolutely loves her! She was great at pushing my daughter and I can see the results! I love the fact that they all interacted and spoke to my daughter even though she’s nonverbal. They love their job and it shows. We did the 3 week intensive program and my daughter went from just laying to sitting independently and reaching and rolling and attempting to get up all in 3 weeks!!! My daughter also got to work with Ms. Jill and she was so sweet and patient and honestly all 3 of them have gotten my daughter so much further than I ever thought possible. Ms. Linda was always available to answer any questions and they are all just so professional. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place, in fact we’ve seen such a difference in our daughter that we’ve decided to continue physical therapy with them.

Fantastic experience: We have found the BEST therapist in Utah. Our daughter has a rare genetic syndrome, when we met with Miss M our daughter was not walking alone with or without a device. After a three week intensive program our daughter is walking with a simple walker. Along with that came a huge change in sensory. I no longer have to run out of stores because of crying babies, I can vacuum when my daughter is home, and she will leave her hair done for school, and much much more. We feel incredibly blessed to have found IPTI and we will continue to commute the hour drive for regular visits as well as doing more intensive sessions. You will not be disappointed with where this therapy will take your child. I have learned things about my daughter I feel like I should have known after all the years of specialist and countless therapists we have seen. I have new directions and things to help her learn and grow. In the special needs world it is key to moving those mountains we are all trying move.

Fantastic experience: Our son was born with a rare form of epilepsy and had a hemispherectomy surgery at age 2. While the surgery stopped his seizures, it also caused significant weakness on the right side of his body. We signed up for an intensive when he was 3. At the time, he could walk a few steps independently, but always needed someone close by or holding his hand. By the end of the intensive, he was walking all distances independently, and he would take off on his own and walk around with so much confidence! We have continued working with IPTI and have been so impressed with the way they tailor therapy to meet his very specific needs. They do a great job of collaborating with us and guiding us on how to best support his progress at home. Most importantly, our son loves coming to therapy and they strike the perfect balance between pushing him and making therapy fun and enjoyable. We struggled to find the right fit for PT after our son aged out of early intervention services, and we feel so lucky to have found such a great PT home for him!

Fantastic experience: I don't think there's enough room on this page for all the wonderful things I have to say about IPTI! Their entire staff is amazing, from the receptionists to the students who shadow the fantastic therapists! Every day of our intensive I was in awe of how Muriel and Candy were able to make exercises functional and FUN for my child - he loved going every day and never got burnt out. I also really appreciated that they were able to clearly explain to me in simple terms what was going on with him and why his body was struggling. I feel like I understand him so much better and can help him better at home now. My son is able to do things he could never do before after just one 3 week intensive. I could never see muscle definition in his body before, and now I'm starting to see it! He is always telling me how strong he feels, and he plays with so much more force behind everything he does. It's so exciting for us as parents to watch him experience this whole new world that's opened up to him now that his muscles are starting to develop properly. I can't wait to see how he continues to progress as we implement our home exercise program, and eventually do another intensive! Thank you so much to all the IPTI staff for the fantastic experience!

Fantastic experience: IPTI is wonderful! Muriel cares about the success of her patients as individuals. She is kind and patient while at the same time able to achieve results. Through an intensive PT session at IPTI our son made incredible progress. We were amazed by the strength and confidence he gained by working with Muriel.

Fantastic experience: We recently finished a two week intensive at IPTI and had a very positive experience. My daughter made amazing progress with walking and holding onto the handles of her walker (something she has been working on for a long time). Muriel is an amazing therapist and is great with kids. The staff is very friendly and they truly care about helping kids of all abilities!

Fantastic experience: We love IPTI! Candy and Muriel helped our son so much and we have seen a lot of progress. The office is clean, COVID-19 protocols are strictly enforced, and the staff are loving and very knowledgeable. My son had some sensory and balance concerns and with the help of IPTI we were able to find ways to help him. I can't recommend Candy and Muriel enough!

Fantastic experience: Intensive Physical Therapy Institute is wonderful! I have athetoid cerebral palsy and IPTI has challenged and helped me continually reach for new heights in what I can do by myself, as well as kindly correcting the ways that I already do things to be better and more efficient in the long run. But more than that, I love the people at IPTI! They are very good at what they do, both in the physical therapy and the environment they have created. Each child is far more than a name to them. They believe in me personally and dare me to dream big, in more than just my physical abilities. They are an important part of my support group. Thank you, IPTI!

Fantastic experience: I am thrilled with IPTI and the progress my daughter has made since working with them. My daughter took her first independent steps, at age six, because of their program. They are very friendly and work well kids. They make it fun and engaging and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: My almost-five-year-old son has been getting therapy at IPTI since he was 15-months-old. When he was discharged from the NICU as a baby, we were told he would never walk. After his intensive session Dec-Jan '16, he began using a walker. After his intensive in June '16, he began walking independently. In September of '16, we donated his walker to IPTI. His preschool teachers and aides could not believe the progress he'd made over the summer!! And now, in January of '17, we're back again, to teach him to navigate stairs and rough terrain. The therapists at IPTI are beyond fabulous, and they are also truly loving people. I could not be happier with IPTI and recommend it whole-heartedly.

Fantastic experience: I've spent thousands of dollars over many years trying to correct lower back, knee and shoulder problems--doctors, chiropractors, surgeons. Getting my body structure corrected through physical therapists who know what they're doing started taking care of my problems from the first treatment. My posture is better, which improved my breathing; my kneecap was unlocked and I'm starting to jog again; and my lower back pain is mostly gone. Hallelujah!

Fantastic experience: I would highly, highly recommend IPTI for any anyone in need of intense physical therapy. Muriel and Sergio are two of the best in this industry. We have a son with CP that makes the most progress in his efforts to walk with their care. Each session he becomes stronger and moves closer to his goals. Linda is a great administrator for the organization. It is worth every penny to go and do therapy at IPTI. They are professional and truly care about the progress of their clients.
