Fantastic experience: PPT offers 2 specialty types of physical therapy: 1) vestibular PT: vertigo,gait,balance, concussions,falls; and symptoms related to Parkinson’s/MS 2) Pelvic Health: bathroom & sexual health; broken pelvis. Our staff is friendly, caring, & supportive. We strive to ensure patients feel welcomed, heard, and successful with their visits & care.

Fantastic experience: I've been receiving outstanding care from Shelby G., DPT, at Providence Physical Therapy for pelvic floor therapy, and I'm extremely grateful for her expertise and the staff's support. She takes the time to thoroughly address my questions and provide clear explanations that are easy to understand and incorporate into my daily life. I recommended this office to my mother who is now seeing a different provider but she is equally happy with her care.

Negative experience: They require referrals which is a waste of time and money for patients with insurance that does not require it!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am a 34 y.o. female patient of Shelby and I wanted to share a bit about my experience with her and the staff at Providence Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center. I see Shelby for pelvic floor PT, and without getting into too much detail, was suffering for years due to 2 disorders that affect that region of my body. I started PT with Shelby as a last resort and at the insistence of fellow IC/Endo sufferers. I had low expectations and was nervous about the entire process! Going on my 8th month working with Shelby I can confidently say that PT has changed/saved my life. I now consider Shelby my first line of defense for my diseases and my medications/diet as secondary. Shelby not only has extensive knowledge in her field but she tailors the treatment to fit the patients specific needs, it never feels like cookie cutter advice. Shelby puts me at ease and makes conversations about sometimes embarrassing functions of our bodies feel normal to talk about. Due to my conditions I see doctors many times a year with sometimes uncomfortable tests/exams, and I can say with evidence that because of how comfortable Shelby makes me feel those exams with her are either painless or at very low pain levels. Shelby has inadvertently helped with my anxiety as well, the stretches I have been taught to do at home are often the best and most relaxing part of my day. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. I do want to note that the staff at the center are also very kind and respectful, especially the front desk person, Alyssa. They always greet me by name, take careful time to schedule appointments that work for me, and an example of just how much she cares about the patients at the clinic, has even met me in the parking lot to ensure I was not blocked into a parking spot! If you're hesitant about starting PT of any kind, that is totally valid and understandable but I hope that this post may take away even just a little bit of that hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Due to an acoustic neuroma I arrived at Fyzical unable to walk straight and with constant severe dizziness and nausea even while on a boatload of medication.. I began working with Taylor (who “tailored” a program just for me — lol). With her coaching & confidence in me & my hard work and patience - my brain has compensated for the destroyed balance nerve - today I was able to ride my bike for the first time including with NO HANDS with perfect balance. I have returned to 60% of my activities and am better in some areas than I have been in years. I anticipate continued improvement and an so thankful for the specialized care I received at Fyzical.
