Negative experience: I would give it 0 stars if I could. The physical therapist were also rude; I’ve never been asked by a physical therapist to ask my surgeon what he wanted them to do with me. I would always feel anxious when going in. I never experienced being instructed to do the excersices by the aids, the aids were more compassionate and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Great place. All new instruments and very helpful staff. Remma is a great therapist and helped me in recovering very well from my knee replacement surgery post care.

She's helped me make significant progress with these injured body parts: hand, hip, knee, low back, and shoulder! So grateful to have her as my PT. Here's what I appreciate about her: * personable - easy to talk to and ask questions * caring - always asks how I'm doing, pain level, function, etc. * committed - consistently gives me excellent care @ each visit. * healing gift - She's great at what she does using various modalities and stretching me out to increase my range of motion, strength, and endurance! I've improved with each body part to my satisfaction. * knowledgeable - Based upon her knowledge and years of experience, she has a natural sense of what to ask me, how to evaluate, how to work my body, and what exercises I need. * organized - She always thinks ahead, figuring out how many visits I have left so that I can have the BEST progress possible and also meet our mutual goals. Writes detailed reports * creative problem solver - She gives me appropriate home exercises and even creates custom exercises not in the database that will help me the most. She thinks outside the box! *good boundaries - Always informs me of what my insurance will cover such as the total # of visits for the entire year under Medicare. She also knows that she's only to work on one body part at a time, not multiple body parts; great that she respectfully follows within proper insurance boundaries. Thanks for listening!!!

Negative experience: PT Meghana was very dismissive and apathetic towards me during my appointment. Her questions were brief and cold. She just wanted to know my pain level and location. She neglected to ask further about my condition, do a thorough physical exam on me, or periodically ask me whether certain massages or treatments were working or not. She bluntly told me to lay down and massaged only the parts of my back I mentioned were aching without inquiring further about my range of motions, limitations, or do other treatments. It felt like my appointment was just a simple checklist to quickly go through before her next client. Do not recommend meeting with her.

Fantastic experience: My experience has been great with Aishani and Joselyn. I have been to physicsl therapy before and this cation has been my favorite. Even though there is a language barrier with the therapist , they try their Best to comunicate when Jocelyn is not there. The place can be more spacious and can be limited with one bike but overall great Journey!

Positive experience: I only visited the Milpitas center for the past 12 visits for my fractured hand. Overall, I am pleased to see the team work between the PT and the PT Assistant. The PTs and the PT Assistants are friendly and focused working on the patients, not chatting away. The app that patients have access to work on the exercises that the PT recommended is extremely helpful to help patients improve faster. The only thing that I don't like from the Milpitas center is the smell of the building. As soon as I came in the building, I almost vomit. I know this place would get some bad smell from the air, but inside the building, it should not smell like it is. I recommended the manager to do something about it, but it didn't get done. So, if you have a sensitive nose like me and you have to come to Milpitas location, wear a mask; it would help you from breathing foul smells.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time trying Golden Hills Physical Therapy in San Jose. I was suffering from shoulder and neck pain. My therapist, Arpana, and her aide, Srivani, guided me through the exercises, and after just a couple of sessions, my pain was significantly alleviated. Negative experience: They are the absolute worst at answering the phone. It took me more than a month to finally schedule my first appointment, scheduling follow ups was fine because I scheduled while in office. But if you miss an appointment and try to schedule again by phone, good luck! They never answer and never call you back!

Fantastic experience: I am a daily swimmer. Suddenly, I had a neck problem that causes the pain down to my shoulder and arm. The pain was so bad that I could not even raise my arm for swimming. Luckily that I got a chance to treat at Golden Hills. After 4-5 treatments the neck pain is improves significantly. Until now my neck pain is only 10%. I could go back to pool and regular activities. Thanks to Reema and her team for your help

Fantastic experience: I love this place and the people, they really know what they're doing. I was here a few years ago for my shoulder, it was a great experience. Then last year I broke my ankle, and I definitely chose Golden Hills. During my rehab my teenage son needed physical therapy and I took him here. There is no better review than trusting them with my health and my child's health. The staff is encouraging and very helpful, it's a nice relaxed environment to work on what you need to heal. I'd give them 10 stars if I could :)

Fantastic experience: I had my ACL reconstruction of my right knee in June’2024. After my surgery I came to Golden Hills Physical Therapy for my PT sessions at their San Jose location. The physical therapists here are nothing but amazing, I primarily saw Shashi and Ekta during my recovery. They took ongoing feedback of my requests and devised programs which greatly helped my recovery. I was completely functional in about 3 to 4 months - doing household works, driving, walking the dog, doing groceries, light workouts etc. I’m very happy and completely satisfied with the care I received at the hands of Shashi and Ekta. The physical therapy assistants are amazing as well, they were very watchful while I did the exercises and corrected me when I wasn’t doing the exercises correctly. They were very encouraging and helped to keep the spirits up. The front desk staff was very helpful in setting up appointments and although I rarely rescheduled, they very responsive with any requests for change in appointments when I needed.

Fantastic experience: I came for neck pain 5 months before when my doctor suggested to get surgery but after doing physical therapy with Zalak, Khushboo, Arpana and Amala getting their expertise I was able to avoid surgery. I really felt very good. The front staff is very friendly here. Disha, Tina have helped keep my schedule very easy.

Fantastic experience: I am Tieng Pham. I having a lower back pain at level 6 sometime up to level 8, then after treatment several times from Golden Hills in San Jose my pain completely gone. No pain at all, walking around normal. I really appreciate everything you guys did to me. . Excellent staff and friendly. . Specially thanks Therapist’s Aishani Kini and Ekta Dalwadi. I would highly recommend their clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Golden hills from two months. My PT Kazumi is experienced and professional in her work. Whereas her PT aid Naisy is always helpful for my exercises. She is really to perform her job with her smile. I do mention here front desk Disha who is always helpful to accommodate schedule as per my need. Overall, my experience with this place is wonderful and I do recommend who needs help .I am still going there for my pain treatment.

Negative experience: Deserre, the front desk, is unprofessional, dishonest, irresponsible, and not admitted her fault for not checking in my mom in when I came to tell her to check my mom in 5 minutes earlier than my mom’s appointment. She just scanned my mom’s doctor referral, but not asking or do anything. We had to complain after 30 minutes waiting, then we found out, my mom was not checked in. She did not and refused to apologize for her mistake.

Fantastic experience: I began having right elbow pain about a year ago after playing intensive pingpong & doing hard garden work. At times it was so painful when raising a tea mug or changing gear shift.My PCP referred me to a Physical Therapist for “tennis elbow pain.” It was a bad treatment experience. I then tried to manage the pain myself by learning from YouTube. The pain however persisted. I requested to go to a different treatment center. This time I was fortunate to have treatment with Ms. Vidhi Patel, DPT, @ Golden Hills Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy in Milpitas . Dr. Patel knows & cares for what she does. Besides her exceptional clinical skills & knowledge, she approaches patients with care, respect & motivation. She examined status, reviewed progress & explained the next steps in treatment in every session. I was guided to exercise in the office & given clear homework to practice at home.The alternate PT & PT assistants & office staff are also knowledgeable & helpful. The equipments are new & modern. My symptoms are significantly reduced and I’m able to resume my normal work & hobbies. Thanks Dr. Patel & all supportive staff for healing my pain. I will continue to practice the learned to ensure long term recovery.

Fantastic experience: Sireesha, my personal Physical Therapist set up a weekly routine to strengthen my knee (patella). My sport Surgeon sent me here for physical therapy to avoid invasive surgery. He is to re-evaluate after my 10 week therapy schedule. I can tell you that due to Sireeshas' routine for me I am no longer in pain and I can now walk between 2 and 3 miles a day without use of my cane. My whole life has changed 100% and I have, due to my increased mobility lost 14 pounds in the last 3 weeks. I am now sleeping better. Thank you so much GHPT.

Negative experience: I'm very disappointed with the way they handle my appointment schedule. They cancelled my appointment twice 2 weeks in a row. First, they said there was a conflict of appointment schedule. second week, they called and cancel again due to Therapist was on vacation. I don't understand why they keep accepting new patients and can't accommodate my treatment. I will asked my insurance provider to look into this facility for review. They should not allow new patients if they can't provide health services we need. Very unreliable institution for a health provider. I don't recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had great experience with Golden Hills as a PT aide and as a patient! As a PT aide, I was able to gain hands on practice while helping patients with exercises/modalities. As a patient, my care was great with Dhwani and Vidhi! I made a lot of improvement, and they gave me a lot of advice on how to strengthen my legs and maintain a good exercise routine.

Dhwani, my therapist was highly effective in understanding my therapy needs, performing assisted stretches and suggesting exercise routines. Fantastic experience: I want to share 2 experiences with Golden Hill Physical Therapy 1) in 2020 at the peak of the pandemic they helped me recover from an RSI in my right hand due to strain in typing - I still remember the very beneficial statement one of the instructors made “with strength comes everything” and that was the Mantra for my recovery 2) in 2022 - my father from India visited my but had severe shoulder pain. I took him to Golden Hill PT and specifically I am very grateful to Shashi (Shashikumar Brahmbhatt) for how comfortable he made my father feel, and explained his injury to him. What was even more pleasant was, thanks in part at least to this - when my father went back to India he continued to do Physio!! This is a big deal as my father might not have normally considered it. Thanks Shashi. Excellent in patient care, the human angle and helping people recover. Thanks !

Fantastic experience: This place was great! I definitely came in struggling thinking I’d never be the same again but thanks to my amazing physical therapist Ali and the incredibly kind and friendly staff and aids I’m able to walk normally and basically be back to myself playing basketball and starting to weight lift again. Everyone was kind and helpful every session I came for and I was here every week for 9 months. Their positive attitudes every time they greeted me definitely lifted my spirits right before my session. Injury: ruptured patellar tendon

Fantastic experience: Came in for a snapped metatarsal in October, and they got me walking and even jumping a little by January. A month later and I'm playing competitive Volleyball again and hitting on 8ft nets. Overall great experience and training.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at the facility. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This was our first visit and initial evaluation was very thorough. We received much needed details about the current condition and also a road map ahead for recovery. Overall , very pleasant experience. I strongly recommend this facility to be considered.

Fantastic experience: Had a good experience. Staff is always friendly and attentive. They really make an effort to help you out through your process of healing. For me it was important to be able to gain back lower body muscle strength. I feel like they have exceeded my expectations. I'm not a very social person as well but felt very comfortable expressing myself and talking to the staff. Something they can improve on is maybe invest in some Air conditioning. It gets a bit hot in the summer time. Over all had a great experience. Thank you for attending to my care.

Fantastic experience: This place is very nice. My therapist is Khushbu. She is very patient and caring. When I went for the PT, she analyzed what my issue was and she gave me a set of exercises which helped me to heal. She kept telling me that I will get better and so I did. Fantastic experience: I have been taking my mom to Golden Hills for the past two years. Only the best experiences ever. The last 2 visits we ended up with a different therapist due to unavailability with our regular therapist Kushboo, who has been the best every single visit. My mom has chronic scar tissue issues in both her lower extremities and each time she finds the physical manual stretches done by the therapist very helpful. It gives her great pain relief that lasts a week until her next visit. Last 2 times, my mom was not getting that relief due to change of therapist. Each therapist has their own style, and unfortunately, this change of therapist was not working for my mom. After the 2 unsatisfactory visits in a row, we were heading out disappointedly, wondering that my mom had to live with pain till next visit. On our way out, we saw Shashi, who always greets us and says hi, no matter how busy he is. I mentioned to him about how my mom did not get her stretches done and how she was feeling worse pain the past few days. Now she had to wait for another week to get her PT treatment. Shashi patiently listened to us, took us back in, got a room available, and he himself did the PT treatment to my mom. I have never seen a CEO step up and do the job by himself or herself. Such a humble professional he is. The time Shashi spent with my mom ended up very fruitful. My mom benefited right away. Her scar tissue got less stiffer and the nagging new pain on her left hip was totally gone by the time Shashi was done with his session. He not only took care of her right leg for what she was scheduled, but also took care of her left leg that was acting up that day, which gave immediate pain relief to my mom. She was walking without her limp after the appointment. This pain relief is priceless. It is very painful to see your loved ones suffer and feel helpless when you can't do much to relieve the pain. But when Shashi stepped in and helped my mom and relieved her pain, it was priceless. Feeling thankful to this place and the wonderful boss who sets a great example to the staff. Thanks Shashi for your time and professional help!

Fantastic experience: My recent visit was for a wrist pain. Having been to several physiotherapists in the past for the same problem I decided to try your practice . In just 2 sessions and armed with some home exercises, my wrist was so much better in a much shorter time than I had experienced previously”

Fantastic experience: I have had knee and back problems ever since I can remember and have tried multiple PTs. I got my xrays done and after speaking to the ortho, he gave me three options: surgery, injections or try PT at Golden Hills. After two treatment sessions at Golden Hills with Shashi, I feel so much better. I am able to stand for a longer period of time without pain as well as take a longer walk in the mornings. PT saved me from getting surgery. Best part though is being able to sleep through the night without pain. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Therapist Arpana Thakar is the best therapist. My mom had shoulder surgery with about 5%of mobility on her right arm. Therapist Arpana has worked with my mom twice a week since January. Giving her at home exercises that have helped her gain about 50 % oh her strength and mobility. She is able to lift her had 3/4 of the way. When she had no strength to do that before . We are so great full for her dedication and hard work towards helping my mom with a fast and steady recovery. Fantastic experience: I had severe shoulder blade pain issues for 5 years. I have tried many different treatments before but nothing worked. I saw Dr.Shashi at Golden Health Physical, my pain went down to 50% within two weeks and below 10% within five weeks Dr.Shashi is a thorough professional and very knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I started going to Golden Hills Physical Therapy to rehab about 6-8 months after my ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair surgery. Golden Hills was the third different physical therapy location I had tried after feeling as if the previous two places did not do an appropriate job helping me feel comfortable getting back to playing basketball. After having gone with Golden Hills for a few months now, it's safe to say I am extremely grateful to have made the switch to them. With my ACL surgery being my 3rd surgery in the last 10 years, I have had ample experience with a number of different physical therapists. Despite this, I have no hesitation in saying the level of attention Golden Hills' therapists provide each patient, and quality of physical therapy that I feel I have been provided is unmatched by any physical therapist I have seen over the years. Each appointment, my PT took the time to understand the problems and pains I was having with my knee and responded by helping me through various exercises and drills customized to what my limitations were. I strongly feel that this personalized approach to physical therapy accelerated my recovery process and has been a key factor in my ability to return to playing basketball today. I don't usually write reviews like this but if I have learned anything through my number of injuries, it's that when it comes to your health and body, never settle for less than you need. If you are looking for a physical therapy location where you can be confident you are receiving the highest quality of treatment, then I strongly recommend giving Golden Hills Physical Therapy a try.

Fantastic experience: Ali and his team are great. My daughter is 4 yrs old and every exercise was tailored to her. She’s improved so much since the beginning of therapy and looked forward to it every week. Thank you for helping my daughter improve !

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars, I would! I came in with pretty severe knee tendinosis. The swelling and pain wouldn’t stop. Arpana and Ali were extremely helpful in my recovery and treatment. Within 5-6 visits, I was back to being active and playing sports. Their team is very meticulous and ensure you get the best treatment for your pain.

Fantastic experience: I was a bit afraid of going for physiotherapy but the staff and therapist are very nice and caring. They really listen to your problems and try and solve them. I am so much better and pain free that I can’t imagine just exercises can make this difference. Thanks a lot to everyone at Goldenhill therapy center

Fantastic experience: Everyone here have been a very big help to me. I'm doing a lot better and the pain has subsided. If you are looking for knowledgeable and caring people, this is definitely the place. The PTAs and the PTs are brilliant, courteous, professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. These people know their stuff, every single one of these people are golden, nice as nice can possibly be. Everyone is at their best all the time and they all work as a team. I'm so glad to have met most of them. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Ali is the best. I have a definite improvement in my hip since he has been working with me. He’s empathetic, caring and I can tell he has my best interests at heart. I keep up doing my exercises at home because I don’t want to disappoint him. Lol
