Fantastic experience: ALL the staff at California rehabilitation and Sports in San jose were great teachers during my couple months of visits. Each took the time to teach me new stretches for my back. I've attended other PT offices. I feel this one was the best. Eric Applegate on of the PTs really makes you work and answers all your questions to continue self care after discharge

Fantastic experience: Through my four months of physical therapy as I recovered from my Achilles repair surgery, I enjoyed and appreciated the treatment and assistance from this clinic. I interacted with everybody at least once and I'm thankful for the friendliness, positivity and the confidence they gave me in continuing my rehab. Scheduling was flexible, though it is easiest to find open appointments looking more than a month ahead. Hopefully I never need to rehab from a serious injury again but if I do, then I would return to this clinic. I worked with Riddhi first and it was nice closure to have her "graduate" me from PT. Their model is that I might be assigned any one of the therapists depending on the day and time that I happen to schedule, and I found it useful to get everyone's perspectives on my progress, from functional ability to how my incision/scar looked compared to what they might typically see. Riddhi, Anna, Esi, Eric, and Penelope are all knowledgeable. Esi and Eric coached me on toe yoga. Esi was always especially cheerful. And Katrina, Genesis, and Riona always made sure I went through all my exercises. Rayanne was pleasant from the first time I called in to ask for an appointment, and would greet me by name whenever I showed up. Thank you to the whole team!

Fantastic experience: California Rehab & Sports Therapy is a team that works to help you with exercises that resolves your physical issues. They are friendly and open to your questions. They are very busy, and somehow manage with the staff they have. A shout out to my therapist, Eric Applegate, who made sure I had the right exercise plan, monitored my progress, and checked to see that I was doing my exercises correctly. He is patient and a good listener. Glad my doctor made this referral.

Fantastic experience: I started treatment here in early 2025 for a new injury, as well as an old injury that had never improved over the years despite seeing several other physical therapy clinics before I moved to the Bay. To be honest, I had lost confidence in physical therapy altogether due to not seeing progress. But I decided to give it another try this time after the new injury, and I’m so glad I found this clinic! My new injury fully recovered in four months, and my long-standing injury (which had bothered me for over a decade) is finally showing real progress. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I think what made this clinic different for me is the knowledge, professionalism, and care shown by the entire team. I am a person who needs to understand the underlying logic and mechanics of things to be fully convinced, for example, for a certain injury, why a certain movement could help improve it, how it could be injured in the first place - and I found all the Physical Therapists, PT Assistants, and Aides that I have worked with have been incredibly helpful with their knowledge, and attentive. I’ve worked most closely with Riddhi and Esi as my "primary" therapists here, and also had great experiences with Eric and Penelope. I believe I’ve interacted with nearly all the aides, and I’m especially grateful to Katrina for her consistent support during my exercises. Overall, I am very happy with my experiences at this clinic, and I'd be happy to recommend this clinic to others who seek help for physical therapy!

She encouraged me and explained importance of each lift and step as l did my balance exercises with her. It made me feel like l could do it and do each lift and step well. Fantastic experience: California Rehab & Sport Therapy Am skeptical on doing physical therapy on my knee pain . I thought it’s just part of aging .i was so wrong. I was handled by a physical therapist name Elaine Thompson.She created a program of exercises for my knee and an app I downloaded so I can do it @ home. Staffs are nice and always show me the right position in doing exercises.Katrina Le one of the aides is always there to assist. After 2 1/2 months am back to normal in walking. No more pain.Am grateful and happy with the staffs of California Rehab &Sports Therapy

Fantastic experience: The staff here were great! I had Eric, Anna, and Elaine as my PT, all were amazing and really help me to get better, especially with my strength. The aides Fou and Riona were helpful in making sure I m on track and assist if I did my routine correctly. I would highly recommend this place! Fantastic experience: I came to this facility to get help with my frozen shoulder caused by surgery tissue scars and balancing/fall preventative therapy. Anna was very knowledgable and had helped me with my shoulder ( my movement range recovered). The massage has helped greatly and the routine as well. My balance has also improved and was given notes to continue routines as I graduate for maintenance. Fou was always happy to help and Katrina ( the lady with short hair) always diligently correcting the routine position. Ray the front desk lady is awesome at multitasking and following up. I am glad to come across this rehab. Thank You!

Fantastic experience: I did not want to do physical therapy. But every time I came in all the employees were so kind and made therapy enjoyable! I especially enjoyed working with Riona Retiro, she would engage in fun conversations with me and was just all around a great encouragement! PT Anna and Aide Katrine assisted me with my hip problem. The exercises were helpful and the heating pads were very soothing and effective. Anna pinpointed where I needed massage and encouraged me. I was experiencing extreme pain as I had injured my Sciatic and Tendons in my right leg. The pain was keeping me up at night. After working with Anna Casem and Eric Applegate I experienced significant relief. Anna and Eric showed me stretches that made a huge difference for me over and above my program I had been doing on a daily basis. I want to thank the staff in assisting me in my healing. I am virtually pain free now as I continue to incorporate what I have learned from my physical therapy experience. Negative experience: This is by far the worst rehabilitation center I've ever been to. I was essentially ignored by all present physical therapists aside from them telling me to do an exercise with minimal description or handing me a paper with pictures of an exercise and leaving me alone for up to 5 minutes to do the exercises unsupervised. I have been in physical therapy since childhood for my injuries and never in my life have I seen such terrible patient service, terribly loud and distracting environments, and blatantly disrespectful front desk personnel. I will NEVER let anyone in my family set foot in this establishment again.

Negative experience: The billing department cancelled all of my medical appointments because they failed to bill my secondary insurance. They did this with no warning, without even consulting with me or considering patient health and wellbeing, or even doing their due diligence to correct their own error. Ridiculous.

Negative experience: Awful service across the board. I ended up going to a different PT clinic since they do not do one-on-one care here. They just pass you from one PT to another for your next stretches. No one observes you or helps to correct stretches, to make it the most effective. Lastly, they sent me to a DEBT collector agency for not paying a portion of my bill ($30 mind you). Which for the record - WAS paid and they did not claim it, so it was “refunded” back to me. Never in my 6 years of being on my insurance have a had a clinic so inept to properly accept a payment & then put it back on the patient. I had to spend several hours trying to figure out the discrepancy between this clinic, my insurance provider, and my HSA provider. Such an awful experience and after all that work, they still sent me to a debt collector. Absolute joke of an establishment. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere with better care - from front desk customer service to actual PT work and rehab.

Negative experience: This facility has a smart working model. You come in and trainees get you started right away on your exercises. Then your therapist checks in on you. That way each therapist can have multiple clients in one hour. This would work well for established patients. New patients need more one on one attention and continuity. One recommendation I have is that whoever is going to start you on your exercises at least introduce themselves to start. Then ask you how you are doing with the exercises. I am a tough case due to my injury and had to switch exercises and constantly had to tell the trainee that I couldn’t do them. The continuity of service was a big problem for me as well. The therapists didn’t seem to read my file much past the current exercise. I am a tough case due to my injury. So why didn’t they start each session on what actually helped and worked for me the last session? Then work out with me what might be next? Again I think this is probably a smart model but you need to communicate a lot more between the therapists for it to work. And you should absolutely give new patients more attention for at least the first few visits. Everyone was nice, but they just didn’t really know me well enough to even care about what was going on. It was very disjointed. I wish I could get my money back. My pain level went from a 2-3 to 7-8 after coming here.

Fantastic experience: This review is LONG overdue! I have had the pleasure of going to California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy, on De La Cruz by the airport, for two different diagnoses, beginning in 2021. All of the therapists and therapist-aids are extremely knowledgeable, attentive and helpful when going through my prescribed exercises, to help with the nerve damage that I have and when I broke my femur this past August. All of the therapists that I have had, Anna, Zack, Penelope, and Neha (spelling?), have provided a therapeutic massage to aid in pain relief. After the therapist treats the area that is bothering me, I have the opportunity to have an ice pad or heated pad on my painful area, provided by Corolas (spelling?) Fu, and Vivian, the therapist-aids. This office has a very good feeling about it, and is a quiet and peaceful environment to heal. I highly recommend this physical therapy office. Colleen

Positive experience: I have been here for My ACL Rehab. Team is pretty good and Knowledgeable. I have been here for 2 months in my initial days of rehab after my surgery. Dr. Neha Sangani PT, was my doctor for all my PT sessions, she is pretty good and knowledgeable, I would say I'll rate her 5/5 in terms of the work she does. PT session lasts for 40-55 Min (20-25 Min you will be treated by a PT Assistant with exercises, 15-20 Min you have Manual Therapy, 10-15 Min they will have a machine/Ice on you), in manual therapy the way she explains you about the rehab has boosted my confidence a lot. I would defiantly recommend this clinic. Pros : 1-1 Personal Care for Manual Therapy Location & Parking They are open 6Am to 7PM Cons Very small Space, gets super busy sometimes Hard to get appointments, they are booked at least 1-2 months in advance.

Negative experience: The worst and dirtiest facility. Not enough people to take care of you and spend time with you. They notified you the final charge and they charged you something else and send the different bill month later. Stay away from this location.

Fantastic experience: Neha spent 5 weeks helping my husband regain strength post transplant surgery. She was amazing!!! Although aides often worked with us, she was overseeing and changing up everything. Under her watchful eye, she directed his form getting maximum benefit and she made it fun! We are super grateful she accepted his case even when he also needed cardio pulmonary rehabilitation. She guided him to kick start his recovery and get back to feeling like an independent functioning person. Although he has been released from having to live within 30 minutes of Stanford and we are excited to recuperate at the beach, we will miss Neha. We highly recommend her to all future patients. ❤️

The therapists along with the aides and those attending the front desk are very friendly, professional and attentive to one’s needs. A few years ago I used this same facility for another issue and am very satisfied of the results both times.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to this facility for my 11 years old son who plays competitive tennis and he got shoulder impingement problem. I must say that this facility provides a wholesome care with personal touch. Our PT was Elaine "Esi" Thompson and she was terrific. She took care of my son's problem completely by providing right exercises and also mental support which was required for my 11 yrs kid. All staffs were very well knit connected and worked towards common goal. I must recommend this facility for anyone else. Only grievances, my initial wait time was more than 2 weeks which is kind of ok though.

Sometimes a feller thinks "well I can do that, i dont need no stinkin therapy". and that feller would be doing himself a dis-service the whole team at CR Santa Clara is dedicated to helping you get better. They can teach you specific ways to rebuild muscle, and they hel you through it in a kind manner. What can I say, the entire team is great. When you walk in, or call, Rayanne and Angelica at the front help you schedule, understand insurance, and always greet you with a pleasant hello They hand you off to the Amazing exercise team. Karolis, Vivian, Fou and Robert walk you though the exercises and help you learn to do them safely The Phys Therapy team? I did not work with them all, but what a team Zach and Penelope know EXACTLY how to move and stretch you. They are able to manipulate and massage yo after exercise, to help you understand what the exercise is doing, and how doing same at home will help I only worked with Anna and Neha for evaluations, and they pushed, pulled, stretched, and brought me into the direction for healing 100% great therapist clinic. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Santa Clara Sports Therapy for all my PT needs on and off for over 13 years. I have found all the staff to be very knowledge helpful and friendly! Most recently in 2023 I needed help recovering from surgery for a torn Meniscus. Anna Casem, the director, evaluated me and explained very clearly and in more detail than my surgeon had done, what had happened and what was going to be done at the therapy center. I then worked primarily with Reno "Zach" Davenport to rebuild my strength in my knees. He was the consummate professional, an excellent masseuse, very kind, supportive, knowledgeable. Such a delightful man! And the aides that worked with me, Karolis Laurinkus, Fou Saelee and Kareen Edjan, were all hardworking, friendly, kind and just so lovely! And let's not forget those that I interacted with at the front desk, Rae Ann Rodriguez and Angelica Garary, who made sure to find spots for me to get all my visits in and were so warm, friendly and helpful. It is truly a pleasure to come to this physical therapy facility with such a magnificent staff! Fantastic experience: I went this morning to California Rehabilitation. I will recommend this place. I met Rayanne she is very professional and help me to get spot for my first therapy. I also met amazing therapist her name Aparajitha. She’s very kind and knowledgeable for explaining all the exercises that I need to follow. She advise me there is another branch in Milpitas. I promise them I will come back to thank them again. Before I forget also the aid Fou he is also good helper. So, Rayanne transfer my documents to Milpitas branch closer to my house. Fantastic experience: Me and my knee love this place! It is convenient to where I live the facility is so clean and has every tool to help me get back to a position of strength. My therapist Anna Casem is fantastic. Both physical therapy assistants - Penelope Gatton and Zak Davenport have made my rehabilitation life much more productive not to mention my scar looks amazing. Their hands-on touch is so gentle, therapeutic and warm. Karolis Laurinkus is a terrific aide and is always there when I look around for help. Rayanne Rodriguez at the front desk is always so responsive, warm and makes herself available - she's very good at her job and then some! Always a good experience no matter how painful.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to go for all of your therapy needs! Anna and Aparajithha are great at determining your needs. Neeha, Penelope,and Zak are great at working with your chart and schedule to get you through each therapy session. Their massage techniques are fantastic! Really enjoyed working with everyone there to help get my shoulder where it should be.

Fantastic experience: This place did a wonderful job helping me with my shoulder. They were very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and encouraging. Neha, Esi, Zach and Penelope all did a great job working on my shoulder many times, while Kareen helped me with my exercises, and Rayanne was really helpful at the front desk many times getting my appointments all sorted out.

Fantastic experience: Reno Zak is best physical therapist assistant, I have met in my life. His dedication to work is remarkable. I think you are lucky to have you as an employee. I will request you to permote him if you can, and try not to loose him. I am coming here from 2016, and he is the best who helps me a lot more than any therapist here. I met him this year as well. I know Ms. Aparjitha from the last time . Her dagonise is always right.whatever exercises she has provided was helpful. She is very hard working employee. January 23,2023 The service provided by Aparajitha and Reno Zak helped me most of the time. I hope all other staff working in this facility would be working great too, but I don’t have much experiences about them.

Fantastic experience: I just completed my PT sessions for my shoulder at Santa Clara location. I really enjoyed going to this clinic and my shoulder pain is completely gone. Great people and great service. Along the way, all people were very helpful especially, Neha Sangani (PT), Penelope Gatton (PT Assistant), and Rayanne Rodriguez (Front Desk). STROGLY RECOMMENDED.

Fantastic experience: I have been having physical therapy at California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy in Santa Clara for 2 months now. My knee’s range of motion has significantly improved! Fantastic experience: Very professional and capable staff. Post ankle joint replacement rehab got me walking like normal again. The therapists, Zach, Penelope, Neha and Anna, are top notch. Rayanne and Angelica at the front desk took care of all the insurance interface. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of California Rehab and Sports facility on multiple occasions. I've been seen by Anna, Aparajita, and Neha, and every interaction and treatment with them has been amazing. The therapists are caring and knowledgeable, the assistants make you feel welcomed and the overall vibe of the place is very relaxed. The facility is clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I went to Cal Rehab for my Shoulder surgery rehab. Max, Jackie, Tricia and the entire care team were extremely helpful in getting my shoulder back to normal. Max worked very closely with me customizing the exercises based on my progress, and needs. I had a great experience overall and would highly recommend them for Physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Very professional staff with experienced therapists who are both friendly and very competent. They had a very good plan for my recovery and the exercises were just what I needed for my injury. They press you enough without over exertion. Best rehab center I have visited. Fantastic experience: First I have to say the entire team is awesome! Rayanne at the front desk is always welcoming and helps resolve all scheduling conflicts. I started my journey going thru PT pre surgery Anna and Penelope were really able to explain and fill in some gaps that my doctor didn’t explain… this really inspired me to complete all PT session with a positive attitude and focus on getting stronger . Then I had surgery, after reading other reviews at other locations I decided that I would return to the Santa Clara site and continue working with Anna, Penelope and now Zak. I am so glad I did not quite fully recovered but this team is amazing! I know I’m in good hands at California Rehab and Sports Therapy, Santa Clara J. Lewis
