CORA Physical Therapy Midtown

Fantastic experience: The therapists kept a detailed plan of my progress and the different exercises that worked for me. It was also great to have a main therapist, but also be able to work with different therapists' styles and learn from them all. The atmosphere was always friendly and supported motivation and progress. I can feel significant improvements in my daily life with fewer restrictions from my physical concerns; I've also learned what I can do on my own to keep up my strength and ease any discomfort that arises due to my chronic condition. If I somehow unfortunately need PT in the future, I will absolutely push for a referral to CORA Midtown Savannah with my doctor. Thanks a quadrillion for your site's extraordinary administration and therapists!

Fantastic experience: The therapists at CORA Midtown have been so amazing for me! They were able to help me with two physical therapy complaints back to back: one a chronic injury that they significantly improved, and then with an acute injury as well. For both therapy engagements, they were very motivating, but also pushed me to actually do the exercises to achieve a better health outcome. The team there is knowledgeable, friendly,, accessible and willing to go the extra mile!

Not only are they super knowledgable in what they share with me about my condition and my body, but they are the most kind, gentle, and positive therapist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I actually found out that I live closer to another CORA location however, I can not leave this Midtown location because of the team here. I appreciate as a patience how they have made me feel comfortable and encouraged in each visit. Even on the days I come in feeling as I am facing a set back, they find a way to shine light on how we will work through it together and focus on what is bothering me in that visit. Every time I leave my appointment I feel more and more confident. I genuinely recommend the Midtown CORA location for anyone seeking physical therapy no matter the reason of your visit. The staff here is very welcoming and seeking to have you excel!

Fantastic experience: I was a student training here for a few months and the clinic is amazing! The therapists are wonderful and truly do their best to make you feel welcome and treat you with kindness and expertise during your therapy! I wouldn’t have wanted to train under anyone else! I am a practicing therapist now and I still refer friends and patients to CORA!!

Positive experience: I’ve spent a great deal of time at CORA due to two injuries. I was treated with nothing but respect and felt the PT’s did an excellent job. You can tell the staff they are like a family, therefore it’s a positive and uplifting environment for all who walk through the doors. I will not hesitate to see Mary or Elizabeth again (although I hope I do not have to—and remain injury free) Shoutout to Katie at the front desk as well for scheduling my appts when I was forgetful.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Cora PT Midtown Savannah! I was recovering from shoulder surgery (torn rotator cuff and partial bicep). Decided to finish up my PT out of state and it was a seamless process to transfer to Cora Health. Tripp, Chad, Katie, Amanda and the rest of the staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. Tripp's evaluation was on point and working with Chad throughout my recovery process was a great experience. I'm an avid tennis player and part-time coach so Chad focused on flexibility, strength and stamina. The exercises were fun and challenging. I enjoyed coming to the office for PT but also liked the MedBridge Go app at home to work my exercises. Since working with the team at Cora Health Midtown Savannah, my progress sped up dramatically. The last two months of estimated PT was reduced and I was released early and playing tennis again. Great team, knowledgable, accommodating, convenient location, ample parking. I appreciate everything Tripp, Chad and the staff has done. Thanks for getting me back on the tennis court!

Negative experience: Would give a 0 if I could. I received and evaluation and was emailed exercises from this office over a year ago (October 2021) and just received an additional bill in the mail (January 2023). I have called their billing office dozens of times, emailed, and to no available. I explained that was not what happened and I had paid in full that day and they just keep saying they don’t know and not returning calls or emails. I am repeatedly told that since no one works there from the time I was evaluated there’s no way for them to know what happened. The evaluation was mediocre at best but the billing process is so obscenely ridiculous I would tell anyone I could to not go. Absolutely unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Tripp was an amazing physical therapist. He took me from daily pain to giving me the tools to do stretches and exercises at home to get rid of a sore back when it begins. Could not recommend enough. Friendly staff and highly qualified therapists! 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Back in November 2020 I was injured on the job. Once I was able to start physical therapy; they were the company I chose to go with. The reviews were excellent and now from experiencing in person. They are great! Brooke is my therapist and she worked me back to full duty status. She worked me hard, but it was a good hard. My time with this place is almost finished. Definitely she'll work you into shape.

Fantastic experience: Michelle and Matt were extrodianary with my recovery process, and I am so much better with my shoulder, all the exercise help me to recover in a timely fashion, thanks to cora therapy I would recommend everyone who’s had rotator cuff surgery here.

The process of knee replacement surgerys been quite a load, but Cora is keeping everything intact, from my very first appointment until now, my experience with Matt, Michelle, Jen & everyone has been beyond anything I expected. Professional, informative, detailed, & consistent. I don't know what I would've done without Matt Michelle & Jen. If you have the need for physical therapy, I highly recommend Cora Midtown, they are caring, always polite to everyone, & they won't stop until they get you back to 100 percent. They are wonderful therapists to work with and I am glad to have been sent to them for my therapy. Fantastic experience: Five Star Experience! From setting the appointment (and IMMEDIATELY receiving text message confirmation) this staff works like a well oiled machine. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. The receptionist, Michelle (I'm pretty sure she is the Office Manager without an attitude!) is very friendly, smart, engaging and super effective. She was expecting me and knew me by name when I entered the office! John, the Physical Therapist (Degreed Kinesiologist)--JUST AWESOME! I've never encountered a person who took their job/career so seriously as he does. He is TOTALLY INTO what he does! He was super thorough and explained everything with detail. I told him, and I intend to do so: Use him as a model and try to treat my career as seriously as he does! Super experience. Michelle is AWESOME! John is AWESOME!. He is a kinesiologist - the real deal.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with Dr. Matthew Merritt and Ms. Michelle, the Office Manager. They were courteous and professional. They also accepted my TriCare Humana Military Insurance. As a military retiree, it can be difficult to get service off the base. My co-pay was $30.00. I had a possible right shoulder inpingment that had me on painkillers for a few months. However, after a couple of sessions, with Dr. Merritt I was off the drugs. He worked around my hectic schedule to ensure I got the treatment that I needed and gave me exercises to do at home. After a about a dozen sessions I have regained almost 80% mobility and I am pain free. Thank you! Dr. Michael J. Laney, Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs, Savannah State University.
