Fantastic experience: I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible staff at Aspire simi valley. They were wonderful and truly caring, going above and beyond to ensure my well-being. Starting this journey was intimidating for me, but the staff provided daily reassurance that I would be okay. They created a safe environment where all group conversations were kept confidential, fostering a space free from judgment. I had several tough situations that came up which caused significant grief and stress; every single therapist there came to talk to me and ask if I was OK. There was a billing issue and it was fixed immediately. I had an insurance issue at a later time and they did everything in their power to allow me to continue care. Their support made a significant difference in my life, and I genuinely believe they saved me. They are good people who do everything they can to help you through difficult times. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and dedication.

Fantastic experience: This Place is Great for all types of Problems that people are Going through. The counselors are Attentive, and Care about what feelings and take account of what individual has Going on. I Totally Recommend these Counseling Service From Kids, Young Adults, Adults and Elderly. Love this place 100% Worthy

Fantastic experience: Overall great experience with group and out patient therapy at Aspire. Marina and Dale are excellent counselors. I especially enjoyed the art and Music therapy, I found it enjoyable and therapeutic. The program helped me to deal with anxiety and taught me coping skills that I have been able to use in my daily life. I have noticed a significant change with communication skills at work and with my loved ones. There has been a significant improvement in the program under the new Director Yajaira. The program changed my life for the better, I’m truly grateful thanks for all the help!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here and feel like I learned a lot to help improve my mental health. The staff here were very helpful and caring. I had never been a part of group therapy prior to Aspire and am glad I followed through with it. If you have been considering group therapy I would recommend you give them a try.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Yajaira at Aspire, and she’s been fantastic. She really listens and gives thoughtful advice that’s very helpful for my treatment. I appreciate how she shares practical tips and techniques that I can use every day. Her sessions feel productive and supportive, and I’m grateful for her guidance. Highly recommend Aspire if you’re looking for a place where they genuinely cares and knows their stuff! P.s. Don't listen to the bad reviews, that was under old management.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible women left. Marina will push you further into crisis, mock you, and fight with you in front of the group. They force yoga with no certified person leading group. Yajara the women in charge gossips about clients with Marina in the hallways frequently instead of behind closed doors. This place is trash.

Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough of the staff here, Yajira and Marina are excellent clinicians. I take away so much from the groups. I am so grateful for this program and how it has helped and continues to help me heal.

Fantastic experience: Aspire is amazing. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or having symptoms of depression Aspire can assist with their new age scientific program. I learned new ways of thinking and changing my thoughts and actions to ultimately bring me to well being. I can actually see a new future free of negativity, drama, and depression. Aspire is a phenomenal program. All I have to do today, and going forward is apply what I have learned. Then I’ll be renewed, rewired by applying new actions into my life. Aspire for well being.

Negative experience: I had done treatment at Aspire for about eight months before, this time i went back and it was the worst experience of my life. My first time going to Aspire was wonderful. We had great staff that cared about you and our art teacher Jill was amazing. Coming back was a disaster. Yajaira one of the therapists there made fun of me after sharing, and Marina, all she did was do yoga and Pilates, which most of us felt uncomfortable with. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had going back to Aspire unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll ever go back. They have terrible staff except Rebecca, Shannon and Julie, everyone else is judgmental and just overall horrible.

Negative experience: I hope no one ever attends Aspire again. Someone named Yajaira who I have never met called my mom and broke my hippa rights and than when I called she let me know my counselor Julie had been let go. Julie was a huge help to me and has helped me find myself when I was lost. Julie and John definitely gave 5 star treatment but with ignoring my hippa rights and talking to my mom I would strongly suggest no one go to Aspire.

Fantastic experience: From the core of my soul and heart I cannot say enough positive things about Julie Romero, the Lead Substance Abuse Counselor at Aspire. This woman goes above and beyond and saves lives. She never gave up on me. She has the education, the personal experience, and the passion and heart that sets her above the rest and is the reason she was able to get through to me when no one else could. I tried the other mental health services Aspire offers. Their other therapists and IOP services mean well, but if you are struggling with an addiction and all else has failed, Julie is the one who can save your life... with all my being I believe the only reason I'm not dead or in jail, and am still fighting and getting stronger is because this woman has the know-how to truly help people in a way other therapists and licensed specialists cannot. Thank you Julie for all you have done for me and my family.

Fantastic experience: We have had a very positive experience there . This last couple if years. They are very caring, patient and flexible. Yojaira ( not sure spelling) Has been so amazing beyond her duties trying to help my son and I. So supportive! What a different experience than bk in 2020.

Fantastic experience: Wow!! Where do I start...great counselors, great facility, Awesome group !! Fabulous friendships made! I highly recommend Aspire counseling services! I came for anxiety & depression help. All those issues are dissipating, and I'm coming up on 11 months of sobriety...go figure!! I'm clean and sober and I'm completely happy with my decision to seek out help at Aspire!!!

Fantastic experience: I called everywhere in my county to try and get a mental health evaluation for licensing purposes . No one else could offer these services but aspire was there to help me . Jessica Cason evaluated me and was very professional and kind. I appreciate the services I was given and would suggest that anybody who needs similar services or is struggling with addiction or trauma to contact aspire counseling .

Negative experience: I did not find Kelly, Lena, Jill, Kim, John, etc. anyone on the staff particularly kind nor friendly. In fact, Kelly was quite rude in group sessions and even downright cruel at times. Lena was also passive aggressive and dismissive as well. I find it really strange how you aren't even ALLOWED to have an opinion on this place without being bombarded by former clients on social media. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this place was a cult the way people embellish and passionately defend it. They promise two different programs IOP+PHP but told me during my intake they are the same thing, false advertising. Secondly, I seriously question the credentials of the staff. To me, it does not seem they have an understanding of emotions or trauma. They sell cheap self-help as a replacement for actual therapy. Kelly and Lena made ZERO effort to listen or try and empathize where I was coming from.. they simply have a very "that's life" attitude and want you to get over it. (They don't care about how you're feeling) Super crass ineffective methods, a lot of favoritism, and straight-up cult-like behavior. Finally, Kelly is a super unaccommodating person I told her because of my learning disability I have to be seated somewhere else during group and she told me I'm not important and my requests don't matter. They don't want to hear about anything you have to say because they don't find your input valid and want you to sit in silence while they give you poor advice. Staff themselves is inconsiderate and produces and even defends egocentric clients...not a safe space. It's not a community at all rather submission. (Submit to what staff says and submit to the way everyone here treats you) People here are super disrespectful and staff does nothing to step in because they teach you in here that no one should consider anyone but themselves. There is tons of tone policing here, they have a rule against being mad but that makes no sense to me. When people are in pain, they feel angry & it's a common symptom of PTSD. They don't teach emotional regulation rather emotional AVOIDANCE. P.S. just want to say I was given a referral to this place after going through some of the scariest things in my life.. and these people did nothing but traumatize me, gaslight me, and made me not want to seek out mental health services ever again.

Fantastic experience: Aspire helped me out of a dark time in my life with a supportive and loving staff who were willing to work with me at my own pace. I learned so much about myself and other people and have come out of it a better person. I could not recommend this facility more!!

Fantastic experience: I entered Aspire at a very low point in my life & in the beginning, was ashamed that I had to be at a place like that. After a week in the program I realized that all of the beautiful souls in there were coming from similar places in their lives & we all wanted to heal & get better. Everyone was so supportive & non-judgemental & there was a great synergy that took place as we all showed up & shared whatever was going on w/us at the time. There is so much humility at Aspire & it is a very safe & nurturing environment to work through your issues at. All the staff was excellent & since they too had all been where we were at one time, they offered true empathy & compassion & everyone was so accepting & kind! I came out of this last episode of depression twice as quickly as I did the year prior & I truly believe that Aspire counseling was a huge part of my healing journey!

Fantastic experience: Aspire has a wonderful facility and amazing staff. They provide multiple services for those going through a tough time, are in a rut, or just need a friend to get on their feet again. I would recommend the counseling services provided there without hesitation. They truly care about their clientele and watching them succeed.

Fantastic experience: Aspire Counseling Services is a great facility for working on depression, anxiety, & self-confidence. Staff is always professional, warm, & courteous. Therapists are wonderful in facilitating groups & individual sessions. Clients definitely feel at home at a place where the get therapy & help.

It feels like home and everyone has welcomed me in. They have made me feel so comfortable and the people that are also in there have totally made me comfortable. I get to be myself with these people. John is amazing he doesn't beat around the bush and truly cares, he's a man of his word. What is really great about this place is they know how to help or deal with different personalities they don't only stick to one moto they genuinely get to know you and find a way to get you on the right track and sober!!

Fantastic experience: This place is AMAZING. They are the ONLY place I’ve seen these days that cares more about the treatment of each client rather then the money. I will say they have the absolute best team of professionals. Jesse is nothing short of a genius and completely down to earth at the same time. John is the the most loyal person I know, as well as being hilarious. He has a way of allowing there to be a little bit of humor in a place that gets to be overly serious. This man will NEVER turn away someone without helping to the best of his abilities. Kim is one of the most caring, loving and encouraging person I have ever met, a true professional and has amazing insight. Kelly is another perfect piece to the puzzle. Her professionalism and knowledge about helping ALL ages of people afflicted with mental health issues... from anxiety to depression, she will help you every step of the way. This team is magical and the facility is beautiful. The facility is better looking then any Beverly Hills or Malibu facility. Don’t be fooled by other treatment centers who aren’t client centered. Give this place a chance. Take a risk and save your life or help save someone else’s life. Aspire has changed the way I live my life. It’s more then a treatment center or mental health facility... it is a community.
