Athletico Physical Therapy - Sioux Falls Central

Fantastic experience: My daughter dislocated her knee and needed complete a few weeks of physical therapy. Athletico was great to work with! It's nice to have options for early evening so we could mitigate missed school and work. Chris did great with her and was very personable. Definitely would return in the event we have any therapy needs in the future.

I play college soccer and I feel confident to return to playing with no brace or tape after about 3 weeks of physical therapy. Chris is very educated and kind. Chris, my PT provider, listened to my concerns, helped build a great care plan for me, and provided me with attainable goals to help me get back to the level of activity I’m I used to having. I felt supported and challenged through the direct support, and I highly recommend Athletico to others.

Fantastic experience: I've been here once for a herniated disc and another time for instability in my lower back with Chris as my physical therapist, and both times I've come out the other side way better than when I went in. Chris is friendly, breaks things down in an easy to understand way, and is quick to change the excersizes up when something isn't working (which was a super nice change from another PT elsewhere that was fixated on one excersize that was making my condition worse). 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Not enough stars can be given to this establishment! First let me say, Ernie is great! Prior to Athletico and over the course of past year I went to Avera before transferring care to Sanford then finally due to scheduling conflicts I found Athletico only to learn it's where I should've have started and been all along. After first visit I felt as if my injury was worked out on, I had that good hurt in pain. I even told Ernie it was the first I actually felt worked out after PT. It wasn't long before I started feeling more strength and having more confidence. I'm now persay graduated from PT after 12 weeks at Athletico, remember, I've been in PT combined and consistently for a year week after week but after Athletico, I don't feel a need to return. Ernie setup me up for success with exercises to take home and I was able to purchase some workout equipment to support those exercises which weren't to expensive.

Their app was easy to use and I was able to find a lot of progress with the issue I came in for. Thanks, Athletico team!

Fantastic experience: First experience with physical therapy outside of college athletics. The process was seamless from initial consult, ongoing treatment and expectations after discharge. I was recommended to go here and I would continue that recommendation.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Athletico and Chris H. He helped me gain strength before having ACL repair and after, helped me understand and answered my many questions on healing. I am a curler and my goal was to get back on the ice. He researched what goes into curling and created a recovery plan so I gained the mobility and strength to get back on the ice! I just curled for the first time and I have never felt stronger on the ice. Athletico is the best place in town!!

Fantastic experience: After a recent 6 hours drive I developed an excruciating knot in the muscle just above my left shoulder blade. I was referred to the Athletico Clinic, which was just a few blocks away from my house, in Sioux Falls. They carried out deep muscle manipulation and 'dry needling' which I had never heard of before. I guess it is like an acupuncture needle but, without feeling a thing, it is inserted into the area of the knot and an electrical impulse is sent into it. The first time it made things more sore but, now, after just six sessions over a 3 week period of time, it is completely healed and was relatively pain free after 3 sessions and I can sleep soundly at night again. Thank you Chris for what you've done for me. I will recommend you and the Athletico Clinic to anyone I come across with pain issues!

Fantastic experience: I had therapy done on my hip there , as I was so blown away about knowledge for my hip , I was given exercises to do at home as well as there when I was in therapy , they strengthened my muscles , and pushed me to my level where I needed to be for my 9 treatments I had , thanks for all your work!!

I really had nothing to worry about, the receptionist made me feel comfortable right away. My physical therapist is totally amazing, he pushes me hard to accomplish my goal. I'm going on a month and I'm so happy of what I've accomplished so far... The hospitality and encouragement they provide will definitely get me to reach my goal...

Fantastic experience: Working with Athletico for my physical therapy has been great. Scheduling has been a breeze and the staff is so friendly. I have been seeing Ernie for a hip issue (both pre/post surgery) and he is very thorough and knowledgeable. My recovery has been smooth and I give Ernie much of the credit! Being in a healthcare profession myself I am very picky about who I see for care, which means that I don’t just give praise to anyone. I would definitely recommend this location if you are in need of a physical therapist that takes all aspects of your recovery into consideration.

Positive experience: When I started seeing Ernie, my Achilles tendons were making it impossible to walk without pain. He took the time to figure out what was going on and now I'm without pain more than I'm with it. He gave me the tools I need to continue to recover on my own. I would definitely recommend them.

The physical therapists are very knowledgeable and always ask if there is pain and take care of the needs of their customers. The facility is clean and organized.
