Negative experience: Most of the therapists appeared to be uninterested in helping patients very brash. From my observation the staff displayed inattentiveness while dealing with patients. My therapist lacked compassion, displayed horrible bedside manners. Having effective communicative skills was definitely not my therapist strong point’s. Having a dismissive and condescending tone while being a physical therapist diminishes the patients experience and dignity. The environment was very depressing, very small and over crowded in this location. I wouldn’t ever recommend ATI to anyone for physical therapy.

Negative experience: Talk about an individual that doesn't show interest in working or helping people that are seeking physical help. At first he told me about the importance of having the evaluation and then saying that once that's done they can set you up anytime a slot becomes available. It seem great because of my busy schedule I did go to one of their other location on a Saturday which they are not always available. I tried setting something up that day but because hes not actually an employee from ATI he couldn't set me up. So after calling couple times and not having any luck for that week i called the following Monday to see if they can squeeze me in any time soon and he said over the phone bluntly that they don't have anything till 3 weeks out and if that doesn't work for me I could go elsewhere. Nothing he could do. Not what i expected from this person.. well guess what I actually did and found a great spot that day and had an appointment the next day with a different company and It's been over 3 weeks now and it's night and day with my shoulder /neck pain. I'm glad I went elsewhere as that facility seemed lacking something and although the other 2 individual seemed nice that other individual made it feel unwelcoming. I should have trusted my gut the first day I was asking questions and wanting to set something with them. The young lady seemed eager to help me but that gentleman just kept contradicting her, telling her to have me call to set up an appointment. Gave me the card and told me to have my Doc send the info and then they can work on setting up an evaluation appointment with their customer service over the phone. Should have known. My experience may not be others but I realized how much the other company I'm going to shows the will of helping me even if its for business. Something to think of when shopping around for treatment. Thanks ATI but no thanks.

Fantastic experience: I've been to this location for physical therapy for several weeks now and would definitely recommend their services! I've received a personalized plan to address the underlying cause of my foot problems and have gotten the time and attention needed from my physical therapist during each appointment.

Fantastic experience: Amazing therapists. If u walk in their door, be prepared to work. They don't look at your age (which i love!) and worry if u can work for one solid hour... u r there to get better and they are there to help u do just that. I believe they will have me walking without a walker if I do what they say. I've been to other places, but would recommend this one to everyone who is serious about their goals.

Positive experience: Lots of great exercises that are really helpful with pain from Achilles tendinitis. My therapist is very good, too! I just wish the atmosphere was a bit more upbeat and that the therapists would smile more and look like they enjoyed their work.

Negative experience: My therapist just started rubbing my thighs without me knowing and felt very uncomfortable. Also I was having conversations with the guy and he just cuts me off all rude. The place is just not for me. I went to one visit and never went back. Don't care for the place.

Negative experience: The therapist said my Dr’s assessment of my medical issue was wrong, and I couldn’t possibly have that diagnosis, due to certain reasons. The next time I had a PT session, I brought printouts from the website, showing the therapist was wrong. He didn’t monitor my posture or how I was doing. I canceled my future appointments. I’ll never go there again.

Fantastic experience: My mom is taking PT here. And Joey has been a great trainer for her! He is kind and patient. My mom is 90 years old!

Negative experience: PT is fine, but their billing department is staffed with incompetent people. I had to make 2 calls on different days, both lasting 20 minutes, and never got the problem solved. I canceled follow-up appointments. I'm going elsewhere.

Negative experience: They say on the recording when you first call that they will check to verify your insurance prior to making a appointment. They did not even though I spoke to 3 different schedulers. After the 1st appointment they call and said they are not in network now I owe a large bill.

Negative experience: Bedside manor lacking to say the absolute least

Fantastic experience: Staff is very knowledgeable about what muscles to work on and strengthen in order for you to do your daily activities. So far staff has been very helpful and friendly, I’m hoping for a favorable outcome to my injury. I highly recommend ATI for all your muscle needs.

Positive experience: When I walked in, there were 2 young ladies who saw me enter & not a word. No, welcome in we'll be with you shortly. I felt uncomfortable. After I sat for 10 mins or so, a young man gave me extra paperwork to fill out & at least acknowledged me. Couldn't help me because it was mostly a finger on my hand. He helped as much as he could, but I ended up with the phone number for Desert Hands which I appreciated. I worked in Customer Service for years & it doesn't take brains to let a person coming through the door to let them know you saw & welcomed them. I would've walked out if the young man didn't help me

Negative experience: Don’t remember the girls name, but right off the bat she said she doesn’t read X-Rays. The doctor had told us it was very important that they read the report and X-Ray. I have had more pain than I had before I went in. Also I have hip joint pain now which I never had before. I go see the surgeon today to see if her report canceled my surgery. One of my vertebrae shifted out of line and L5, 4, 3 are all bone on bone. The surgeon had planned on surgery from the front. 3 days later later fusing from back with metal straps and screws. Insurance was waiting for her report before surgery approval. She said she was going to report that she could help me in 4 weeks. She better not have messed up my surgery.

Fantastic experience: I have seen these pros for various problems over the years- the most recent being a disc protrusion and subsequent sciatic pain from that and other back and butt muscles pressing on nerve. I was with them for over 3 months and credit their exercises ,cupping , dry needling and massage for my recovery This one has been a toughie but their expertise kindness humor and same commitment to my recovery that I have made all the difference. Wouldn’t go anywhere else ! Mahalo nui

Fantastic experience: I have enjoyed going to ATI to restore my health after hip replacement surgery. There team of therapists are professional, knowledgable and caring. I can already see improvement in only two weeks time.

Fantastic experience: Joseph did a great job, his knowledge and confidence at what he was doing, gave me confidence in what he was directing me to do and I couldn’t have had a better experience with the dry needling felt great, I would definitely recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: These guys do an excellent job getting you back on your feet, or I should say back. I came in last week walking on my cane, with an level ten pain in my back. This week I’m walking without my cane and the pain is at an level 4. I’m amazed and so grateful. Thank you ATI. Love it.

Negative experience: Horrible phone service. Made an appointment. Confirmed referral received and appt. Had a phone call and man was surprised we had an appointment at the clinic. I called again. No appt but after 20 minutes on hold, said they could see us at the time original apps. But when I said we had to drive there and it was 11:30 already for the 12:00 apps I did say we may be a couple of minutes late. She put me on hold again and came back and said therapist couldn't see us. Fine although I had checked and it was 2 miles away, we would have made it. No way would we use this facility. Surprise

Fantastic experience: The staff at ATI on Bell and Litchfield Rds in Surprise are awesome. One cannot ask for more knowledgeable or caring physical therapists.

Fantastic experience: Great therapist who takes the time to explain my questions. Knowledgeable in how to get the most out of my conditions without pushing to far. Very cognizant of my breathing problem (COPD), and lets me catch .my breath before moving on to the next exercise. Thank you for your efforts in helping me regain some leg strength.

Fantastic experience: I find the exercises done at PT extremely beneficial. I feel I have made a huge improvement with my injured arm and I am only 1/2 way through. Nick and the associates are great!

The PTsare skilled, knowledgeable, friendly and really care about my health. I want to make a special shout out for Jonathan and Nick at the Surprise Clinic and Wendy at the Sun City Clinic who all took very good care of me.

Fantastic experience: I was initially skeptical regarding PT for my ankle after surgery - believing it would take a long time to see results or possibly be a waste of time. Boy, was I wrong. Within just a couple of weeks I have noticed significant improvement in strength and the daily pain I had been suffering, prior to PT, is almost completely gone. The entire experience at ATI has been amazing and the therapists are caring, personable, highly trained and experienced, and basically just great at their jobs! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to get physical therapy. I just started a couple of weeks ago. Everyone working here are extremely helpful and they care about you improving on your mobility in day to day life. Awesome staff working there I have absolutely no complaints.

Joey has been really good at adjusting my routine as needed so I can be successful. He makes sure I do the exercises correctly and encourages me. Really enjoy working with him.

Fantastic experience: Everyone working there was nice, friendly and helpful but TREVOR my PT was AWESOME. My walking, balance and strength in legs is so much better now than ever. Trevor gave me many useful tips and I could actually see myself improving each week. I am happy I came to this location.

Got rid of my headache and I’m gaining motion and strength back. He’s an awesome kid and he’s helped me so much just in three visits.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient of ATI physical therapy in Surprise for several months after an ACL surgery. I was evaluated by Doug, but was transferred to Jack and Ryanne’s care and I am grateful for the detail and care that was put into my treatment by them both. I do not believe I would have gotten this far without the two of them specifically. I had problems for over 14 years in regards to my knee. I was not able to run or jump without pain. Now I am able to accomplish full range of motion and play with my children without issues. Jack and Ryanne provided a fun and light hearted environment in addition to always being knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to my needs. Ryanne especially was very personable and thoughtful. I do not think I could have received better treatment from anyone else and would return to them for any future physical therapy. They are truly a great team and I am thankful to have had them as my Physical Therapists.

Fantastic experience: I have chronic neck pain. My therapist, Jack, has given me deep neck massage and easy to do exercises. I am amazed and grateful for the relief from pain after only 3 weeks. I highly recommend ATI!

Positive experience: Jack Little is a great physical therapist. However I've been passed to a lady named Ryan. She caused me too much pain during & after my visit. I'm going to physical therapy to get better not worse.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly, efficient and very good at what they do. Their scheduling keeps everything running on time for easy planning

Negative experience: ATI has weird employees who don't make their customers feel welcome. Most of them are too busy on their cell phones to talk to their customers. I feel like an inconvenience when I go there. Your billing is bad too. Your employees are supposed to collect payment on the day of service. I am still receiving incorrect bills months after my visits.

Positive experience: I like the place and the people. The process for improvement is understandable. I do think that the personnel do not communicate with me very well, they do not develop a relationship with the client, like myself. They do spend a lot of time talking among themselves, things that we clients don't need to be hearing. On a day when the house is fill, it sounds chaotic and distracting. And the background music is often too loud to be relaxing. Thus, only 4 stars.
