St Joseph's Outpatient Rehab

Negative experience: They called to confirm my appointment yesterday. I left the house at 6am today to get to my appointment. I walk in and they tell me the doctor I need to see isn’t there and they have to reschedule me. This was not because of an emergency on the doctors part, I understand things happen, this was just somebody not doing their job correctly because the doctor was never supposed to be there today. This cost me time off work, my brothers time to drive me, and gas.

Fantastic experience: All the staff from Physical Therapists to receptionists and others are amazing and make you feel like an important person at their end, l completed my session and asked me if l have pain very concerned and offered water after my therapy.

Negative experience: I’m just amazed on how uncaring you people are. My wife’s best friend was released from the hospital to your care and you just let her die . My wife tried all she could to get the right people on this even though she reported you all to your authorities you didn’t change. You called my to tell her she passed and hung up after that without a word from my wife. You are so unprofessional to do this to he friend and then just give a 15 second phone call to my wife . I will make sure her brother takes you and the rehab to court because this is not human

Fantastic experience: Written on behalf of my mother Thomasina Albury: Milap Patel and the team at SJ Physical Therapy have been amazing. I was diagnosed in November with vestibular neuronitis which is essentially a sudden attack of severe debilitating vertigo. After a few weeks stay in the hospital, rehab, and finally outpatient therapy with Milap I am finally starting to resume my daily activities. Not only is Milap patient with me, he is extremely compassionate and understanding. He worked diligently with me and even provided homework for my family and I to do when I could not attend therapy as frequently as we really needed to. The type of rehab that is needed to recover from this type of illness is very different than normal therapy. I am grateful for the gift that God placed in him to be able to provide the type of therapy that I needed. As a result I am about 80% back to normal and improving daily. --Thomasina Albury

Fantastic experience: After my ENT and Otoneurologist couldn't figure out a clear diagnosis or treatment plan, Dr. Kathy Dement ordered me to see Dr. Milap Patel for vestibular therapy. Dr. Patel has been the only person who could finish my sentences when it came to my unusual symptoms of things ranging from spatial disorientation while driving to having a strong dependency on Dramamine for every day activities. Being an active listener, critical thinker, and one of true skill, Dr. Patel has given me back a normal life through vestibular therapy specific to my needs. No more driving anxiety or migraines, it has been life changing. Dr. Dement and Dr. Patel are working to help those who have vestibular challenges, I cannot thank them enough.
