Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best rehabilitation center there is when we got here mom couldn't see or walk and she is walking out today and they are a blessing every person who works here is a special gift from God if you want a true blessing this is the place to go

Fantastic experience: From the day I arrived at Encompass it was a perfectly wonderful facility. While there it was my opinion that they had the employees drink happy juice because every employee who worked with me from the nurse/tech teams to all the therapists and techs to the dietary department and facility workers were ALWAYS knowledgeable, friendly and kind with a smile on their face. I had Speech, Occupational and Physical therapy. The therapists always worked me hard but they had me try the next thing so I had a goal. I cannot say enough good things about Encompass and I HIGHLY recommend this facility!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This is the best rehabilitation facility. It gives you hope and inspires you to do your best everyday to get stronger. They have the best staff ever- ALL staff are amazing. I’ve never met somewhere where everyone here is amazing. It’s almost not nature how great everyone is. They push you to be the best version of yourself and I want to tell you about Morrison. She’s the best therapist. She will motivate you to get up even when you’re tired. She works you hard and never makes you feel hopeless. She is very good at her job and always keeps you smiling and laughing. Never depressed here, with this facility keeping your mind positive. I’m prepared to go home and so thankful and know I can’t slack because I’ll hear Morrison in my mind telling me to slow down and keep going strong. If you were hard headed like me, you need Morrison and Jennifer to tag team you to keep you going in Physical Therapy and Madison worked so hard with me on my left hand after my stroke. I might tease about not wanting to go but I truly love it here. Thank y’all so much! I’m so thankful!

Fantastic experience: So proud of the hard work my mother put in while her time at Encompass!!! She had the BEST team helping her to improve her strength so that she could come home stronger and safer after her total hip replacement! She was extremely deconditioned and weak waiting for this surgery to happen and they Kristen, her PT, was so kind and patiently gentle while working with her to get her to the point where she was able to return home safely!!! Not sure what I’d do without her and this incredible team, to be there supporting her and working with her day in and day out!!!!! Kristen Morrison … you are absolutely AMAZING! The absolute BEST physical therapist EVER!!!! Randal needs to give you a raise!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I couldn’t be happier with the care she received at this AMAZING facility! If anyone is ever in need of rehabilitation services… Encompass Savannah is definitely the place of choice!!!! 10 of out 10!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional building, environment and staff! The rooms, the food, and therapy all meet your accommodations. I built wonderful relationships with medical, non-medical staff, and many of the patients. They helped me meet the needs required of my injuries and improve the short time I was there. I look forward in going back to visit the therapist, chef, nursing staff, tech staff, and the many others to share with them how much I've progressed thanks to their help and motivation.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is extremely helpful and very kind. The nurses and staff answer my call lights immediately. I sleep very well here and my pain has been managed. I love the therapy department. They are very good and make it alot of fun. Its alot of work but work very minute of it. is worth it. I love getting to know the other patients and being able to socialize. Robin the NP makes round every morning and explains everything so well. I appreciate what everyone has done for me.

Fantastic experience: I have never stayed at a facility where everyone and I mean everyone had a great attitude. The food was excellent, it didn’t taste like processed food. It was very healthy. The physical therapist and occupational therapist were very patient. I’m getting through everyday living with little help even though I’m in a wheelchair.. Fantastic experience: My mama had the pleasure of being an inpatient at this facility after a hip fracture and surgery. The care she received was just top notch!! From the front desk at arrival, nurses & techs on the care unit and all the therapy team - PT, OT, & ST. All the Food Services staff were so sweet to her and Environmental was very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone I know. I completely trust them. They’ve called us after discharged once we got home to check on my mom and make sure she’s doing good with her at home physical therapy

The therapist aren't painful but work you hard to get better to go home. The nursing staff has been angels as well. Thank you for taking care of me. Fantastic experience: They are friendly, helpful, and the food is delicious! Matt and Ludy are both wonderful. I've had Ludy before and first time with Matt. They are truly great at their job. The nurses have stayed on top of my pain medicine to help with my back ache. This is great place for therapy and I have encouraged others to come here as well!

Positive experience: Great atmosphere! Most of the staff really care bout the patients the pt and ot staff really work hard to get patients where they need to be before they leave. Some of the nurses need better listening ears and bedside manor other than that my experience was 7/10

Everyone from the front desk to the nursing staff, OT, Speech and especially, PT was wonderful. Even the kitchen chef and staff were great!

Negative experience: My mom was sent to Encompass from Candler Hospital after breaking 4 bones in her foot. We were told by the physical therapist that she walked 70 steps in a shoe at her first therapy treatment but after 3 days she couldn’t put any weight on that foot at all. Her pain was severe but they did little to manage it. She left Encompass in more pain and walking even less than when she was admitted. Not a good experience.

Negative experience: The patient suffered from a compacted colon and agonizing spasms over two weeks ; the treatment was muscle relaxants and Tramadol that succeeded in sedating the patient but prolonged the acute suffering day after day. The treatment also did not allow for the physical and occupational therapy which are the sole purpose for admission. Once the time limit for insurance purposes was met , the patient was being discharged despite his worsening condition . Bottom line: LESS CARE , MORE GREED as far as this patient was concerned. For bloody shame!

Positive experience: I appreciate the staff for all that they do for my care. I truly appreciate the nurse who wheeled me around during holidays to meet other patients that had things in common. Everyone was very nice and dedicated to keeping me on schedule throughout my stay. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: While, this place isn’t perfect. It certainly helped my dad after his hip surgery. We didn’t expect him to be released in a week. We expected him to be there 14 days, but they really worked with him to get him comfortable enough to do everything on his own, he can do all things that he normally does even though he still has a walker. Soon he will be strong enough to just use a cane then hopefully no assistance. We hope to see him back walking 3 miles a day soon. My only complaint is the missing communication between the doctors, the caseworker and my mother and my sisters. They may have spoken to my dad, but my dad is hard of hearing and probably didn’t hear half the information they were telling him. So I would just like to have had more communication. We didn’t realize he was progressing as well as he was and when they told us he was ready to go home we were shocked. Then we had to scramble to make arrangements because he’s not from SAVANNAH. We had to get him back to Florida. All in all it worked out and my dad is home and on his way to a full recovery. Highly recommend this place And dad said the food was very good.

Negative experience: Great experience with this facility for the last 9 1/2 days. 10th day during discharged day service went to hell. My aunt spent rehab at this facility. The staff was amazing. During leaving the facility, my aunt had the opportunity to walk out or be wheeled out. She choice to walk out (1:00pm) suddenly. On the back of the wheelchair was all my aunts paperwork. We realized we left it so we called and they stated that housekeeping already trashed it her paperwork. We called and left several messages on Amber voicemail asking her to give us a call. We also remembered that they did not tell us what pharmacy they called my aunt meds to. Once I was able to reach a supervisor (Kathy) she did her best in trying to assist us not to mention she informed me that the meds was called into Mosaic in VIRGINIA!!!!!! How did they come up with VIRGINIA is beyond my imagination!!! Kathy did try to call the pharmacy Walgreen on Derenne. Unfortunately the pharmacy was not able to fill her prescriptions last night. I told Kathy to please call CVS in Pooler, GA so that we can get all my aunts meds in the morning. Well, here I am at CVS!!! NO MEDS!!! I called emcompass and spoke with Supervisor Beverly (nurse) what such nasty disposition she displayed over the phone. I'm now trying to reach the director but unfortunately I not getting an answer. All I'm wanting is my aunts prescriptions to continue her recovery. #StayInRehabToGetGreatService

Fantastic experience: During my stay (13 days), i received the tools, training and strength training i needed to be comfortable going home. The nurses and Techs were amazing and i simply cannot say enough about the Therapist and Case Managers. I hope i never need to go through rehab again, but if needed I wouldn’t even consider going any place else. Thank you all for helping me get back my independence.

Fantastic experience: This facility is awesome! We would say it’s the Cadillac of Rehab facilities. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. The therapists are always on time and experts in their field. If they say you have an 8am physical therapy session it begins promptly at 8am. No waiting and wondering. State of the art therapy gym. The food is good and always on time. Not to mention this is the cleanest and most beautiful facility ever! We give it a10 out of 10 and would recommend Encompass in Savannah to anyone needing therapy!

Positive experience: My wife was admitted to Encompass in Savannah in Dec.2023. I had hoped for her to go to the one in Okatie as we live near Hilton Head. This location turned out to be the BEST possible. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. When she was admitted she could hardly move her legs. She was to stay three weeks instead of two due to the intervention of two doctors and the encouragement of staff members. The equipment at Encompass has to be seen to be believed, from rubber bands to ceiling mounted slings. When she released they provided the necessary equipment for her to continue her rehabilitation at home. She can now walk short distances (75-100 ft.) on her own and is improving weekly. We are especially grateful to Matt, Butch and Jewel for their efforts on our behalf. ....the four stars (only) are due to the trouble they were having in the food service area. In total, Encompass is definitely the place we recommend.

Fantastic experience: Real good places for rehjabilition. Pre yourself for a good workout. Every days is 3 hours of pt or ot, (physical or occupational training). Go there with positive set of mind, to get better. The people there are very friendly. Good luck!

Fantastic experience: Best choice for inpatient rehabilitation in the Savannah area. Very professional. Very courteous. I was here with a double knee replacement in 2018 and it was my go to choice for TBI recovery in 2024. The staff are outstanding!

Negative experience: The nursing staff were amazing, but everything else was horrible. I will never go back to this place. I will find anywhere else but here.
