Fantastic experience: I had had intermittent pain in the back of my right leg near my knee for years. When it flared, it was really bad - if I was driving at the time, it was hard to keep my foot on the gas pedal because of the pain it caused. About 6 months ago, the pain became constant - it was painful to bend and to straighten my right leg. My doctor prescribed physical therapy and I've been going to Henry Mayo for about 3 months. I was "discharged" today because I'm so much better after receiving care here. It turned out that the pain was mostly from a tight hamstring. The therapists gave me the right exercises and stretches to release the hamstring and strengthen my hips. Without their expertise, I would still be in pain. On a more personal note, the PTs I saw were extremely friendly and warm. I'm glad I'm better, but I'll definitely miss the people I met. Huge thank you to Mike and Hope who were the therapists I saw most often and were so helpful and personable. I also need to thank Micaela, Katie, Omar, Terrence, Deanna. Steve and all the therapists and assistants at this facility. They all had a part in my recovery. Additionally, the receptionists at the front desk were friendly and efficient when checking me in or scheduling me for an appointment. I highly recommend this facility in Valencia should you need care.

Negative experience: This place is terrible, they let people double park in front of their establishments, blocking the road illegally and do absolutely nothing about it.

Negative experience: I was a member here for about 3 years and really only joined for their Zumba classes which I enjoyed. In the Spring of 2024...I tried La Fitness Zumba classes...loved their higher intensity...and basically stopped going to Henry Mayo in September of 2024. I came in to the Fitness Center ...Dec to cancel my membership...with 30 days notice and the understanding that the fee for membership would be taken out in December...which it was. Today...Sunday, Feb 16th...I received a call from Henry Mayo Fitness telling me my card was declined? What? I told the young lady on the phone that I physically came in and signed off on canceling my membership. The young lady became defensive and snarky and it immediately reminded me of the other reason I canceled HMF membership...poor/disengaged front desk staff. Reinforced that I made the right decision to cancel my membership.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. My PT Christine listens and explains very well. Although I continue to experience pain events. The tools she is giving me help to alleviate the ongoing pain inflammation and immobility of these events. The staff are all wonderful and have put up with my unreliable attendance due to family crisis. I look forward to continuing my PT journey

Negative experience: Nobody 'ever' answers the phone (for over a month now). Left many messages requesting appointment. When call is returned, disabled unable to get to phone, snother message is left, then process starts over leaving messages. Should not have to have phone by my side constantly (only have two hands to operate walker). HMPT is a business; incumbent to answer phone by live person able to schedule first appointment. Will try locate adminstrator, or physician office for assistance.

Fantastic experience: I ended up in the ER on Christmas Day with 3 life threatening infections; had bilateral pneumonia but the staff immediately gave me the necessary fluids and antibiotics to stop all these maladies. I was in the hospital four days and thankfully my energy and motivation is coming back. Thank you Henry Mayo staff for your care and compassion.

Fantastic experience: This is the best physical therapy facility and staff in Santa Clarita. I have utilized two other top name facilities. This is head and shoulders above: personalized attention by a PT, navigational changes to treatment based upon immediate need.

Fantastic experience: I'm happy I found this place. When you enter and leave they always have a greet. Everyone is friendly there. All the equipment is keep clean and I constantly see someone cleaning. The pool is well equip with the things needed for exercise. All the trainers are educated and know what their doing. The women's locker room needs a little care, only the sauna, steam. If you looking for a place to work out I suggest this place.

Fantastic experience: The main attractions are the Zumba, cardio, and Yoga group classes (more of all three please). Also, it is very well equipped. IMHO, the best gym in the SCV; every machine and every area spotlessly clean, throughout the opening hours. The members are great too, polite and courteous; plus no one leaves machines sweaty, or used towels around. The friendly & professional staff are exemplary. Thank you Henry Mayo for such a great gym to keep us healthy and fit.

The team are knowledgeable and dedicated and keep their members age 50+ in tip/top shape with specialized and personalized programs for each individual along with available group sessions and clinics. This is a first rate, full service gym.

Negative experience: Better to avoid this place. They just waste your time and no one respects. Scheduled appointments but no one shows up on time. Just heading to Gold's the next block for 1/4th the price! For the amount that is charge we expect "value".

Negative experience: Worst physical therapy place I’ve encountered. First, they only process two patients a day. Second, I waited 3 weeks just to get a phone call THE DAY OF, that they have to reschedule me.. Another 2 weeks away. The staff is rude, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Physical Therapist Erik was awesome. He helped me relieve pain in my neck, arms, and leg. I am looking forward to continue with his physical therapy for the next month. The facility was very nice and clean, and the other employees were very friendly and helpful. I only wish there was more parking closer to the entrance for patients that have difficulty walking, but do not have handicapped permits.

Fantastic experience: Colleen/Mike/Monica—-have the amazing ability to listen , diagnose correctly, and put together a rehab plan quickly. The aides completely know what they are doing, and the whole place runs like a well oiled machine, from the front desk, to the therapists, and everything in between. I highly recommend Henry Mayo as your place for rehab.

Fantastic experience: Staff is amazing. It's not like other gyms where trainers are trying to sell you their service first. They would rather guide you and help you. They are on the expensive side, but well worth it especially when you can't get a squat rack ever at Golds gym.

Positive experience: This was the first time, I was able to participate in several of their exercise classes. I thought on the whole the classes are very good. The ones I took worked most all muscle groups and all parts of the body. The instructors took an interest in ensuring students displayed proper form and we're supportive in the process. I recommend Henry Mayo's exercise classes and I like their exercise equipment as well.

Positive experience: Love my therapist Elizabeth. They were short with therapist in this field and I wasn't happy with the way that I had to reschedul my appointment. I don't still I had to wait a full month before I reschedule my appointment it took me 2 months to get in.

Fantastic experience: Clean. Very chill and staff are very personable. Way better than LA Fitness and other for profit facilities. Only downside is that it is geared towards adults rather than families (I.e. no swim classes or children's activities, although the kid's watch area looks nice.).

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to therapy 3 times so far. I’ve done more in 3 visits than I did in 10 at my last place of Physical Therapy. The staff are knowledgeable and they want you to succeed and move on to living a normal healthy life as fast as you can. I really love how clean the facility stays. They have people constantly cleaning any machine or dumbbell you use. I really appreciate Erik, my therapist. I’m very happy at Henry Mayo Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: This place is new, clean and uncluttered. The gym has never been crowded when I've been there, and the PT professional that I work with is skilled and knowledgeable. The staff is friendly. I called to cancel an appointment and their response was, "No problem!" Imagine that! So I highly recommend this place as a gym and as a physical therapy center.

Fantastic experience: I came to HM with no expectations. My experience has been excellent. The PT has exceeded my expectations. She has been informative, listened to my concerns, educated me on preventative measures and have been equally impressed with the staff at HM. I am thankful for all the help I've received.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy that I chose Henry Mayo Physical Therapy, the staff is extremely helpful and caring. Within 2 weeks of therapy I have significant improvement in bending of my right surgical revision knee. Again I am happy that I chose Henry Mayo for my Physical Theraphy. I wii not go anywhere else.
