Fantastic experience: I have been working with Lori for some time. She is an amazing women and has so much knowledge! She has helped with my Diastasis Recti and is helping me strengthen my pelvic floor after my baby! Lori is very calming and super sweet. Fantastic experience: I was around 35 weeks pregnant when I started my journey of pelvic floor therapy. I worked with Lori and cannot say enough great things about her. She has such a calming presence and has so much knowledge and wisdom to share! During my weeks with Lori, we not only improved urinary frequency/urgency feelings but we also on general pelvic tension/relaxation cues and breathing exercises that really did help when I was in labor! As an added bonus, during my appointments we also focused on my low back back that I was having. I definitely felt like each session was specifically designed for me and my needs and helping me prepare for each step of the pregnancy and labor

Fantastic experience: Have absolutely loved working with Dr. Gina for the last few months in PT. She has made me super comfortable in a situation I think many women would be nervous about and is pretty vulnerable. I love how she meets you where you are with exercises, does a combination of hands on and hands off techniques, is extremely knowledgeable about so many PT topics, and is easy to talk to. Hoping the things we are working on currently helping prevent pelvic pain in my next pregnancy! While I have not received PT from Dr. Marysa, I have spent quite a bit of time with her during Baby Lounge, which she co hosts! She is super super easy to talk to and has always been helpful in regards to my questions both PT related and other topics! All of the staff I have interacted with at Uprise Pelvic Health have been approachable, helpful, and overall just pleasant to be around. The facilities and clean, comfortable, and inviting. I have had a lovely experience and look forward to continue working with them.

The office is very welcoming, during my consultation she was very understanding and listened to all of my concerns. She also was prepared and reviewed my paperwork prior to my appointment. Fantastic experience: I've just started pelvic floor physical therapy at Uprise and I'm very happy with the experience so far. I've seen Dr. Marysa and she's helped me understand that the central nervous system is also a big part in healing the pelvic floor. I've been to other pelvic floor physical therapist and what I like about Dr. Marysa is that she cares about the whole body when she is helping you heal and she is patient and I don't feel rushed and she's really easy to talk to.

Fantastic experience: Uprise Pelvic Health is truly the best for pelvic floor therapy in the Sioux Falls area. I've had prolapse since 2018 and saw another pelvic floor therapy provider then, and was given some kegel exercises and sent on my way. But, my prolapse progressed and after having prolapse surgery in the fall of 2023, I knew I wanted to protect my prolapse repairs and strengthen my pelvic floor, so I looked into pelvic floor therapy again. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from pelvic floor therapy this time around. I was a little nervous about the internal work, but Uprise has made it so comfortable and easy, and has normalized all the tough questions about anatomy, sex, pelvic floor repairs, and recovery. Also, the pelvic floor rehabilitation I've received with Uprise Pelvic Health has been exactly what I've needed, and so much more comprehensive than my previous pelvic floor therapy. At Uprise, I've learned about how my breathing patterns impact my pelvic floor. I've been shown how to use my lower abdominal muscles, which I didn't even know I wasn't engaging before. We've been systematically working through each body system (breathing, abdominal muscles, glutes, etc) that impact my pelvic floor functions to make sure I'm using them correctly, and strengthening them, all while doing it in such a sensitive, patient centered way. When I'm not sure if I'm doing something correctly, we take the time to make sure, and it's so reassuring. Making the decision to pursue pelvic floor therapy isn't easy, and financially it can cost more to do it with a provider who doesn't bill insurance for you. But, I've been so grateful I did. And after submitting my own claims and using our HSA, it doesn't cost that much more than an in network provider. Working with Uprise Pelvic Health has been so worth it because I've been able to work on goals that are important for me and my life, and on a timeline that works for me, not what an insurance company dictates. I'm able to ask all the questions I have and know that my provider is able to spend her time and energy to give me the best pelvic floor therapy possible, not thinking about insurance companies.

Fantastic experience: I have been on a long road of recovery after a full hysterectomy with a mass removal. In the process I had a Dr. recommend trying a different PT and gave me a referral. In this suggestion I did some searching on my own and this is how I found my way to Marysa. She was so kind and informative during the discovery call. In my sessions with Marysa you can tell she genuinely has a passion for what she is doing. I feel she does a great job of coming along side you and finding a good pace for you and your body. The visceral manipulation is amazing. I also choose to try dry needling in this process and she does a great job of staying very aware of how it is feeling for you and takes care in not over using it as well. Its been a wonderful experience!
