Positive experience: Great difficulty parking but otherwise a great place
Fantastic experience: Kaitlyn Tucker, CNP is a breath of fresh air. Very kind, empathetic, caring, organized, and professional. I hope she doesn’t leave the clinic like my last 7 or so providers. I have definitely been ready to leave Springfield Clinic; however, she and Sydney (Nurse/Tech) may be able to salvage this relationship.

Negative experience: The check in and wait time was long. They did finally tell us that they were approximately 1 1/2 hrs behind! Some patients left! No one was happy of course. When I got back to the room (only 1/2 wait) the nurse was very quick and Dr Pham was in shortly after that, that went ok.

Fantastic experience: Springfield clinic, urology is nothing short of “top drawer” meaning that if it wasn’t for this particular department and their incredible staff, I would probably be gone by now. They were able to find and handle my cancerous tumor and my follow up regarding other health issues has been nothing short of miraculous. I am extremely impressed and recommend this particular practice to as many people in need as I can offer.

Fantastic experience: I see Megan Griggs for botox spot injections for my kneck, in treatment to my kneck and head pain due to nerve/disk issue and general tension headaches. All of the staff be nurse or staff to Megan are extremely friendly, kind , touch of humor when approached with humor. Shes extremely kind with great "bedside manners" as some call it. She gets me right in and right out. Ive done the best I have ever done in 8 years since the onset of my wreck. I trust the process and the results. Im truly very thankful for all of it. Again super kind, ive never felt as if she doesnt understand or believe my issues. She isnt a pill pusher. If you do try for example a migraine preventive and dont see results and quit taking it, she didnt scold me, look at me like I was goofy and quit taking a medicine. She listened to my experience I described and simply told me we have other options to explore if necessary.

Fantastic experience: I am always called back to see the physician within 5 minute of arrival. Physicians never rush my appointments, they always explain procedures, my plan of care and results of tests. I do feel Springfield Clinic is hiring too many NP's, PA's, etc. instead of more adding qualified physicians.

Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Megan Greggs today for the first time. She is replacing Dr. Gelber who retired the end of 12/2024. She was very nice, professional, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. She added a new medicine to take with my current medicine for restless leg syndrome to help at bedtime. I am very pleased to have her as my new doctor.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice and helpful, from the lady who helped with her wheel chair in the lobby to the sweet nurse/doctor who held the bathroom door for us, to the doctor and her associates. Mom doesn’t get around very good and was kind, patient and helpful. K Tucker was knowledgeable and listened and explained things very well. Very nice.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Springfield Clinic for 5 years now. Zero complaints. Their care has been excellent. I moved here from Houston which is known as an international health care center, and I can justifiably say that Springfield Clinic is equal to Houston on a smaller, perhaps more personable scale. Fantastic experience: As a disabled military veteran/wounded warrior, I rely on the VA Healthcare System for ALL my care. Of course many of my healthcare needs are not available within the VA System, so I see/have seen Specialists with the Spfld Clinic(SC). In fact, all my surgeries & procedures were conducted by Spfld Clinic providers. At times it is frustrating when dealing with the Veterans Healthcare Administration, fax this referral, obtain that authorization, summarize visits, etc., but you would never know it by the care and attention SC staff provides. Truly top notch! Thank you TEAMMATES!

Fantastic experience: Jenna Pelc, NP in neurology, has made a huge difference in my life. She listens to me even when it's hard for me to explain issues. (I see her primarily for migraine management.) She has referred me to other providers when appropriate. Jenna continues to go the extra mile for me! Her neurology support staff is always friendly and helpful, too!

Negative experience: Springfield locations are rude and I know they were taught to treat patients better as I’ve went through prostration myself as a Springfield employee I’ve called to get information about my medical records and the lady literally transferred me over without a word to an answering service where I can only leave a voicemail and I told her I needed this information as soon as possible. And it’s now happened for two different Springfield locations but this one without a word she transferred me over. Rude
Fantastic experience: Great! The nurse practitioner was phenomenal, informative and educational. She explained in great detail what they would do and what the Lab results could be. We had a great communication in and out. The staff was supportive and great very nice. Highly recommend his office to anybody and everybody.

Fantastic experience: Day of appointment went well. Original appointment following echocardiogram was cancelled. When I returned the call, I initially was offered a reschedule some 30 days later. That lit my short fuse and I proceeded to tell the person in no uncertain terms that was not acceptable. I received a later call and accepted an offer of a cancelled appointment slot which more acceptable.
Fantastic experience: Staff were great. I arrived only a few minutes early and got right in. Asked lots of questions, provided detailed answers to my questions & did an amazing job, leaving me feeling cared for. Only concern is parking!

Fantastic experience: Doctors, RNs,Support staff, and even Car Valets are great people. Please plan to get to your appointment earlier. This building in downtown Springfield is surrounded by one way streets and is really busy. Entrance Parking lot circle is laid out really bad. Not uncommon that the line for drop off blocks the lot entrance. Foot traffic also clogs the parking area. Thought I was early to appointment but got stuck in parking lot nightmare.

Fantastic experience: I was treated in professional and timely manner by the staff. I was informed of another possible condition that they found during routine testing. There has been more tests ordered. I happy to know that they are not just treating me for one thing and moving on. I had been treated for kidney stones and was informed that everything looked good. But they found other things that concerned them. Thank God they do their jobs so well.

Katie, the nurse who took myvitals, asked if she could get a coffee or water for me as I had been required to fast. My nurse practitioner was very professional and very patient with me. Fantastic experience: Greeted at the entrance and guided by friendly volunteers. Clean and professional building and office space. Desk staff was very professional and patient with older people checking in beside me. Waited 5 or so minutes in waiting area and less than 5 in exam room. Prompt, friendly visit with Macey Wiseman who took her time to listen and answer questions. Very happy with this appointment experience.

Positive experience: Was early for appt and waited 39 minutes after appt was scheduled to see the PA… I got all of 2 minutes of her time and she showed no real interest in why I was there… made an assumption as to what my problem was … ordered no tests… and gave me a new prescription for my complaint …..

Fantastic experience: I saw my provider with neuro and the infusion unit . Everyone was amazing . My provider shows such concern for my pain and migraines and always finds a solution. The infusion nurse was knowledgeable , explained the process and was very kind and personable . I recommend all my friends & family to SC.

Fantastic experience: The ladies at the radiology desk are clearly kept busy! The one that checked me in for my appointment was very nice, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. The tech that did my exam was very professional and kept me updated on the progress of my exam. When making my follow-up appointment, the tech let me know that rescheduling my appointment would not be a problem and even gave me her direct extension. I did witness one tech interact with another customer, the father of a boy that was there to get an xray of his foot/leg, in a not-so-friendly way. Overall, my experience was good.

Fantastic experience: The sonographer who did my ECHO was warm & friendly. It was difficult for me to lie on my left side with the head of the stretcher up. She immediately adjusted the stretcher so that I could be more comfortable. 3 nurses came in one at a time to attempt an IV for the bubble study with no one sticking me more than once. The 3rd nurse got the IV & the bubble study was completed.

Fantastic experience: Got into the orthopedic clinic right away. The employees at the front desk were very nice and explained the procedure. The. Doctor who treated me was very thorough. I got be a brace for my hand and have been wearing it. So far so good.

Fantastic experience: Visited the walk-in orthopedic clinic at 800 N. 1st St. yesterday for sudden onset knee pain. Staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful from the front desk to the radiology techs and nurses. PA Lisa Lyons was thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The text I received with a link to notes from my visit was a nice touch and very beneficial. Thank you all for the great experience.

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing new pain (rated as a 7 on a 10 point scale) in my knee about 9 weeks after surgery and they were able to get me in to Dr Wolters NP, Elizabeth Cheney, the next morning. She ordered X-rays, was thorough with her exam and prescribed an anti-inflammatory she believed will relieve the pain. This was my first experience with her and she was extremely pleasant and truly seemed concerned about my pain.

Negative experience: Scheduled first post up follow up from emergency surgeries, had no warning of needing a new day-of X-rays so I showed up to scheduled appointment time 15 minutes early. Couldn’t get to my appointment for almost 2 hours because I had to wait for new X-rays to be taken in radiology department, which meant not being able to pick up my kids in time from school and daycare. Building is nice but not laid out the best. Dragging people with major injuries all over the building who are there to see an orthopedic surgeon isn’t good for the patients or the pain they’re probably in if they’re seeing a bone surgeon. A heads up ahead of time would be tremendously helpful.

Positive experience: They were very quick at getting me in to see the doctor. And my doctor was kind and considerate. He had me feeling at ease. Positive experience: Check-in was quick. Additional x-ray requested during check-in. If I had known an x-ray was ordered, I would have planned to arrive earlier. Also I was asked to complete a new patient form when I have been a Springfield Clinic patient most of my life. Again, other info was forwarded on advance. If I had known there was more info to complete, I would have come earlier. It was difficult to complete the paperwork while being shuttled around waiting rooms and x-rays. With all the rushing around staff were pleasant but also seemed rushed. Everybody was in a hurry. Nurse forgot to take heart rate and had to return. Doctor was pleasant, professional, and thorough. Nurse brought back physical therapy order. RX ordered and ready for pickup shortly thereafter. I left the office feeling like I had been through a meat grinder. It was a relief to be out of the building.
Fantastic experience: Excellent staff including the Physician. From the door steps of the building to all the way through check-in, X-ray staff, nurse and finally the Physician, everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Thank you Springfield Clinic for all that you do for your patients who are treated as family members. My visit was in Orthopedic walk-in facility.

Fantastic experience: I accidentally went to the wrong building today for my MRI appointment (I went to the 900 building instead of the 800 building) and a very nice girl named Delaney (she has light brown hair) in the Radiology area overheard that I was not in the right place and she walked with me all the way to the 900 building and made sure I was in the right spot! I was really nervous for my appointment and her kindness really helped!

Positive experience: Dr Jha is a 5 Star Cardiologist. In fact currently 3 generations of my family are patients and another is in the process of switching from SIU Cardiology to Dr. Jha. The valet service is great to have. Particularly when both the driver and the patient have difficulty walking. Very polite as well. Now here are my 2 reasons for the 4 instead of 5 Star review. I preregistered using the link I received via text few days before my appt. I arrived right at my appt time and check-in was literally less than 30 seconds. Then we sat in the waiting room for 45 mins before getting called back. I had a good time talking with my mom while waiting but most of the time I’m on a time frame. My previous visit had a 15 min wait before being called back and then a 45 min wait after my EKG for Dr. Jha to come in. This time we only waited about 10 mins to see Dr. Jha once in the exam room. Everyone was very nice and apologetic for the delays. There were a lot of patients there. Both sides of waiting room were nearly fully. Other than that I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the staff, nurses or doctors. My appt was at the Springfield Clinic 1st location. My other family members typically see him at the Jacksonville location.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my visit here. I seen orthopedic and got X-rays. I want to praise the X-ray tech, I didn't get her name, but I had built up a lot of anxiety about another X-ray that was extremely painful and she did the X-ray without any pain. I felt so much relief when it didn't hurt. Thank you so much. Also thanks to Amy Armstrong for helping me with my pain today. ☺️

Fantastic experience: The people in the Orthopedics Department at Spfld Clinic are the best, from the desk girls to the radiology techs to the nurses and the doctors. I have had positive experiences from my first visit and in all the 10?? visits since. Very grateful for the care I have been given.

Fantastic experience: Easy scheduling, text reminders, quick check-in, friendly staff. The mammogram was done quickly and politely. I did have to wait a little longer than usual to get into the examining room but the delay was explained and there was an apology.

Fantastic experience: At check in I was quickly greeted, didn't have to wait long and was promptly brought in for my test. The test was read in a timely manner and then sonogram was in next room over. Someone went to the. Waiting area to get my fiancé. And we received the results before I left that. Everything looks good and I would have a regular Mammogram next year.

Fantastic experience: I receive a monthly Infusion, and the girls that you have working there are fantastic. Very concerned on how you are doing and asking you if you need anything such as a warm blanket, water, and etc. Very concerned for patients comfort. They deserve all five stars.

Fantastic experience: I had mammogram appointment with the radiology department. The receptionist is very helpful. I went to the wrong building and she accommodated me to get the new schedule. The technologist, Leslie, is very nice and professional.
