Empower Physical Therapy: Scottsdale Raintree

The team of therapists including both Brandon and Andrew are truly amazing, with great personalities that make every visit enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I worked with Joe who was awesome . He prepared me for a total hip surgery so well that I had the surgery one morning and went home the next afternoon. I was pain free while doing my exercises because of Joe's preparation. Thanks Joe. I'm coming back for my post op therapy.

Fantastic experience: I am excited to share this review. I've had lower back pain on and off for many years. I've gone to few chiropractors over the years, and even though a large percentage of our population swear by chiropractors, I found the results to be uncertain to say the least. Last July (2015), my back pain was so severe I considered going to Mayo. I decided to call Landmark Physical Therapy instead to find out if they had much success with back pain. I was told they help a lot of people with back issues so I made an appointment. At Landmark I met with Shane. He spent quite a bit of time evaluating my situation and educating me on stretches and exercises that I could do (at home) to help remedy my back issues. He suggested that I return if and/or when I needed to, depending on the results from my "homework". Part of the reason I did not write a review soon afterwards is because I thought my lack of back pain may have been a fluke. Now that it's been 9 months, I am sure it is not! I cannot say that I am 100% pain free, but for the most part it is not an issue at all! I try to do the stretches every day, but I probably average 5 - 6 days per week (about 10-20 minutes per day). Thank You Mark and Shane, and the rest of the staff at Landmark Physical Therapy!!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Landmark PT because I had knee pain that was both undiagnosed and untreated, despite having previously seen two doctors and three physical therapists. My therapist at Landmark not only diagnosed the problem, but was genuinely engaged and active in resolving it. The approach was very hands-on, and my therapist was with me the whole time — not putting me in the hands of an assistant. I've already recommended them to others.

Fantastic experience: I threw out my back lifting a fooze ball machine that weighs at least twice as much as I do, on Saturday. I was flat on my back Sunday and Monday. I literally could not lift up a cup of coffee without excruciating pain. On Tuesday morning, I called Landmark PT and got an appointment at 11:00am the same day. I met with Mark. He spend a few minutes asking me exactly what happened. After a total body assessment, he pulled, pushed, stretched, and twisted me back into shape. I felt 80% better after one visit. He told me to ice and do a few exercises at home and that in 24 hours, I should feel much better. He requested a follow up appointment on Thursday but if the pain came back to call the office immediately. On Thursday, I went back in. They had me do more exercises and less stretching. I can honesty say that in 2 visits I am back to 100%. I am playing golf tomorrow! Mark, Joe and Shane are all very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Landmark Physical Therapy! Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: Mark and his Team have done a beyond exceptional job rehabilitating my multiple injuries over the past 6 months. I wouldn't dare to think of going anywhere else. They go above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. I look forward to my future sessions with Mark and would highly recommend Landmark to anyone who wants to get the best care possible, while learning and staying educated about the injury and how to prevent other injuries happening as well. Spectacular services and staff.

Fantastic experience: Just finished up 4 weeks at Empower Scottsdale. After having physical therapy at two other companies I can’t say enough about the care, work outs and treatment I received at Empower Scottsdale. A dedicated team led by Dr. Melisa Curry helped me recover from hip replacement. I would highly recommend Empower Scottsdale for any physical therapy need!

Fantastic experience: I had shoulder surgery and needed physical therapy! I tried a different place,I was not improving and I were one of many people in the room .I decided to make a change.I called and made an appointment with Trey, who is the therapist and the manager .After the second visit my pain improved , range of motion improved.They take all covid 19 precautions ,never see more than 2 people in the room (the room is large). 2 weeks later I m pain free and able to sleep all night. I wish I could give them 6 stars.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I’ve sought PT from Empower, both times to help me rehab a total knee replacement. I have been very pleased with the expertise of the therapists and of the support staff at the Raintree location in Scottsdale! My rehab was completed in under 8 weeks and I am back to all activities! Thank you Jordan, Isaiah, Jeff and Sandy! You guys are the BEST!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the site on Raintree Blvd. Never have I had the level of care and helpful information from any previous PT experience. Fantastic experience: Just had my initial eval with Jordan at this location yesterday. I was extremely impressed with how quickly and accurately Jordan was able to pin down what is going on and started working with me and working out a plan for me right away. My therapist Jordan works with me on a one on one basis and is extremely knowledgeable about my condition. Fantastic experience: I came to Empower after being dissatisfied at another physical therapist. After recovering from a hip replacement in June, I started therapy after a total knee replacement. Trey has been both supportive and dedicated to my recovery. Two weeks after surgery I feel so much stronger and on my way to recovery. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about our Therapist Jeff Nicholson, as well as the rest of his team, Isaiah and Sandy.They couldn't be more accommodating, we were treated like family. Jeff is very knowledgeable and worked with my husband on several different problems and he is greatly improved. The fact that Empower says that the Therapist stays with you the entire session was a huge factor in making the decision to go to this facility, and we are so glad we did. Couldn't have found better!!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about my time at Empower Physical Therapy. When I initially called to schedule my appointments Sandi worked around my schedule to ensure that the times weren't conflicting with my work schedule. Jordan, my physical therapist, was very professional and determined to ensure I was making progress. The level of care provided was immaculate. Isaiah did a wonderful job assisting me through a variety of exercises and ensured that I was doing them correctly. While I didn't work directly with Jeff, he did offer words of encouragement and was courteous throughout my time at Empower. Overall, the experience was great. Everyone working at the location was positive, and truly cared about how I was feeling/progressing. I highly recommend this location.

Positive experience: I came in for a consultation for abdominal separation 15 min early (this was the instruction over the phone so that I could fill out necessary paperwork). I didn't get in until 15 min after the time my appointment was scheduled for. That's 30 minutes of waiting! The PT appointment itself went smoothly. The therapist, Jordan, was knowledgeable and helpful. We came up with an action plan for core exercises together. It looks like they've changed owners or rebranded because this location used to be Landmark physical therapy, which is what most of the reviews on here are for. It is now Empower physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: What I like most about going to Empower Physical Therapy is the therapist actually spends the majority of an hour with the patient rather than having an aide do much of the visit which has been the case at other facilities. I feel my therapist understands not only my condition and listens to my concerns but is also very clear on what I need to do at home to heal faster. The entire staff are friendly and accommodating and the facility is clean.

Fantastic experience: My 12 year old daughter has been going here for PT to enhance recovery from her spinal fusion surgery. I can't say enough about how amazing the staff is to my daughter and to everyone. Above and beyond excellent communication, timely, thorough and positive energy that's invaluable. Jeff, Isaiah & Sandy have made our lives so much better.❤️

Fantastic experience: Had meniscus surgery and been going here seeing Josh for a couple of months and feeling almost 100% again. The staff is always welcoming and very helpful. Refer my friends and family here always.

Fantastic experience: If I can give them 10 stars, I would! They treat all their patients with dignity and never hurry them. Eric is very patient, attentive, and understands that most who (finally) get PT done considers their sessions as "me time". He helps makes the pain easier to deal with a whole lot of humor. (But then again, I am the type that uses humor as a coping mechanism.)

Fantastic experience: All physical therapists are NOT the same. The doctors at Landmark (yes, doctors - not assistants or someone working on becoming a therapist - really qualified doctors!) gave me my life back. After years of going in and out of orthopedic doctors offices with no real diagnosis or 'prescriptions' for PT to be done at their own office (with the not very qualified assistant) I gave up and resigned the the fact that I would just have to live with my shoulder pain. After my consultation at Landmark the doctor had diagnosed my issue and challenged me to allow him 6 visits to see if he could improve the situation. He won that challenge! Not only did I see results quickly but I'm slow at getting to things like writing reviews. So it's been several months since my last appointment and I am still pain free. I can't thank the doctors at Landmark enough. They truly changed my life!

Fantastic experience: I had gone to several PT's both in AZ & NY but my knee problems persisted. I wandered into Landmark quite by chance and the manager, Eric Ullman, showed me around. I worked with Eric for about 5 months, and my knees are WAY better. Eric was GREAT. He's such a nice guy, has a very dry sense of humor and is extremely quick on the uptake . I loved working with him & can't wait to get his help with my lower back and balance problems when I return in October.
