Healthy Living Residential Program Santa Clarita

Fantastic experience: I genuinely couldn’t recommend Healthy Living enough. After a multiple year long struggle with substance abuse, I finally had enough. I called multiple detox and residential facilities in the area, but something kept nudging me towards Healthy Living. I checked in for detox, but decided to stay longer because the care I was receiving there was second to none. The entire care team (Barbara, Jorge, Manny, Sahar) were always so accommodating and supportive - everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and our individual needs were met. At no point did I feel like just another “head in a bed”, it always felt like everyone was doing their best to give me a real chance at recovery. The food was excellent and abundant and the facilities were always clean. If you or a loved one needs help, please reach out to them and be assured you/your loved one will be in good hands. I’ll always be thankful for Emil and the hard working team at Healthy Living and I look forward to attending their alumni events someday!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Healthy Living has changed my life and I will be forever grateful to all the staff for welcoming me with kindness, supporting me with compassion, and challenging me to grow into my best self. Nothing can be all perfect for all people, but if you open yourself to up to the process with courage and determination, you will succeed in achieving your goals. By choosing this specific program and opening my mind to be a sponge, I was able to lift the dark fog in my brain and regain the clarity and vision that will help me move forward one day at a time making positive choices and embracing gratitude. Fantastic experience: Great program and the staff is so nice. I gained valuable skills and tools so that I can apply to my life. Don’t expect to receive help if you’re not ready to change. You need to put in the work, just like everything else. I’m glad I completed the program and grateful for the people that run these programs. Negative experience: During my time as a client at Healthy Living, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and integrity displayed by the staff. My experience there was far from therapeutic and left me feeling unsupported and disregarded. The environment often felt toxic and unstructured, with staff members who came across as fake, condescending, and clearly uninterested in the well-being of the clients. It was clear to me that many were not there for the right reasons, treating their positions as just a paycheck rather than a responsibility to help people in recovery. One of my primary concerns was with the counselor, Sahar, who—despite being in a clinical role—seemed to lack both the life experience and professional background necessary to effectively support clients dealing with addiction. At just 26 years old, Sahar demonstrated little understanding or empathy, and often appeared more judgmental than helpful. Her attitude toward me felt personal, even jealous at times, and it made it very difficult to open up or make any therapeutic progress. Equally alarming was the facility’s failure to enforce basic safety standards. New clients were allowed to enter the program and openly bring drugs into the house. In some cases, those clients were caught distributing substances to others and still faced no real consequences. Romantic relationships and sexual activity between clients occurred regularly on site, again without any meaningful intervention or accountability from staff. Overall, I did not receive the level of care, structure, or professionalism that is expected from a treatment center. I left feeling more frustrated than helped. Healthy Living fell far short of providing a safe and supportive environment for recovery.

Fantastic experience: Healthy Living helped me save my life I was addicted to fentanyl and meth and I was stuck. Withdrawals were to strong with my lifestyle I was stuck but the nursing staff at healthy living was life saving I wouldn’t have made it through without the them.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place. I was welcomed and all my needs were met. I’m going to miss the staff. It’s a safe and healthy environment. I highly recommend this place if you need the help.

Fantastic experience: This rehab facility is the most easy going, yet beneficial place to decide on. The staff here are all pure class. They are friendly, patient, and always there for you when you need some sort of help and will always attend to you without hesitation. They have an amazing chef who cooks delicious meals everyday, but also very helpful just like the rest of the staff if you need someone to talk to. They have many intriguing meetings which happens every few hours or so, accompanied with a one on one therapist who is fun and easy to talk to, who comes visit you once a week. Every weekend they provide a fun outing for their clients, but they are all definitely a good time. I've established connections with others who are just like me and relatable. I'm currently in a sober living, but I really really miss this place already. I can't stress how amazing this experience was as a rehab and I've been to another I've hated. I wouldn't pass this one up. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: This treatment center is one of the best facilities I’ve had a pleasure experiencing. My partner completed his treatment there and to my surprise it really has made a huge difference within his wellbeing. He has sustained his abstinence and has been utilizing all that he has learned there everyday. Watching him with such grace and becoming stronger everyday is a true blessing. I would like give the most deserving “THANK YOU” to the nurses Barbara/Pricella who were absolutely amazing, the Therapist Ritsa who was phenomenal, the Program Manager Anita for her beautiful charisma, Emil for his outstanding encouragement, Sandy for her great motivation/kindness and every other staff member for going the extra mile to show it’s possible to live healthy. YOU WILL FOREVER BE GREATLY APPRECIATED FOR YOUR WONDERFUL/BEAUTIFUL WORK!!!!

Fantastic experience: I definitely have to give this extraordinary treatment center 5 stars for their exceptional professionalism, attentiveness and all around God sent atmosphere. Healthy Living has based their program skills on major growth and development on strong tools to survive the outside world. They focus on developing and establishing a better way of living without substances. The medical/treatment staff are outstanding, caring and are extremely supportive during the process of healing. I highly recommend if you are suffering from mental disorders /substance abuse, this facility will save your life. You will walk out with a better understanding of yourself and your loved ones will definitely see the difference. I can honestly say with my experience with substance abuse I have a whole different outlook on my disease and it’s because this facility has made a major impact on my life. I encourage those who are struggling to take a chance on this treatment center called Healthy living!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This program is truly one of a kind . I came here with my life in shambles, with no direction , and filled with guilt and shame due to my drug addiction . The medical team here safely detoxed me while I was coming off multiple drugs . I can’t express how grateful I am to have found this program . Fantastic experience: This place was God sent, after calling several places Emil called me back promptly helped my loved one get into this place immediately, they held the bed for him, the staff was amazing, nurse Barbara, Anita, Emil, all were the most warmest individuals. The therapist Ritza, has helped and continues to help my loved one. The chef made healthy meals, the place was comfortable for visitation, well mannered, all clients were the sweetest individuals. I was on my knees praying for my loved one and God answered my prayers, such a good support network, they were always in communication and compared to other places, Healthy Living does show that they care, they don’t just say it they’re kindness and understanding show it. I love you guys so much and again thank you for taking care of my man, he’s thriving and it’s all thanks to your help when I was losing hope. God bless you all!

Fantastic experience: Healthy living is a wonderful facility with amazing staff, a great cook and a team that truly cares and understands and takes their time to individually provide the things we need for a successful recovery. Each staff member, from the counselors to the medical professionals, and especially the owners brought a unique blend of expertise and compassion. They go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels supported and understood. I want to make a point to thank Emil and his family for being so considering to everyone’s personal needs. I personally came in with many complications and Emil made it his job to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Emil, Barbara, Anita, Miklo, Victor, Grace, Armando, and any staff I may have left out for being there for me. I have been to several facilities in the past and can attest that I have never felt so at home.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Healthy living treated me with so much care and support that you don't always receive at treatment centers. The home environment and great healthy meals were amazing. Most of all for me it was the people that work here, they really care along with their expertise.

Fantastic experience: I checked into Healthy Living on June 29th 2024. I came into the facility feeling completely hopeless and absolutely defeated. I had been to 3 rehabilitation facilities and 4 detoxes during the year prior. I didn't believe there was anything or anyone that could help me. I am leaving here today filled with gratitude and hope. Like I didn't think was possible. I received medical detox from opioid and alcohol withdrawal. Rosie and her support staff Barbara among others made my detox as comfortable and painless as possible during that time. I never at any time felt as though I was unattended or neglected. I was monitored and cared for with compassion at all times. Rosie as been treating my preexisting metal health condition with incredible, invested enthusiasm. I am actually getting better mentally every single day. Once I moved out of the detox phase of my treatment I moved into residential. The therapist Irwin and Ritsa worked with me during my stay to process all kinds of feelings and experiences that I really didn't even realize had been affecting me. So much so that I am continuing therapy after discharge because I see the importance. I did nerofeedback therapy with Melissa which helped me a lot with anxiety. Emil was always working with me on,not only the logistical side of things, but as to what felt like a friendship in a sense. Never hesitating to talk to me, hear me out, let me vent or just try and make things feel more comfortable. As a matter of fact at one point I almost left and he took time to rally around me as well as rallying others to help me work through my moment of distress to see that all was not lost and that I could still do this. It meant so so much. The support staff were always right there, to talk, to address my concerns, needs, or even to report what I needed when I wasn't sure what that was. Seriously I can't say enough good about this place. I feel, not cocky or that I have this, cause this is just the beginning of this whole journey, but I feel prepared. I feel hopeful and grateful.

Fantastic experience: Healthy Living has helped me tremendously in my recovery, by far it has been the best experience I've ever had in the institution field. All my needs were met in the 28 days that I was there. They have a solid team of professionals including a therapist, phycologist and a nurse team on site. I got a lot from the groups, I felt heard and attended both medically and spiritually. They have a private Chef that made sure we always had everything that we needed and beyond. The facility is clean and there was always a good positive vibe too. I worked out every day with the gym equipment, my favorite part of the day :) Very content with my after care plan , they took care of everything and made sure I made a smooth come back.

Fantastic experience: Healthy Living was by far the best recovery treatment program I’ve been to. I struggled with substance abuse for years and have been in and out of several programs from Northern to Southern California. I found something at Healthy Living that I had never found at another program; excellent treatment, amazing staff, comfortable detox and residential environment, extremely accommodating if you need anything from the outside, going on outings…the list goes on. The staff: Program director Ann, Emil, Megan, Amber, Haik, Irwin and the On site Chef are all there to support, love and encourage you when you think it’s not possible. These amazing individuals are like family to me now and I own the beautiful sober life I have today to them. Please, if you’re struggling, I encourage anyone to call this residential treatment program and watch the miracle happen, it happened to me and countless others and continues!

From the moment I pulled up, I was embraced by both and the program Director and.emeil The owner of Healthy Living. I was so scared and frightened, nervous, and apprehensive. But the moment they embraced to me and welcomed me with open arms, and no judgments, I completely broke down and began to cry. I cannot say enough about my experience at Healthy Living. Recovery is painful it’s It’s hard, very challenging and extremely difficult at moments but from the experience and knowledge from every aspect of Healthy Living made it completely understandable and such a delightful experience. From the doctors, nurses and Sandra, the wonderful nurse practitioner to the program Director Ann and the owners. Fantastic experience: This place changed my life. Staff is amazing and always there for the clients. I started working out every day there and seeing a therapist twice a week. They always made sure I was fed with some of the best food I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone, struggling with addiction or mental health.

Fantastic experience: First and for most if your at curious about what life would be like sober than Healthy Living is a great place to start. The family-oriented atmosphere fosters a sense of belonging, making it an exceptional place for healing and recovery. Through the daily discussion groups and the one-on-one counseling that I had received during my stay I left with not only the desire to stay sober but also a healthy, positive self-image and the tools to continue on and thrive in the real world.

I struggled with addiction and Mental health problems walking in, and the resources provided has given me a new path in life. None of this would have been possible Without the Amazing staff and support. Every single staff member treats you with so much respect and dignity. Fantastic experience: My first and only time (Lord willing) at a detox/rehabilitation facility. I hit rock bottom on a Tuesday, called Healthy Living and spoke with Ann C. and was checked in the very next day. I had assumptions about what it might be like – the facilities, the staff, the interactions with other addicts, the level of physical/emotional discomfort I would feel – and I could not have been more wrong. I was made to feel comfortable from the very first interaction. From there, my detox was as smooth as I could have hoped for. I loved the whole staff – from Ann to the counselors to the support staff to the chef (I would name them all but I’m afraid I may leave someone out) – and really can’t believe what a positive experience it was for me. They gave us the option of attending “off-site” AA and NA meetings and I believe the exposure I received to those meetings is what gave me the courage and comfort to attend and embrace AA once I left the facility. Healthy Living facility, their staff and the fellow addicts I met there (we’re still in a group chat together to this day) will never be forgotten and I am forever grateful. Special mention to the staff members I spent the most time with: Nick, Jenn, Amber - you're all rockstars.

Fantastic experience: Amazing facility, I came here twice and my favorite detox/residential in la. The staff are extremely helpful and really care. Anne the case manager helped me tremendously with an amazing after care plan and is a huge reason why I am sober today. I am forever grateful for this place.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at this recovery home. Great Admin, great staff. You could walk up to anybody, therapist, counselors, and staff. If they see you were struggling, they would come up to you and ask if you could talk for a while. It’s small and intimate with group sessions. You always get to speak your mind and the clients feedback is invaluable I got all their #s Ann is the person to reach out to. She cares, she really does, I hit rock bottom called her and she got me in on Xmas. In less than 24 hours, I said I need help, she said I will help you. She’s one of us. Most the staff are. If you think you hit rock bottom, come here and listen to their stories, to the therapist, to the doctors. They saved my life, different from the life I left. A sober life nonetheless.

They provide great resources for various cases to reach sobriety and help with any issues or circumstances you might have. Including therapy sessions. Fantastic experience: First and foremost this is by far the best detox / residential facility I have ever been to and the one that has had the greatest impact on my life. I have struggled with addiction since a very young age and have been to multiple facilities with no true impact. The reason I say this is by far the best I have attended is because you can truly feel the care and love all the staff members have for your well-being and recovery. It’s more of a family feeling than an institution where all you are is $$. Without the guidance and assistance of Ann. C, Emil and all the other staff there I wouldn’t be where I am today. I was given tools no other jail, prison or rehab has ever given me resources to better my life ( the DOR) which has enabled me to return to school and set me on the course to success. I am not only enrolled to become a substance abuse counselor but I am currently working as a registered addiction technician and able to assist people who are struggling the way I have struggled with the same love and compassion I was shown in hopes of giving back and changing lives the way mine was changed. Healthy Living is a blessing truly and probably one of the only places were not only the staff with go out of there way to help you / brighten your day but you will constantly see the owner who will also treat you like family. Not only do I have so much respect and love for this place but my family does too. For the life that I was given. If you or your family member or a loved one is struggling I pray that you will send them to this facility. Thank you again Ann , Emil, Vardan , Jen, Nick , Luca , Kat and everyone else there. I’m so grateful for all your time , energy and love you showed me, my family and cats since the day we met. You truly made me feel like a part of the family. Fantastic experience: I spent 2 months at this facility and I can honestly say it was an amazing experience !!! I’ve been to other rehabs in the past but this one definitely beats them all.the staff were amazing I can’t even thank my case manager enough (Ann cano) for everything she did during my stay from talking to me about my problems or just being there for me on my bad days if you’re thinking about going to a rehab facility look no further this place is beyond amazing

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful detox/rehab! It’s rather small, which makes it very comfortable, and efficient. All the staff (especially Megan Foster, Ann C., & Jenny M). were incredible. They were all so caring, giving & attentive to all my needs…. You have a lot of freedom there which makes it magnificent. The group discussions, one on one counseling, yoga, and even massages differentiated it from all the others I have witnessed. I highly recommend this place. It’s a nice safe haven!

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to put into words the effect that this place and the people that work there have had on my life. I came there in a low place both physically and mentally. I was met with an environment of safety and acceptance. It hasn’t been as easy road. To this day I still have my counselors/friends that I can depend on for support and guidance. I love everyone there. Ann and Jenny in particular. They have picked me up and put me back together when I needed it most. When I need a laugh, some tough love or encouragement I know I have a place to call.

Fantastic experience: I just left Heathy Living Residential Program after 30 days and would like to thank all of the staff for being so kind and professional. Ann Cano, was especially helpful getting me into an intensive outpatient facility where I am continuing to build my "tool box" to deal with the problems that life deals us. I now have 36 days clean and sober and again a big thank you to, Ann, Jenny, Julio, Efren, JP, Luca, Destiny and Jasmine as well as the rest of the staff. I learned something from everyone including my fellow patients.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful I chose healthy living for many reasons. First I want to share my addiction and my experience at healthy living, in hopes it will help someone else battling with opiate addiction. I was prescribed opiates for 12 years and its been a viscous cycle for many years, where I was feeling sick taking them and even sicker if I ran out.”Dope Sick” and because of an underlying health issue, I was scared of going through detox. “Rest assured it is a safe and comfortable detox” Thank you Dr Narine. I really enjoyed the residential living part of my stay. The vibe in the is very chill and plenty of things to do with your free time. This facility has a personal chef “Chef Luca” who prepares 3 meals a day and Lucas energy is infectious. Thank you Luca! Shoutout to Emil who is an awesome guy to chat with. Thank you Emil! From counseling with Nate, private therapy sessions with Siomara and Maria and the evening group sessions with the techs were incredibly helpful to my path of recovery. Thanks again to the entire staff at healthy living for changing my life.

Fantastic experience: Healthy Living has been a blessing and the best support system that I’ve found,, through my struggle with alcoholism. I attended in October 2021 and went back in December for a reset. They welcomed me back with open loving arms. I didn’t stick to my plans for after care. And I can say now I’m making better changes. The staff, who all have become family and loving friends. Anne has a heart of gold, Emil is the most caring soul, Varden and medical staff are compassionate and never were there an amount of judgment. They are always concerned with my well being and with other clients. Their sole intentions and compassion are always with their clients. Everyone have been treated with respect and dignity. Till this day, I can call and always be guaranteed with support. The after care that they do provide and has helped over the months. It has helped me feel a sense is worthiness and feel connection and security with fellow friends. I have loved all the steps during my recovery. It can takes days,, months, and or years. So I’m very appreciative and blessed to have this experience, Big shout out ti Anne, Nate, Siomarta, Varden, Emil, Ben, Supia, Tom, Kat, Jennifer ( Jennie) and last person but not the least, my love Luca! Fantastic experience: I’d like to start off by saying Healthy Living saved my life! I was welcomed into the facility November 19, 2021 and left 30 days later. Between the support which made me feel like family and the compassion of Emil, Tom and Varden saved my life. The Therpist Samora, helped me see why I was drinking so much. The staff Anne, Nate Brandon, Benny, Kay, Jennifer , Sophia and last but not least Luca brought me in and took me under their wings with warm and loving arms I couldn’t have made it. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience here. I was provided with a positive and encouraging environment, leading to me being more willing to start facing and doing unfamiliar things to help me progress. Felt like a family environment, and was welcomed when I first came in. I could tell off the bat how positive everyone there was which is unusual for me to see in these types of programs. Ann would always enter through the door bringing uplifting energy, but she also is serious on her work which is admiring to see that you can do both! She will help you out as much as she can as long as you are willing and taking your recovery serious. She will tell you the hard truths and listen to what you have to say, her honesty was essential to my recovery. Also Jenny! She cares for every client and will take time to listen to you if you are feeling distressed and help guide you along an answer to navigate through your distress. She will reach out to you if she sees you are not feeling well, and is very good at detecting that lol. She also will help you with things you need or need to accomplish. Overall my experience was a very good one I had my bad days as expected but was willing to work through them and challenge myself regardless because of the environment and energy I was surrounded with. Sophia was also a great staff member but she worked mostly overnights but was a great person to be around and talk to. Nate was also a stepping stone in my recovery challenging me to dig deeper. The piece of mind you have knowing there are two board certified physicians on board is just exceeding all expectations. Fantastic experience: This is the best residential healthy living ever , this place goes above and beyond . 24/7 doctors , physicians, yoga at your disposal . Vandon and the staff are very helpful .this is my 3 rd time in a place like this and I’ve never been to a place like this with so much to offer . The chef here Luca goes above and beyond to cater to your needs and will cook you what ever you want . Everyday we had fresh fruits oatmeal and omelet bar . I had a Psychiatrist and personal driver for what ever I wanted . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get the help they need , with a more one on one approach .

Negative experience: Hi guys, I thought coming to healthy living, I would be in good hands. But that wasn’t the case. You can tell that these people were only interested in my insurance money. The people that work there are very cold and made me feel very uncomfortable. If you or someone you love struggle with addiction, I would suggest finding a different place. They are awful and I think more people should know about their lack of respect towards people with addiction.

Fantastic experience: Healthy living changed my life. I could not have asked for a more welcoming, friendly, and helpful treatment center to guide me towards recovery. From the second I arrived I was welcomed in by staff, Ann. Ann made sure I was comfortable with other staff and clients to make me feel at home as possible. Throughout my whole treatment Ann made sure I was happy and successful through this process. Other staff including Jenny, Sophia and Emil provided support and helped myself and other clients learn the tools we can use to recover and continue our sobriety. Fantastic experience: Healthy Living Showed me a new way and gave me a new hope. I walk in their doors a broken man and walked out feeling like I could take on the world. Through the groups the fellowship the therapy yoga just everything they had to offer helped me through my recovery. I am so thankful for every single staff member there that helped me be a better me. Anne,Nate, and Jenny were my biggest mentors they truly understood my situation and always listened and gave me there full attention when I was venting and telling my story. They always gave me their opinion and always kept it 100% with me which I respect. They are amazing people and I will cherish their friendships for life. Emil is an awesome person, he was the first person I spoke to the day I called Healthy Living to get everything set up for me to check in to the day I actually checked in the whole time he would call and make sure I was good and I thought that was awesome. The morning I called him to check in to Healthy Living he really was a big part getting me there. Throughout the day he kept checking in to make sure I was coming and just to make sure I was all right all the way up to the time I walk into the door I will always be thankful for that and will always respect that man for that. Sophia and the rest of the Healthy Living staff were amazing at really making sure you were alright and always making sure you had everything you needed. Healthy Living was an amazing program, it really helped me in my recovery and I will always cherish the support and the tools and the knowledge that you guys taught me, but most importantly the friendship, because at Healthy Living it is 100% family. Fantastic experience: I toured the facility a few days before checking in and met the staff. I was very comfortable with everything and checked in May 10th. I was put through a 2 week detox and weened off during the second week. This place gave me a second chance at life. It is a residential home with a two bedroom guest house which is where I stayed. Chef Luca cooks 3 meals a day and is such a kind soul. I can not say enough about this place. Vardan, Heidi, Nate, Nick, Chanel, Kat, Candy were all so awesome and helpful throughout my 30 days they really care. They have 3 group sessions a day one of them being with a therapist Siomara who I love to death such a great therapist. Also they have yoga and therapy with Tara Conner who has a ton of sobriety behind her and is wonderful as well. I learned a new way of thinking and living thanks to Healthy Living. My marriage has never been better and I am enjoying life again. If you are struggling with addiction I highly recommend this place. I stop by every now and then because they all have become like family and I miss them. Special shout out to Ahmel who is the son of the owner. We would chat all the time and he became my friend such a great guy. Thank you to everyone at Healthy Living you changed my life.

Fantastic experience: I believe that I did not end up here by accident when I recently relapsed while in another program.I felt a lot of shame & guilt & was about to give up, then by accident I talked with a woman named Heidi, the director at Healthy Living she sounded so concerned for my well being I decided to try one more time. From the moment I arrived at Healthy living I knew that this place was different It only took a couple of days for me to truly trust these people. I finally after years of searching for help found a program that I can truly say” I trust.”From the first day I felt no judgment, I was relaxed , there’s so much love & compassion from everyone you are not alone here they go above and beyond what other programs in CA offer these people truly care. They all work so hard to make sure that you are treated with respect , and that all of the needs of each patient individually are supported by all that work here. These people are amazing ,they saved my life. I leave here with hope, no stone left unturned a very excellent program and I very much want to say thank you to the staff at this facility for everything. You are amazing men & women and each and everyone of you are a part of my recovery and will be in my prayers for the rest of my life. Fantastic experience: Healthy Living did wonders for me and my mental health! Located in San Clarita, the facility gives an at-home environment and feel. I was able to work on my mental health within a group setting, as well as my addict behaviors. The techs were amazing, both Jenny M. and Ann C.were very dedicated with helping me feel better and both warmed my heart with their compassionate and very strong work ethic. Nate, the case manager brought positivity everyday with his smile and daily encouragement. Heidi, program director, put all of her clients first and did everything in her power to help me and even went above and beyond excellence.
