Fantastic experience: Great out patient and in patient for stroke victims.

Negative experience: Horrible people who work here... As a nurse I'm appalled and will never recommend this place to anybody. Dismissing patients concerns.... Giving pills to my mother without explaining or telling her what it is the being rude and acting offended when my mom won't take a Xanax? Be cause they're obviously trying to get her to sleep so they don't havr to tend to her. Over heard the staff get annoyed that people request to go to the bathroom. Unprofessional appearance... Attitudes.... Etc.

Fantastic experience: Loved my experience as an Interventional Plain Management patient on April 8,2025. The staff was efficient and friendly and all went well! My Doctor was Dr. McDaniel! Thanks to everyone involved!

Fantastic experience: My stay at Baton Rouge Rehabilitation Hospital was absolutely fantastic. The staff didn’t ever experience a sad day at this facility! I would highly recommend this factory for your life ved ones . It was wonderful and I did not like having to leave. It was like my home away from home. The facility was always clean and sanitized and therapy was professional and the food was always deliciously prepared.

Fantastic experience: Mom was sent here for stroke rehab and the staff was great and so was the food!! She loved her experience and was actually sad to have to leave her new friends behind. She’s returning for outpatient therapy because she loved the place so much. As a healthcare provider myself, it gave me great joy to see those providing care to her with such compassion and great care. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: This is my 3rd set of shots and this place is amazing. The most friendly people, answered all questions . No other place I’d rather be for procedures. Dr. Kelly Boussert and her team are all 5 star professionals. I would give it a ten but there are not enough stars

Fantastic experience: We love Baton Rouge Rehab Day Program!! Roxane, Ashley, Alexis, Laken, Lori, Maria, Mr Lionel, Ms Paula, Phil and the rest of the day crew are wonderful!!

Negative experience: I really don't care if it's public I really just don't like the way yall do things some of them is very unfair I pray nothing ever happen to me cause your place would not be a option for me

Fantastic experience: I'm not sure about the hospital but the little cafe is delicious. If I ever need rehab I would stay here just for the food.

Fantastic experience: was fortunate to shadow BRRH therapists and from the caring therapists to the happy patients, I would bet it would be hard to find a better place to get treated in the state. they rock.

Negative experience: They’re inpatient rehab sucks. Hard to get into and they just boss you around. Had a family member here and they were miserable. Super snooty for subpar care.

Fantastic experience: I am a member of the BRRehab Hospital Amputee Support group, and I bet this is one of the best support groups in this nation. I look forward to our support group meetings that are informational and inspiring. Two months ago I met an amputee who will accompany me to the support group meeting on Friday. We are looking forward to seeing friends and gaining knowledge about resources available to amputees.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about how each and every person there from the Doctors, Physical therapist, Lunch room staff, to the wonderful Aides and every one behind the scene that makes this all cohesive . The amount of knowledge that each of you hold is remarkable. The amount of care and empathy that each of you hold has to be a gift from God.I didn't want to leave there, because of the way I was treated. I have never seen so much positivity in patients with such devastating and debilitating ailments and it all comes from such a remarkable staff. I can say thank you for what you do, but somehow it doesn't feel like enough, but Thank You and may God Bless each and everyone of you.You have really touched me and so many others. Paula Matte

Fantastic experience: Everyone very nice and helpful!

Fantastic experience: My mom was sent here after a full knee replacement. It was a rough 2 weeks after surgery to get her here but it was worth it. She was discharged the day after surgery and had 2 ER visits and both led to being readmitted to the hospital before her insurance finally agreed to let her go. This place was amazing! The staff were so friendly, helpful, encouraging and cheerful. You can tell they all love their job. Everyone from housekeeping to the physical therapist to the nurses were awesome! She had 3 1/2 hours of physical therapy a day which helped her recovery tremendously. She also received occupational therapy which helped her build her strength back. After a week of being here, my mom was discharged and had made so much progress she could go home. She would not be this far along without the hard work they made her put in and the encouragement. She was sad to leave because everyone here is great! My mom is a big coffee drinker and that is one of the first things she would do in the morning is walk down the hall to see if the coffee was ready. Several mornings the ladies would bring the coffee to her in her room which warmed her heart and make her feel special on top of everything else they have to do, they took the time to do that for her. I will recommend this rehabilitation facility to everyone I know and it came highly recommended to me!!!

Fantastic experience: I was sent here in late January after being hospitalized for a little over a month due to Covid. Upon arrival I got a sense of relief. The staff was absolutely AMAZING. Jean,Dwight, Elaine, Natasha, Ashley, Nancy, Dasia, Zy, Emma, and everyone I came in contact with.They always kept me focused and motivated. My therapist were absolutely AMAZING as well. Maria, Pedro and all of the others! The NP’s, Dr.’s were nothing short of AMAZING as well. After being discharged I did some outpatient therapy, the therapist were also AMAZING! Courtney and the crew kept me going! I can’t thank all of you enough for getting me back to my normal routine. Forever thankful and grateful for ALL of you ❤️❤️❤️ I highly recommend this place for any of your therapy needs! The entire staff is AMAZING including the cooks and janitorial staff.

Fantastic experience: I was sent there after surgery 3 different times and then a 4th time after an amputation and I cant say enough about the care and treatment that I received the cleanliness and training of the staff the top notch rehab team. I wish I could return for another week or two for some more of their outstanding treatment and care just not at the same expense. Miss Jeannine and Marilu and Ally and the whole staff are the most professional and well trained people l've ever had the pleasure to be rehabilitated by it was a long journey but I spent it with a great bunch of technicians and nursing staff comparable to none. Love and miss each one of ya'll keep up the good work. Looking forward to the amputees meeting soon.

Negative experience: Second attempt to write a review. Must screen them. Rehab team awesome. Never knew what dr would see you each day. 50/50 chance to get one who cared. Better off not having a case worker. Sad just Sad!!

Fantastic experience: This is a world class Rehabilitation Hospital, thus pronounced by this Baton Rouge Physician who was recently a patient, and who has worked in rehabilitation centers in several major American cities. The therapy staff, the nursing staff, and the medical staff are beyond-excellent, and their training and qualifications are unparalleled. The food is excellent, the housekeeping services are excellent, and all details of patient care are managed expertly. One could do no better than Baton Rouge Rehab Hospital, whether the problem is Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord injury, postoperative rehab and pain control, or interventional pain management, just to name a few. This is a healing place, in the best sense of those words.

Fantastic experience: Spent 18 days at this facility and could not be happier with the care I received. Was very apprehensive at first following hip surgery and not be able to place any weight on my affected leg. The staff soon gained my confidence and as a retired RN that was a challenge. On discharge I returned for outpatient physical therapy. As soon as I could weight bear, they have brought me from wheelchair to walker and now to cane. Have 7 more weeks of PT and I know they have prepared me to face the real world. Have just recommended it to a friend for his mom.

Fantastic experience: Greatest rehab staff in the state! My wife was in-patient for 5 weeks, and they accomidated the both of us for that whole time. Awesome nurses and just an overall great staff. I thank them so much for everything.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Facility my husband was treated with great care twice once for bilateral knee replacement and the second time after a stroke I have nothing but good things to say about the entire staff.

Fantastic experience: I was admitted for rehab after bi-lateral knee replacement. I didn't want to go home. The staff is truly amazing, helpful, kind considerate. My therapy was extremely painful at times. Their concern and compassion for me was so genuine while inflicting pain, my therapist had to look away. Excellent facility. Rooms are keep pristine. Fantastic experience: I was a caregiver for someone who went to Ollie Steele for rehab and I was impressed with the cleanliness and the pleasant smell being so unlike any other care facility. The entire staff was sincerely kind and competent. My lady arrived by ambulance and walked out with just a walker after only 2 weeks. Great job Ollie folks!!!!
