Fantastic experience: I went to Function First in Shreveport for a knee injury, nerve pain in my back, and hyper mobility related issues for several months. If I’m ever in need of physical therapy again, I know exactly where I will go. I can’t say enough about the whole team-Donald, Dennis, Matt, Nikko, Denise, and everyone there. The entire team was professional, friendly, and had different approaches and patient education to offer. They took such great care of me. The facility is always clean. They have red cord therapy, which is unique and not something offered at every clinic. The front office staff are very polite and professional as well. Fantastic experience: Messed up something in my upper back from handstand pushups and these guys got me back 100%! Nikko and Matt Sermons were the therapists I saw and they did a great job. I'm typically a very nervous person but I started feeling comfortable around them very quickly. In fact it felt almost like meeting up with a (very knowledgeable) gym buddy rather than visiting a clinic. Also, the front desk was very efficient and competent, and the wait times were very low. I really have no complaints about my experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking physical therapy.

Positive experience: It was a great experience, until it wasn’t. I started working with Niko and he was great. But the last time I went, I worked with someone else who basically told me I didn’t need physical therapy and to just go to the gym more. I felt embarrassed and didn’t go back. Then I got hit with the bill…

Fantastic experience: I had a really tough shoulder reconstruction surgery on my dominant arm from a 14yr old injury that limited my work and many of my favorite activities. The staff at Function First has been first class in every way during the recovery. Very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. My family owned the oldest privately owned Home Health agency in north Louisiana until we retired the business recently. Therapy was a huge portion of our business and we’ve seen all there is to see when it comes to local therapists. These guys are as good as it gets and the quality of care is unmatched. Fantastic experience: Over a year and a half ago I suffered with sciatic nerve pain so bad in my left leg that i could barely walk on that side of my body, but with the help of Dr Greg Kintzing and staff at Function First physical therapy, I am walking without sciatic pain. They use the Red Cord method of physical therapy which allows you to preform the exercises with gravity, not against it . I received fantastic service and they made it a pleasure to work with them. If you are in the Shreveport or Bossier area and in need of excellent physical therapy you should give them a call. They gave me back my life without pain.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, accommodating, attentive. First PT experience. From 1st visit to last, they were supportive, encouraging, tried different things to see what worked best for me, asked questions and listened to my responses. Nerve pain virtually gone, range of motion much improved, and taught me exercises I can do to help myself. And they have Redcords.

Fantastic experience: Overstatement is impossible here. I'm 46 with a chronic lower back issue. I'm a commercial photographer constantly on-the-go. I'm a wife and mother of a middle-schooler. I can't be out of commission physically, ever. I went to Function First with a brand new hip issue that was making it really hard for me to walk without pain. I've learned to live with pain and lots of Ibuprofen. After a series of pain-free therapy sessions at Function First. The pain was resolved and I walked away with a handful of stretches I can do at home for flare-ups. Even the stretches work. The REDCORD Suspension System enabled them to work without the restrictions of gravity to totally isolate the injured spot and activate the supporting areas around the affected area. So they fixed me, and then they taught me how to fix myself. And they did it without causing me pain. I've been to a lot of PT but never without pain and never with these results. I feel like I have a silver bullet for body pain at my disposal. Thank you, Function First. You keep me moving without pain.
