Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this wonderful team of encouraging, dedicated professionals. Their accurate communication with me and the team was key to assure continuity of my treatment plan. Lots of hard work resulted in increased strength, mobility and no more pain. I feel energized and confident about staying with the plan independently to further improve. My only recommendation is to install window coverings as it is stifling in the summer and depending on the sun’s location it can be blinding.

Fantastic experience: This Cora Facility is really amazing! I worked with Kayla and she is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I feel like a different person from when I began with my neck pain. I now have recovered completely, and know how to manage it! I am even able to get back into running like I used to. Kayla taught me ways to approach my running to avoid injury. She wants you not only to heal but teaches you how to improve daily activities. This experience was so valuable and could not recommend her more! I am very grateful for the team at Cora. Katie and Ben are also really helpful and wonderful. I worked with both of them on some of the visits, as well. They all care about their patients and know what they are doing. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Cora gave me my quality of life back! I am so grateful! With stenosis of my cervical spine, i was miserable when i first went to them. That pain was complicated by pain s/p a torn rotator cuff repair. The staff executed a treatment plan that incorporated both my neck and shoulder. I am back to playing tennis and enjoying life again! What a great team! Thanks, Kayla and Madison for my intro to dry needling!!

Fantastic experience: Kayla Culleny and the team at Cora are the absolute best! The professionalism, knowledge, and service you get at the Islands location is second to none! I am the manager of a local run store in Savannah, and an avid runner who unfortunately has encountered some injuries the last 4 years! Kayla and her team are one of the, if not the biggest reason, I have stayed on the roads!! Kayla CARES, is not looking to keep you as a patient just for the money! No, they wanna see you get healthy and for me back on the roads running!! I also love having access to the app, where I am able to stay on top of my exercises at home or in the gym!! 5 STAR EXPERIENCE!!

Fantastic experience: Cora on the islands was a wonderful place to have PT near me. All the Dr.s and techs were very helpful and patient. The students they had there were also excellent. Everyone worked you as hard as you're able and knew when to ease off a little if you were having a bad day. The results have been as best as I could hope for.

Fantastic experience: I was a student at CORA Islands during summer 2023, and I couldn’t have had a better experience! I learned so much from each member of the team. I will use the knowledge I gained in my future career as a practicing therapist. I truly feel like there is no one that will be able to compete with this clinic! I would highly recommend CORA Islands for patients, and I would recommend it as a clinical rotation for PT students. I will forever be grateful for the people and experience at this clinic!!

Fantastic experience: The Islands office is hands down the BEST! Everyone was so kind, helpful, and engaging! This office kept me on track so I could progress quickly from an injury and get back to the game I love! Not only have I healed up, I now have home exercises to prevent a re-injury and strengthen my performance. Thank you Islands team!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at Spine and Sport. I was referred to them after a car accident. The staff was very professional and the service was awesome. The treatment was top notch and the doctors really took care of me. They used basic exercises to help me heal and always had a smile when I walked through the door.

Fantastic experience: When you find a good therapist you stick with them and I believe I found the good ones here from walking into the door and being greeted by Jaris to Kayla, Katie, Madison, John Michael and Miranda. This is my second round and once a total critic of pt they have helped me realize and understand how important it is to keep up on exercises and the mechanics of every day life and work to continue to feel good and happy in life. Super shout out to John Michael who had to put up with me for the most part this time and Katie who did last the last time.(different injuries fyi) . They pushed me the perfect amount to get things done while being completely aware if something was too much. It takes a complete team to create the supportive , fun environment that they have and you can't go wrong with anybody you work with here. Thanks to each and every one of you.

I have a complete knee replacement - when I came in the 1st time I was walking with a cane - now after almost 6 weeks I can walk 3 miles. My therapist, Maranda, is OUTSTANDING!! I all my progress to her. I will definitely recommend Cora to others

This is my third time I have had to get physical therapy over the past 5 years, each time at Cora’s islands office. I highly recommend this specific group. Everyone I have worked with is terrific, but special thanks go out to Dr. Kayla and APT Andrew who went out of their way to help me overcome my foot issues. Many thanks to all of you.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful environment to have therapy at, the staff and the therapists enjoy what they do and get along so well together. The exercises were hard to begin with, but with encouragement from the therapists they added challenges which made it fun. The back massages from Andrew at the end of the session made it all worthwhile.

Fantastic experience: I saw the team at Cora on the Islands for pelvic floor therapy after having my daughter. There aren’t enough words to say how wonderful this team is! First off, they made it so easy to come to appointments while having a newborn. The ladies up front would keep an eye on my babe and cared for and doted on her while mama worked on recovery. Not only did the PT Team address my pelvic floor, they made my workouts like those at Orangetheory, knowing my goal was to return to that level of exercise. By the end of my session, I was confident to hit the gym again, pelvic floor problems had been worked out and overall felt better about my postpartum self. I recommend PT to all of my pregnant & postpartum friends. Aside from addressing my issues, it was really great peace of mind easing back into working out, under the supervision of someone making sure I wasn’t going to hurt myself. On top of all that, the ladies are so great and people I could see myself being friends with! I think about stopping by just to say hi!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to PT for some neck issues and chose Cora Physical Therapy Islands due to the convenience. However, since coming here, I realize I found a gem. From the front desk staff to the therapists, they are all wonderful. They call you by name and the therapy itself has been very helpful. I would highly recommend them for any therapy that you may need.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing therapy for my back and to prepare for knee replacement. My main therapist was Madison and occasionally Katie. Both of them are amazing. They are encouraging but not pushy. They have gotten me to a point that my back is much better. My at home exercises will keep me progressing. I am ready for my knee to be done and I will be back for post surgery therapy. Also, a nice word for Nico and Megan who kept my appointments up to date and at my preferred time.

Fantastic experience: The staff at CORA Physical Therapy Islands is amazing! I was able to pick my appointments with ease and appreciate the reminder texts. The Therapists are very professional and knowledgeable and explained each exercise and stretch. They corrected my form and helped me continually stay on task and get the most out of each movement. Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from lower back pain and sciatic pain that was bringing me to tears for several years. Not wanting to go to a specialist, I decided to try physical therapy first. I was nervous about going since I had never been. In my 60’s, I wasn’t use to putting myself out there in front of strangers. What I learned quickly was that the staff and other clients weren’t strangers. After 2 months of going there twice weekly, I was amazed at how much better I had started feeling. The pain was slowing going away. My exercises started easy and gradually increased in difficulty. I learned to also laugh at myself for the things I couldn’t do but determined to master. Well I couldn’t master everything but gave it the old college try. By the time I had finished there, I noticed I was walking out with a pep in my step and a whole new attitude towards everything. I truly loved going there and really miss it. Update: I am almost pain free now. I continued with the exercises I learned and added others as I got stronger. I do my exercises an hour a day and and stretches before bed. It has become my favorite part of the day. Perfect time to ease stress. I turn on my music a little loud and begin. Then if “that one song” comes on, I take my music to my room, close the door, and dance. ( Door closed because I truly can’t dance). It’s a good short cardio exercise and a lot of fun. It will lighten your heart, lift your spirit, and allow you to really be a little silly and free. My core and back, everywhere else too, are stronger than they have been in decades. If I start having pain, like standing over the kitchen sink for an extended time, I now have the knowledge and tools needed to take care of it. I know when I’m doing daily activities in the wrong way and shift my body to correct it. I want the staff to know that they gave me back life. I feel light on my feet with a pep in my step. I smile and hold my head up high (and body). My self esteem came back, along with a little attitude . If ever needed, I will always go back to my Cora Team at Islands. Thank you team for guiding me through all the pain and teaching me how to manage it myself. Thank you for giving me a new and improved outlook on life and a pep in my step . Most importantly, thank you for giving me back ME. I will never forget all of you!

Negative experience: This review is based on the pricing/billing of Cora, not their therapists or facility. I was charged over $400 per visit for treatment of a torn meniscus. While you might expect highly personalize treatment for that price, the visits consisted of a therapist bouncing between three patients. It was certainly not worth the amount I was being charged.

They are patient and kind, yet they know when to push and encourage patients when they need it the most. If you become a patient here, you will not regret it for one moment. Fantastic experience: I have had 3 visits to CORA Physical Therapy Islands and each visit was wonderful. The PTs are wonderful, professional, caring and very understanding. They don't push you to exceed your ability to do the exercises, but they do encourage every step of the way. I truly enjoy coming for my therapy.

Fantastic experience: My thanks to the wonderful staff at Cora on Jazie Drive on Wilmington Island, I could not have asked for a better therapy team. A sprained knee ligament (possibly torn) lead to knee replacement. Cora was there pre surgery and the critical post surgery PT. Dr. Kent Woo was extremely pleased with the results Dr Kayla Pope was able to achieve. My thanks to the entire staff; Katie in therapy and Megan and Niko running the front. I will miss you all. They have enabled me to enjoy full use of my new knee!

You all are the best and I would recommend you to anyone in need of PT.before or after surgery treatment. Well I am back to Cora again for my stiff neck. Once again they are all amazing my neck is much better and next I want them to help me with my sciatica! They are a much better answer for me than surgery!!!! THANKS TO THE WHOLE STAFF AND Dr. Kayla's help!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been attending PT here for around a month or so and the difference is definitely notable, having had 8 shots in my back for the arthritis helped but not nearly as much as Dr Holley and her staff. They are friendly courteous and professional.

Fantastic experience: I was having issues with my legs and balance and my neurologist recommended Cora to help with the pain and walking issues I was having. The girls at the front desk are all friendly and professional. There are a variety of machines that the doctors work with you on to gain strength and balance. I have been making a lot of improvement and if I ever needed Physical Therapy again, this is where I would come because the Doctor here are great.

Fantastic experience: I am an old 77 year old woman who had done no exercise for a long time and had many balance issues. I had fallen 3 times in the last 3 months and knew I needed help. They tested me and decided on the best exercises for my problems and have been so patient, caring, and attentive. I have worked with all of them. They are so encouraging. I feel I can get better and be strong again.

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 great experiences with CORA. I first came to them for my knee. The CORA physical therapists all agreed that my hip was really my problem. I told the orthopedics who agreed after x-rays and I have been feeling GREAT ever since my full right hip replacement! The CORA team knows what they're doing.

Fantastic experience: Thank you, Cora on Whitemarsh Island! Recovery after surgery is paramount for every patient. Your Staff is both warm and professional. They're very attentive and knowledgeable. The space is bright, open and completely equipped. I cannot imagine a more perfect facility or Staff to recover with, after an injury or surgery.

Fantastic experience: Back in March I was in a pretty bad car accident. I broke both my left foot and my right ankle which left me in a wheelchair for 3 months. I began my journey learning to walk again and the first place was just awful. Then I found CORA. They have the Alter G Treadmill which allowed me to walk almost weightless while learning to be weight bearing again, the doctors and staff are fantastic, they have a very clean facility with a huge variety of machines and equipment. They do hands on, massage, and more depending on the needs of the individual and I've never had to wait. Over all a very enjoyable experience and results just keep coming. I totally recomend CORA physical therapy to anyone in pain!

Fantastic experience: When I was having trouble with my ankle I talked to Katie on the phone and she made scheduling an appointment easy. On the day of my appointment Kira was very welcoming at the front desk and took me right back. I highly recommend Kayla, she was kind and caring and gave me multiple exercises and stretches to do at home to strengthen my ankle and now I am pain free!

I didn’t know a therapist could tell you way more than a image could! I never had to get a mri and here I am pain free Thank you Katie for explaining it to me on the phone and Chris zinn for helping me! Y’all rock

Fantastic experience: I had many weeks of physical therapy following surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. The doctors and assistants were all knowledgeable, professional and caring. After weeks of hard work and encouragement, I regained full use of my arm. I will continue to recommend CORA (Spine and Sport) to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: All of the folks at Cora have taken incredible care of me. I came in with a miserable sore lower back, which they have worked miracles with! The unexpected bonus has been a huge improvement in my old arthritic knees. I had pretty much resigned myself to living in pain or on painkillers, but I have seen such an improvement that I barely take any Ibuprofen. Thank you Cora for making it possible for me to continue working on my feet at a job I adore!

Fantastic experience: Cora was extremely lucky to buy out the Spine and Sport Physical Therapy on Whitmarsh Island. This physical therapy group was already top notch; and with Cora’s standards they are even better, if that is possible. When you walk into the door, Kira, Katie, or Sunni, from behind the desk, greet you with their beautiful smiles. Then, the doctor with whom you are assigned will personally come out to greet you, take you back into the clinic, and begin the session, after first finding out how you have done since the last visit. Dr. Kayla Pope, Dr. Wade Welch, and Dr. Doug Andrews run this clinic under the direction of Dr. Eric Bull. The doctors will assess your situation and write up a plan for you. There are assistants to partner with the doctors, but you will see one of the doctors with each visit. I have worked with Chris Zinn, Physical Therapy Assistant, many times, and he is excellent!!! Kristin helps me stay on task, because I love to talk with all these wonderful people. I do not know what I would do without this professional group, because they have helped me get over surgeries and prevent additional surgeries for years! This particular group feels like family to me! I highly recommend them to anyone needing help for their aches and pains!! ❤️
