Fantastic experience: Dr. Andrew at the Simi location has been wonderful for my knee replacement rehab. He is clearly an expert. He listens carefully & takes the whole patient into account. Very highly recommend!

I can confidently say that working with Michael and Sean at Athletic Physical Therapy has been the best decision I could have made. Michael, my primary therapist, has been exceptional. He's been patient, knowledgeable, and has pushed me just the right amount to build my back strength back up. The personalized exercises he developed for me have made an incredible difference in my recovery. I've also worked with Sean on a few occasions, and he is just as skilled and encouraging. The atmosphere is positive and supportive, and the entire team genuinely cares about my progress. Fantastic experience: I happened to find this place after I had a horrible experience with a different PT office in Simi Valley. I contacted them to see if I could change my prescription over to their office. Best change ever! You don’t realize how bad one place is until you go somewhere great. I am working with Andrew Magpali and I couldn’t be happier. He is professional and personable. He is patient with me and spends time listening and instructing me with the best exercises to get me back to where I was before my surgery. The whole staff is great. From the time I check in at the front desk till I have completed my routine every employee I interact with has been kind and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Athletic Physical Therapy.

Doctor Sean Wronka helped me immensely to get my range of motion back after rotator cuff surgery. Sean was a pleasure to work with and always listened to my concerns. At my last appointment with my surgeon, he was impressed on how good my range of motion was. I attribute that to the therapy I received from Doctor Sean. Fantastic experience: In the past 18 months I've received PT at Athletic for back/hip, shoulder and knee pain. From Andrew's professional assessments and personalized exercise plans to Ephraim's focused and encouraging supervision, my experience at Athletic was only positive. All the exercises have significantly reduced if not eliminated my pain. I'm very grateful for a facility of this caliber in Simi.

Fantastic experience: Sean!! Sean is the best person! I came here before surgery after tearing my ACL he helped me so much. Then I had the surgery and came in 1 week post surgery. Sean was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. This was my first injury and I did not know what to expect. The staff over all was fantastic they are all very friendly. I would recommend you this place and Sean if you are ever in need of it. Also shout out to Jake the assistant who always made me laugh! Fantastic experience: I have a pretty severe back injury and they really helped me out strengthened my core, legs, and abs. It's really helped with the pain. So glad I went.

Fantastic experience: The therapists are very helpful and knowledgeable. They thoroughly assessed and treated my triceps injury. Ephraim designed a home exercise program that strengthened my injured triceps and the surrounding muscles. The exercise program was easy to follow and I'm back to full strength.

Dr Andrew always takes the time to explain the benefits of the exercice and how it affects the body condition for which the therapy is needed. I recommend this PT center for anyone with neck, back pain or any other issue.

Fantastic experience: I spent the last two months rehabilitating my repaired meniscus under the management of Dr. Sean Wronka. He was fantastic. He was always prepared with new exercises for me to strengthen my knee, made sure I was performing my exercises properly and encouraged me that I was getting stronger. With his help I was able to hop back on my road bike and return to my exercise regimen, both of which he knew were important to me. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience working the patient and knowledgeable therapists at Athletic PT in Simi. Dr. Andrew laid out a challenging program on my first visit, after taking my history and assessing my issue. Then Ephraim, the PTA, spent the remainder of my visits keeping me on motivated with an ever-growing routine of exercises, stretches, and strengthening tasks. It was hard work, but his constant encouragement at every step kept me on track toward reaching my therapy goals. Even during those moments where I thought I couldn't go any further, Ephraim gently spurred me forward. If I ever need more physical therapy, I will return to their clinic. Great folks!

Fantastic experience: Athletics Physical Therapy in Simi Valley is great! The people here are awesome and really care about you as a person and getting to know you. I work with Sean Wronka and he is a very cool, knowledgeable, caring DPT that gets to know his patient and just what they need. He is kind and gentle, yet can put that tough love on you when you need to be pushed to gain strength or regain your flexibility. The other team members are all so nice and helpful. Aubrey is also amazing at taking care of scheduling, payments, and makes sure that the billing and insurance business is all correct. She is amazing and always helpful and funny. I highly recommend this place for PT.

Positive experience: The first couple times I called to schedule my initial appointment, I couldn’t get anyone on the phone. I was starting to think they lacked good customer service, but once I got there in person, it turned out to be a good experience. They get so busy sometimes because apparently people like this place! The entire staff is always cordial, from the front desk to the therapists. They listen to you and your body. I was assigned to work with LeeAnn. She always greeted me w/ a smile and asked how things are going. If you’re honest w/ them, they’ll tweak the exercises accordingly. Also, my schedule is very sporadic and I had to rearrange appointments frequently. Aubrey, at the front desk was always accommodating. I know a couple other people who have used this office recently and they also had good experiences. I left feeling rehabbed and ready to get back on my bike, which is the reason I was there—I had fallen off of it. At least now I know where to go if I’m ever injured again! Thanks to the entire team at Athletic Physical Therapy, Simi Valley!

Fantastic experience: After my hip surgery a few months ago, I have received the best of care from Dr. Andrew and his team. He is professional and dedicated to his patients 100%. He ensures you do your exercise correctly and explains any questions you may have on your surgery and your exercise. I also must mention Aubrey the office assistant is so welcoming and answers any questions you may have regarding your medical insurance. She keeps me in tune with my appointments. It is so refreshing to have an office these days to make it so easy for your needs when on many days you made not feel well and hurting from your injury or surgery. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of APT in Simi Valley several times. Once you experience this practice, you will be pleased at the professional atmosphere. Dr Sean Wronka treated me with both skill and expertise. I have a bad hip, and when I walked out of the office after the first visit for this problem I knew he had made a definite difference. I have been back to APT several times for a different issues, and I have always been satisfied with the treatment and the results.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Athletic PT in Simi Valley. I received therapy there for six weeks after my knee surgery in January 2023. Dr Sean Wronka was my therapist and he was so great. He always asked how I felt before we got started and was very gentle but did what he had to for my best outcome. I always did my exercises at home so I would continue to show progress. The entire staff was very helpful and very nice to deal with each visit. Thank you Dr Sean and staff.

Fantastic experience: I used APT in Simi Valley after my foot surgery. Andrew gave me intense personal attention and an effective set of various exercises as well as hands on care that resulted in great progress and steady improvement. I noticed every patient getting the same expert care. It is a fabulous place to get therapy. Andrew and his staff are exceptional.

Negative experience: The receptionist named April has super bad customer service. if she has problems at home, she shouldn't bring them to work.

Fantastic experience: I sustained a recent injury to my shoulder and was told by my orthopedic doctor to have a course of physical therapy. Never having had PT before I did not know what to expect. However I was very pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Sean Wronka at Athletic Physical Therapy in Simi Valley. He is extremely professional and courteous and has helped me gain mobility and strength during my weeks of rehabilitation. I am not a young person so it takes longer for me to heal but he (as well as Anrae who also worked on my rehab) were very patient and put me right at ease. A big thank you to everyone on staff. I also thoroughly enjoyed coming and seeing the the sunny disposition of Aubrey at the front desk who scheduled my appointments and was always a friendly smiling face as I walked in the door......... Since I posted the above review I have now 'graduated" from P.T.......I went to my last session today and am truly happy with the positive progress I have made over the course of my sessions.........

Fantastic experience: I have used two different PT places in the last few years and I have been very impressed with my experience at Athletic PT. When I first started in March I was limping and unable to perform my work duties as a nurse. Within a month of seeing Sean I was able to walk with a steady equal gait and diminish my pain immensely. The pre-massage of the muscles provided by Sean is truly amazing before an intense workout. He pushes me every visit and is always switching the exercises to incorporate new things to challenge me. The PT assistants, Anrae, is always attentive throughout the workout and very polite. Lastly, the front desk secretary Aubrey, is truly a great asset to their company. She is always friendly and polite and welcomed everyone with the biggest smile!! I would highly recommend Athletic PT to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Athletic Physical Therapy came highly recommended by my surgeon for post operation therapy and they did not disappoint. Dr. Sean Wronka and assisting staff helped facilitate excellent range of motion and are the reason I'm walking well just a few short weeks after being cleared for weight bearing activities. Aside from the quality staff, the facility is clean and has all imaginable equipment to aid in any recovery process. Additionally, Aubrey was exceptionally flexible with the scheduling and always did her best to accommodate my needs. I would give Athletic Physical Therapy a 10/5 if I could. Keep in mind my situation was based on a lot of factors and my recovery time may not be identical to another based on severity of injury or other factors. But regardless of your situation, they will give you the best possible care and treatment plan!!
