So I went to go see Dr. Jason and he figured out the cause of the pain literally within 3 minutes of me being there. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Jason highly enough. My husband and I are both athletes (power lifters turned marathon runners) and have picked up several nagging injuries between the two of us. As one example, I had been having pain in my knee that became so chronic and severe that it was really impacting not only my athletic performance but also my quality of life. Before Jason, we had never found anyone who could actually help us. After our first visit with Jason, I felt hopeful for the first time that we could resolve our problems, feel better and improve our athletic performance. He really takes the time to figure out the cause of the problem and address it through multiple avenues (dry needling, corrective exercises, strength training, etc.). We are based out of NYC and make it a point to see Jason in person several times per year as well as communicating with him over text and email. His flexibility in treating us remotely has been very much appreciated. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Jason for the last almost 2 years and I seriously owe him everything! I had a bad back injury that put me out of work and in chronic pain. I was bed ridden for a year and a half and had seen two other physical therapists before him who couldn’t help me. One had even told me that I was a special case that needed to be experimented on to get better. Shortly after that, Jason took me on as a client and within a couple of months, my pain had minimized tremendously and over time and consistently seeing him (twice a month) I am better. She is a competitive athlete and injured her knee but it was not healing and she had a lot of pain. Fantastic experience: 2015: I came to Jason when my lower back was in a sufficient enough amount of pain that it inhibited most of my training days in the gym. Through his vast knowledge he was able to identify the root of my pains and began from there. I can now say that I have zero back pain (after 5 or 6 sessions with aggressive work) and haven't had any (if so, very minor that nothing but a quick fix from him could alleviate). I have been to other PT's that use similar ART techniques but nothing compares to what Jason has done and continues to do for my body. If you have any sort of imbalances or pains I can assure and attest that Jason will find the way to make those pains go away. The other aspect that I really enjoy about our sessions is he will always give simple exercises to use in my training that have thus far made a tremendous difference. He goes above and beyond for his clients. 8/22/2023: Update, I continue to see Dr. Jason for pain management and keeping my mobility and functionality stable. Thank goodness for KSSPT!

Fantastic experience: Jessica is amazing! She takes the time with you to find out all the areas that need work and her dry needling technique and cupping makes a huge difference immediately. She showed me exercises that will help strengthen those areas and even put tutorials on my online portal with an exercise plan to follow at home. Fantastic experience: I hurt my back working out and was hunched over for almost a week. Jason explained my si joints were uneven and adjusted them then did dry needling and I was upright shortly thereafter. I have been through therapy and chiropractic treatments for this and prior injuries, but Jason blows other treatment providers all away! My quality of life was depressing due to the pain. If you have pain or want to prevent injuries go see Jason! As of recently I experienced vertigo due to loose crysyals in my ear canal. Nick has a lot of expertise with vertigo and can perform the Epley maneuver as well. He has helped my dizziness tremendously. I highly recommend Nick as well.

Fantastic experience: I've just completed my second session with Nick and again his knowledge in exploring to confirm where my problem stems from was exceptional! Incredibly knowledgeable and fantastic detail in describing the why's and how's. I visited RST another PT in town and they couldn't find the problem and suggested 9 sessions to help them find it, Dr Nick knew exactly what it was after 20 minutes and started treatment which shouldn't take no more than 3 sessions!

I’ve done massage, adjustments, cupping, taping, stretching. But it’s always there. I recently strained my back so badly, I was contemplating taking time off of work. I've seen Jessica several times and she's been a great help getting mobility back for me as well as helping fix very tight stressful areas. Being a bodybuilder I've had over a decade of stress and pressure on muscles and I've been to masseuses, done hot/cold baths, acupuncture, and dry needling was the only thing that helped fix a super tight pec issue I had for months. Highly recommend this place, I just wish I had put more money in my HSA to go more consistently.

I'd been struggling with a what I thought was a shoulder injury for months with pain in my shoulder and numbness/tingling down my arm and hand. Turns out my collarbone popped out of place creating a lot of havoc. As a fitness instructor this injury had really started to wear on my financially, emotionally, and I love what I do so not being able to give my 100 percent was frustrating and frazzling. Jason was able to quickly assess, adjust, and with the dry needling release some muscles that had been freaked out for months. I am an intermediate powerlifter and had an seen him for a major back spasm/low back pain that had me worried I was just going to always live with pain and a limited range of motion. After just ONE visit, I was 80-90% better! One week later I over did it in the gym and hurt myself again, but I saw Dr Jason and he worked his magic again! No one will ever regret going to see him. Positive experience: Owner contacted me regarding my disappointment w a doctor who did not wear mask for my one hour treatment and then was positive for covid, exposing me. Owner let me know the doctor is no longer with them and that masks are required of every person working. And as for the actual service treatment I received did handle my issue (I could not move my neck or turn my head, I was miserable.

Fantastic experience: I discovered KSSPT through a friend years ago. I had been dealing with hip pain for almost a year at that point. After a few sessions with Jason I was pain free. Not only did he help me with that injury but he also developed a stretching/exercise routine to prevent it from happening again. I’ve continued to come in with other injuries over the years, even though I live an hour across town. They are that good and I recommend them to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with my physical therapy so far with Dr. Robert Horstman of Kinetic Sports and Spine Physical Therapy. After back surgery, I am working with Robbie to build strength, strengthen core, and learn modification of Bikram Yoga. I have been pleasantly impressed with the staff who have been efficient, friendly and professional. That says a lot in itself. Often times I feel it's the staff that deter me from staying with a Doctor/Service! I love the appointment reminders! The therapy from Robbie has been challenging. He is very knowledgable and thorough. He demonstrates and explains the workouts, challenges me, and ensures that I do the movements correctly. He progresses so that I do not over extend myself. He has LISTENED to my concerns and has ADDRESSED my issues. He answers my questions. I feel a noticeable difference in strength and balance. I am confident in his direction; I had been to other PT and he has introduced new techniques that has made a noticeable difference. The location is easy to access, clean, and offers a lot of equipment. I have been very pleased and look forward to meeting my goals with Robbie Horstman at Kinetic Sports and Spine PT.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express enough how helpful Robbie has been though my recovery process. I went from being in pain from a frozen shoulder to full mobility and being able to train again. I had been dealing with shoulder pain for about one year. wasn't sure what was happening or how to address - I was Referred to Robbie Horstman, and I'm VERY happy with the results. Fantastic experience: I will try to make a long story short. Just over one year ago a began having knee pain during squats. Another doctor eventually ordered an MRI, which showed zero remaining cartilage under the patella. My two options were stem cell injections or partial knee replacement. I elected stem cell injections. After 3 more months of easy lifting I felt no relief. I had seen Jason Avakian at Kinetic Sports and Spine for other injuries with great results, and he reached out to me after discovering I had knee pain. He convinced me to come in. I'm glad I did. After just one visit Jason was able to determine my knee pain was a result of a patella tracking problem. He needled my leg and instructed me to buy a patella tracking brace. He told me to wear it for six weeks and the problem would correct itself. I followed Jason's orders and 9 weeks later I did a 342lb back squat with zero pain. This was an all time personal record for me. I can't thank Jason and his team enough. This was an immediate fix for an injury I thought would require a partial knee replacement. Kinetic Sports and Spine will be the first place I go for potential future injuries!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I saught out Dr. Robbie Horstman after a bicycle crash that left me with an immobile shoulder and severe pain. Upon contacting Dr. Horstman, I was on his table within 24 hours. He examined and assessed my injury while explaining what he thought was going on within my deltoid. After a needling session and a few mobility exercises, I was able to see significant improvements and I couldn’t be happier. With a few more sessions, I’m confident that I will be back to 100% thanks to Dr. Horstman's expertise.
