Negative experience: The beer was warm & flat, and the bartender was too busy filming TikToks of her "signature cocktail" to bother with our empty glasses. Plus it took 45 minutes to get my chicken tenders & they were still raw in the middle!

Negative experience: My daughter went there today for help detoxing from xlacaine. She sat there all after noon and was finally told there was no doctor for intake and they couldnt handle the levels she was doing and she need more medical help. No recommendation for other detox centers or any help of any kind. Complete fail. N.Y treatment centers are a joke. They don't want healing they want dependency and Medicaid funds to keep coming. Sickening, disgusting and heartbreaking. These are human being searching for a way out and N.Y. is locking the door.

Fantastic experience: If I could give this place a place amongst the stars I would. I rate this 10 out of 5. Excellent staff from the cleaning crew the kitchen (chef, the aunties) to the CA to the counselors and of course the nursing and medical staff!!! All the employees truly went above and beyond for me during my time of healing. The experience is what you make of it honestly from person to person but I got so very much and I am heading to my next step any day now. I've used many tools I learned while in there but most importantly I learned to respect and believe in my program of recovery again and I plan to keep climbing. Thank you to all of you for believing in me until I could get my strength to believe in myself again . Just for today!

Negative experience: I would give negative stars if I could. It's the easiest place to get into for detox and one of the only few that offer methadone so sadly some are forced into treatment there but believe me when I say hold out for somewhere else. If you need serious care coming off off opiates or alcohol this place will just delay your recovery while you suffer worse conditions more uncomfortable than doing it on your own. It's cold, dirty and you're hungry the entire time. Breakfast today was the last straw, untoasted English muffin and plain grits with 2 slabs of turkey sausage and grape jelly. The cafeteria workers are extremely rude when you request something like butter or not grape jelly or juice or vegan options. For the sake of your recovery find someplace that you are not just a paycheck to them. I would love for any of the staff to choke down a dry untoasted English muffin, I guess maybe you could soak it in your bowl of nasty ass plain grits if it gets stuck in your throat. I seriously left this morning to go straight to Dennys I couldn't take it. Requested a salad for lunch and PBJ for dinner incase some poor soul doesn't want turkey for dinner and get shit on by staff for asking them to throw in a cup of peanut butter and a slice of bread into a container, hopefully they still make it even though i left and maybe they can share the extra meal since there is nothing, i mean nothing but unsweetened applesauce and cheese popcorn upstairs they keep locked up. Sorry it's such a long review but I rather have to explain why I left than stay hungry one more night to my outpatient.

Negative experience: Deplorable to say the least think I need recommend some other place since these people don't talk to each other about treatment

Negative experience: With all these reviews I'm afraid to go...What's the point of inpatient detox if you're not going to make the person comfortable?. Wouldn't that make us want to run and use ASAP?..With that being said it's no wonder people aren't remaining clean in Syracuse and why ppl can't make it THRU the detox process..It's very disheartening

Fantastic experience: So as a client I thought I would share my "unadulterated" thoughts on Helio Health. First of all, lets start with rehab in general. It's a horribly uncomfortable process that will eventually save your life. This being said, its pretty easy to have a negative view of any organization while you are 30 days or less from a drug or a drink. I have found Helio Health to have an abundance of resources for one to obtain sobriety and restart their life. In just the last 80 days I have been able to get my head screwed on straight, remain sober, fix broken relationships and obtain a pathway to success in every area of my life. Physically, mentally, spiritually the tools were there to obtain. It was up to me to accept that no "program" or rehab is going to be perfect and my life transformation was up to me. It was my job to use the assets given to my advantage and Helio Health had plenty to offer that were much different than my prior rehab experiences! Although staffing any business can be tough in these times, the counselors and nurses were super helpful and friendly. Hopefully with the intense need for recovery staff, businesses will start to pay them a bit more of what they deserve!

Negative experience: The detox staff are great but if u are thinking about going impatient there don't go some of the staff lie on the patients from the floor staff to the higher up staff if they do kick u out the highter up tell lies to other programs so u can't get in to other programs

Fantastic experience: Some of the reviews I find upsetting. I’ve met certain staff members that I still think about & am grateful for everyday for even having the experience of meeting. Pam, James, Dave the nurse. I’ve never in my life thought I could find the comfort in my struggle in a stranger. I think a roof, a clean bed, and free food isn’t really much to complain about when your life is being saved? You seek what you find.

Fantastic experience: The staff especially James and Abby are so supportive and dynamic. The program was structured and very effective. Spending a few weeks there changed my thinking and allowed me to come out of the grip of addiction. Of course I went right to a meeting when I came out and plan to hit 90 in 90 but The Willows is where one begins their recovery. It's a rock solid foundation. The addict needs to want to get clean though if the treatment is going to work.

Negative experience: I wouldn't send my dog here! If anyone in your family needs care to detox or get into inpatient..DON'T DO IT ! The only thing they tell people is that they are short staffed! HORRIBLE and I have a medical degree. NO don't do it! No care and the nurses should pick a new career...RUDE! NO Compassion AT ALL! I never write reviews but this place ...should SHUT DOWN!

Fantastic experience: My son was here and the rehabilitation was difficult but it worked. My son has been sober for 1 and 1/2 years now and is doing very well in college. I recommend this facility for those who are serious about getting well.

Negative experience: The doctors are a joke. They do so little to help when there are many more options that can be included to make the detox stay much more tolerable. Also the place was freezing and the beds are terrible. I would not recommend unless it's your only option.

Negative experience: Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare is the most cookie cutter rehabilitation center I have ever heard of. Everything is based on protocol, not individualized treatment. I have had so many problems with the detox, and the outpatient clinic. I was given an acceptance letter into the outpatient clinic, within a week everything on the letter was changed. They switched my counselor, my first one on one appointment, my group counselor, and the schedule of the groups themselves without notifying myself. I have a working phone, with a voicemail, address and email address for contact. Received nothing. I sat in the waiting room since 9:30am waiting for a 11:30 appointment for them to tell me it was at 10:15. When I pulled out my letter the receptionist didn't know what to say. The next day I showed up for group for them to tell me I could not attend and that me being there the day before was a mistake. I DO NOT WANT TO FORGET ABOUT THE WILLOWS DETOX. THE CONTINUING CARE COORNIDATOR JENNIFER LIED RIGHT TO MY FACE. SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE GETTING CLEAN BUT INSTEAD OF A PAYCHECK INSTEAD!
