Fantastic experience: I love Dutch physical therapy, Chris pays attention to detail and puts together a program that’s really going to target your concerns and problem areas. He doesn’t work with aggression. He really works hard on those areas without overdoing them. Chris goes to your pain but not through your pain which really makes a difference in your care plan . I highly, highly recommend Chris for your therapist whenever you need one , you will not be disappointed and I think he’s an awesome therapist !!!!

Fantastic experience: There is no waiting, as soon as you arrive they get you moving. Very friendly, helpful and professional. They listen to your input and decide the treatment that will get you back into the game as quickly as possible. But not too fast only when they think you are ready.

Fantastic experience: My condition requires me to have PT regularly. I started PT at another place, I did not see any progress, so I switched to Dutch PT. This is when progress started to happen. I have been with them for over a year. My therapists are Mirjam and Chris. They both make me feel very at ease. What I like most is that they both have a good clinical sense, they listen thoroughly, and they approach my concerns with confidence. They are very conscientious therapists. I know my issue is a little complex but I trust that I will get the best physical therapy at Dutch. The staff is very professional, I would mention especially, Judy and Stella , who make sure that the administrative work is done properly. I recommend Dutch PT to whoever is in need for physical therapy.

At almost 66 years young after suffering with chronic back pain for decades and ending up on the floor not being able to move from an episode I decided to try something different. After 19 session with Dutch PT I left in good enough shape to go on vacation that included slalom water skiing for four consecutive days for the first time in 17 years. I now have the knowledge to recognize when I am approching a crisis and have the skills to mitigate the problem. Thanks again to Mirjam for your dedication and skills!!

Fantastic experience: 13 year old son had a torn PCL. Chris Fussel (quite the character) initiated the therapy and was awesome. Connected with my son resulting in an understanding of what the exercises were doing for him. He gave us daily morning routines for at home that set the pace for the recovery. Schedule constraints caused a change and Mirjam took over the therapy. There were other patients there but we felt like we were the only ones. The attention, the guidance, the education, and of course the results were first class. Our last appointment ended in hugs. He definitely built a bond with them.

I particularly appreciate their ability to teach the patient how and why to do specific exercises but also how to continue exercising by myself at home w/o further supervision or instruction. Fantastic experience: Miriam Madden my PT is a very patient therapist that explain things about MS or my body that’s pretty cool and she’s a good workout coach. And Judy Lane the assistant PT is a pretty good workout coach as well they both demonstrate the workout I preform and correct me to help me do the workout well so I receive the benefit of the workout.

Fantastic experience: If you are thinking about attending physical therapy for neck or back pain, make Dutch PT your first choice. I started PT with the expectation that little could be done about the hernated disc in my neck. To my surprise, the McKenzie-method physical therapy that is Dutch PT's specialty made a huge difference in my daily experience of pain from the herniated disc. Over several months of treatment, she showed a consistent attention to detail that is difficult to beat. Her emphasis on postural correction has helped me to maintain the gains made in physical therapy, and the improvement has proved durable for over six months now. Mirjam has been a fixture in Baton Rouge for decades, and is probably the only practitioner dedicated to Mckenzie methods of spinal therapy in the area.

They've always been professional, informative, pleasant, and successful at helping me both to fix the problem and to avoid having the same problems again.

I chose PT over injections and have been very satisfied with Dutch Physical Therapy's process and my treatment. Their knowledge and adjustement in treatment to my specific back issues was in depth and has produced possitive results. I'd previously tried other PTs and they didn't get it done. Fantastic experience: I developed a pretty bad pain between my shoulder blades. It was getting much worse and pain was shooting down my arm. I was hoping it was just my back. My doc offered PT, which had not worked for me in the past. But Dutch worked. I had a total of 15 appointments and my pain is gone completely. Mirjam and her team instructed me on how to do the McKenzie method exercises. If the pain comes back, I can use these exercises to get rid of the pain myself in the future. Everyone was very professional, yet friendly. The exercises were super easy. I would recommend Dutch PT highly.

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I have been to Dutch. I had very successful rehab after rotator cuff surgery. My husband had muscle spasms in his back which they were able to take care of. We found them to be very professional, helpful, and positive in their outlook. We really won't go anywhere else.
