Fantastic experience: Fabulous service from the moment I scheduled my first appointment! I was welcomed by the front office and the therapy I received was professional and the best I have ever received. The staff was warm and extremely knowledgeable. I had severe neck pain upon entering the clinic and on my last appointment I left virtually pain free. I am so enormously grateful to the entire staff for helping me get back into my active life.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Robb Blackaby's for the past couple of months for my lower back pain. He and his staff were able to get me back to feeling like myself again. Fantastic experience: Everyone took excellent care of me. When I arrived initially after a motor vehicle accident, I was in so much pain. Robb has been amazing, and the care I received was priceless. Everyone is professional, and genuinely caring individuals. The environment is therapeutic and promotes good health. They are very accommodating and helpful with scheduling. Because of the trauma, I have to be diligent about exercising daily so I can continue to heal, and they have given me the tools and resources to do that. I feel so much better since my accident! Top notch!!

Fantastic experience: My first experience with Robb was at wakeboarding nationals in Las Vegas. Out of the blue I asked if he would check out my shoulder, and he worked on it for maybe an hour and that night was the first time I could sleep on my side in months. After that I started visiting him at Desert Institute of Physical Therapy and really enjoyed the treatment I received from him and his staff. Both Robb and Ariana have been working on my shoulder and I have noticed a significant reduce in pain and increase in the range of motion. I would highly recommend DIPT to anyone I know!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Robb Blackaby at EXOS when I started having numbness in my leg. His thorough initial exam alerted me that I had atrophy in my calf muscles that I wasn't aware of. It prompted to me get an MRI and further evaluation which led to spinal surgery for a huge herniated disc. My leg weakness could have progressed if it weren't for his experienced clinical acumen. He has healing hands that intuitively hone in precisely on your problem areas and I've heard him referred to as a "muscle whisperer". His calm demeanor and holistic approach guided me through the ups and downs to a successful post op recovery. His skill and experience is equaled only by his humility. He would never tell you, but he was the team physical therapist for the Olympics and the X Games. I am forever thankful and will refer my friends and family to him without hesitation. His PT colleagues at EXOS are also rock solid and his front desk staff (now Diana) never miss a beat. The whole experience couldn't be better.

Fantastic experience: EXOS is a remarkable facility. I had a spinal compression fracture and I wouldn't be moving the way I can now without Chelsea, the therapist with whom I have been working. She worked brilliantly with me, understanding my needs, disposition and goals. The facility is pristine and the entire staff is welcoming and highly professional. Hope you won't need their services but if you're reading this review you likely do. I cannot recommend a PT facility more highly (and, for better or worse, before I moved here had been to a number so I have good frame of reference).

Fantastic experience: I strained several muscles in the quad area of my leg. Could hardly walk, much less take a full, painless step. I’ve been to EXOS and, working with Chelsea and Dave, I’m about 80 percent “back” in three sessions. Very pleased with the progress and hope to be back on the golf course within two weeks.

I suffer from chronic neck / shoulder issues that Robb and his staff have been able to pinpoint and treat very successfully allowing me to keep doing the activities I enjoy doing. Robb also has the coveted CFMT designation, a beautiful and welcoming location in N Scottsdale and wonderful and and understanding personality - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: As a medical professional and a business owner I know what it takes to run an efficient office and important reviews are these days . So here it goes . I had my first visit to this office today and it was absolutely a wonderful experience! Dr Blackaby was extremely personable and really took the time to get to know me and the reason for my visit. I never felt rushed even though I was the last patient of the day . I walked in with severe discomfort and left feeling much better after only one visit ! Fantastic experience: I had back surgery and the Doctors said I might never play golf again and some of my activities might be limited. I started working with Robb and his technique was wonderful. After about 90 days, I’m back playing golf and hiking and biking. The staff is warm and friendly. I highly recommend this organization.

Fantastic experience: At the age of 29, I underwent a L4-5 fixation surgery. I came to Robb at DIPT after moving to Phoenix. I talked to Robb about my desire to be pain free and return to my active lifestyle. For 3 months, Robb treated me with manual therapy and a exercise program. Today I'm feeling confident about my body and myself. I have started having fun in life (hiking with friends; travelling with my husband in the country and internationally). I never thought I would be able to accomplish this much! DIPT is also fun. The staff sees me as a friend, not a patient. They really cheered up my spirits! I highly recommend DIPT!

Fantastic experience: At age 76 and having been an athlete nearly all my life, I have suffered my share of injuries over the years. As a result, I have had numerous experiences with physical therapy organizations. I can say, without any doubt that my experience at DIPT far surpasses all the other comparable PT that I have had. The principals, the therapists, the administrative staff, and the PT assistants have all bent over backwards to make my recovery greatly exceed even my most ambitious target. The facility, the PT program and the equipment are all first rate. I anticipate I will need PT treatment for a future knee problem, and I will most certainly head right back to DIPT.

Fantastic experience: For the 5 weeks that I worked with Robb and the rest of DIPT team I was constantly impressed with the commitment they showed in getting my ankle and the rest of my body healthy. Every session with Robb made me feel better physically and excited about the tangible progress I had made since our last one on one. I am so happy one of my friends from ASU referred me to this facility The entire staff is made up of happy and pleasant people intent on getting you better. Working to get my body healthy again is sometimes a daunting task but being greeted by Julie and Karen at the front desk, having the expert Robb’s full attention, and then being encouragingly led through exercises by Aiden made it just a little bit easier. Fantastic experience: My wife Nancy and I can’t thank Rob, Dave and their assistants enough. Nancy saw Robb and Dave after surgery on the meniscus of her left knee. The physical therapy produced awesome results. Robb and Dave are very professional and they and their staff showed her many exercises to strengthen her knee, and provided diagrams she could take home. They really know how to rehabilitate the body’s muscle, ligaments tendons etc. I went to see Robb because of a rotator cuff injury, caused by 45 years of drumming. I was pretty certain I would need surgery, but wanted to see if physical therapy could relieve the pain. It so happens, that Robb Blackaby is also a drummer, and he immediately gave me a key recommendation. Make sure your drum throne is set at a height where your hips are higher than your knee or you will lurch forward with a rounded back, instead of sitting back in the chair with your back straight. Really brilliant, and so simple. He massaged and worked the entire area, my shoulder, pecs, traps, neck etc. and at the end of the 10 sessions I was absolutely pain free and remain so. I needed no surgery, no MRI and no down time on my drumming. We can’t say enough about the quality of care given by these guys!

Fantastic experience: Highly re-commanded. my experience with Rob and his staff was awesome. I had a sever Herniated Disk. After my surgery, I couldn't move my body at all. Rob with his magical work and his assistants helped me to recover myself easily. now I can tell I am almost 100% recovered. everyone who works there, are friendly and professional. However I had to drive at least half an hour to get there, but If I need Physical Therapy again, I will choose them again. Thanks Rob and DIPT!
