Fantastic experience: I've been dealing with sciatica for about a year and a half, never really got it fixed before. Consistently around 3/10 on pain scale, but worsened considerably late 2025. I needed to get it fixed. I got a referral to these guys, but was at first skeptical about the good reviews (like really barely even any 3-4 stars? That's crazy). After my time here, my symptoms improved dramatically. Really, I had a lot of success going here. Inside the facility, there's a news article describing their philosophy in the waiting room. They make sure to give enough individual time to each patient. I think that's true. I was treated with respect, my questions were always answered well, and I trusted the treatment I got. I came in and got worked on and did exercises there and at home consistently. Treatments were adjusted to my own case. And of course, everybody there has a great personality, so there's good energy in the air. I recommend this place to other people

Fantastic experience: Was very pleased with the therapy I got at Baton Rouge Physical Therapy, Brittany location, the last part of May 2025 for my back and core. Paul listened to me first, then told me what we were going to work on to get me back to good health. He explained thoroughly each exercise before I began and always paid attention in case I was not performing it correctly. The place is excellent as far as layout, office staff and therapists. It was actually fun to work hard there! I came to BRPT Lake for PT post arthroscopic knee surgery. My PT Jayci was incredible. I had 30+ treatments. My favorite thing was that we never did the same thing twice in a row, yet we accomplished our goal each day. Jayci always had my best interest and my safety as her top priority. Fantastic experience: I've never had PT before & really didn't know what to expect. My issues were related to chronic illness & pain. For 10 weeks, my therapy was managed by a team of experts. My experienced and knowledgeable therapist, Paul Melancon was outstanding. He explained my illness and therapy plan in detail and made sure I understood. He was caring and tailored my therapy so that it was challenging but doable, and most important - safe. I can't speak highly enough about all of the staff. The technicians, Jasmine, Lindsey, Julianna, Luke, Sam, and Maddie) that assisted Paul and were with me each visit were so genuinely kind and helpful. I would be re-miss if I didn't include a review of the front office staff. Alyssa, Laura & Courtlynn - made scheduling so easy and were always so so welcoming. I walked away from this experience with less pain, more energy, improved balance and walking, and better sleep. I hope I don't need therapy again, but if I do - I would choose BR PT without hesitation. I loved getting to know all of these fine people and will be forever grateful to all of them.

Fantastic experience: On April 26th I fully ruptured my Achilles celebrating an LSU baseball walk off homer at 1:17am. Since my surgery I’ve been working with the incredible team at Baton Rouge Physical Therapy. Now I can carry my little girl on my back for miles at a time in Yosemite. Fantastic experience: I have been to a few physical therapy places in my life, but this one is tops. Everyone knows who you are by your name and says hello to you at each visit. You aren’t just a patient. You are a person. I went two different sessions for this injury. Both times my physical therapist worked my foot/ankle to its limit trying to get it to get better. I felt like they really wanted to help me. The facility is very clean. They wipe down everything after a patient uses it, and are conscientious regarding washing their hands and using hand sanitizer. I highly recommend BR PT at the Lake because they made me physically better by pushing me to my limits and giving me a game plan to continue to improve now that I’ve been released. Everyone who works there always seems in a good mood. Nice to be around people with a smile on their faces when you are hurting. It helps make your session there more pleasant.

Fantastic experience: BRPT was phenomenal. I was able to get back full range of motion and even return to the gym and sports. Everyone at the clinic is so kind and encouraging. The techs, therapists, and front desk are all amazing and made PT more enjoyable. I had been seeing Shea for almost a year and a half and am so thankful for his help. My time there was cut short due to personal reasons but the therapy received was successful. That’s the place I would return to if I had to do anymore therapy. I highly recommend that facility.

Fantastic experience: Let’s begin at the start. When I was referred to the clinic, the front desk staff promptly reached out and scheduled an appointment for my convenience. Next, we’ll talk about Colyn Pitre. Initially, I was confined to a power chair, but his assistance in helping me regain my balance and endurance gradually improved my walking ability. I was able to start walking with a cane, but I’ve since discontinued its use. His kindness and coaching played a pivotal role in enabling me to resume my daily activities, considering my underlying medical conditions. The technical staff was equally supportive and helpful. All my appointments were pleasant and beneficial, thanks to the efforts of everyone involved.

Fantastic experience: I had a failed back surgery last April and the neurosurgeon wanted to operate again three months later. I refused, changed surgeons and was sent to BRPT-Lake. I finally turned the corner after nearly half a year of conservative measures and wished I had sought physical therapy before last year’s surgery. The therapists are not only excellent in their education but have an appreciation for the patient recovering as a human being.The entire group works as a team. You are greeted with respect each session and you will have everything explained, have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how to have your best life. This is the finest physical therapy group you could possibly choose. My team, lead by Shea Rogers, was extraordinary. I can now return to my pre-surgery life and travel the world again. Fantastic experience: BRPT Lake is amazing! I shattered both of my wrists back in February and the improvement I have seen is honestly remarkable. Patrick was my therapist and he is the best! Very professional and knowledgeable while being compassionate at the same time. All of the techs there are wonderful but I most often worked with Sam. He made my workouts (which were really tough at first!) fun and he always had a smile. From the front desk ladies to my student intern, Sarah, everyone there made what could have been a miserable experience one that was pleasant and very beneficial. Highly recommend BRPT Lake to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: This was my 4th PT experience, this time for a hip injury - this was by far the most positive, informative, and results-producing PT I've ever had! I worked primarily with DPT Colyn Petry, and he thoroughly explained the mechanics of my problem to me, he adjusted his strategy every week based on feedback I gave, and the exercises he prescribed were tailored to out therapy goals, did not feel random or checklist-y at all. Each session, I worked 30 mins with Colyn and 30 mins one-on-one with a technician...in all of my previous PT experiences, the technician would be working with me and multiple other people, leaving me with unnecessary downtime and a sense of being on an assembly line. On one occasion, I worked with DPT Jaycee, and she was just as exceptional - the whole team there is warm, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, including the cheerful front office staff. I have nor one critique of the whole experience. I highly recommend BRPT. and if I need PT again, I know where to go!

He never hesitated to help and tailor my routine so I could achieve the best possible outcome. The PT assistants carrying me through my routine were amazing as well, thoroughly enjoyed them all. If you’re questioning if this is the right place for you, give them a chance, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I sought care for chronic cervical/thoracic spine pain. I attended therapy for several months. I am very pleased with the care I received at BRPT! The physical therapist I worked with was very invested in my progress, and he tailored exercises to the pain I was having from visit to visit. He was constantly coming up with new plans when he felt like my progress was plateauing in order to continue to see growth. Every single person who works there has a positive attitude and is so nice. You’re always greeted by name by everyone. I never had any problem scheduling appointments for times that worked around my work schedule. I would definitely go back to BRPT for other PT needs as well as recommend to someone else.
