Positive experience: Tacoma Nursing and Rehab is a good facility. The building is old, but it’s kept clean and the staff does their best to make sure patients are cared for. We were there 24/7 for a week when a family member was in hospice and the nurses (RN and CNA) and other staff were amazing. So kind, helpful and respectful!

Fantastic experience: My grandma has been with them for over a year and our family and grandma has had the best care, people are always warm, caring and I am so grateful to them. Damon, Slyvia, the social workers, PT staff, nurses and the aids that work so hard for so many. You are all angels

Fantastic experience: I want to start out that I am a nurse with over 12 years experience with long term care facilities. In my job I frequently visit patients in facilities. In fact I have probably been to most of them in the greater Tacoma area. I made the decision to place my mom here. On my mother's admission day I was absolutely astounded at the level of caring interactions I witnessed with the staff between my mother. The environment is clean. I asked staff for way too many things that day and not one time was I met with resistance or attitude. They were so accommodating. My mom (who can be overly resistive to new situations) was so happy and excited to be there. She let us know how nice everyone was to her. That was the first night in two years that I could sleep feeling like my mom was safe. My brother who really didn't want to move my mom, was so impressed with the facility that he actually thanked me for not listening to him. The activities they offer are right up my mom's alley and there are sooo many. The reviews I read on here surprised me. If they're slow to answer the phone it's because the staff are with the residents....and isn't that where they should be? It is one of the only facilities I have been to where I could very easily locate a staff member. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I am so grateful for Briana who cared and worked so hard to make it possible for my brother to come to the center and for Deja who listen to my brothers every medical need to watch over his care while he is here…and of course the attentive nursing staff:)

Fantastic experience: This place is not the most beautiful home in the south puget sound, however it is full of caring staff that come in everyday to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents who reside here. As with any facility of this type the bad is always pointed out. No nursing home is perfect. This place has staff that regularly go above and beyond, putting their family second and your family first. This place accepts all walks of life for short term and long term care, and treats everyone with dignity and respect.

Fantastic experience: It’s not easy to find a safe, nurturing facifilty to entrust the care of your loved one and that’s what I was facing when I was trying to find a comfortable and caring home for my dad. But I found all those things here at Tacoma Nursing Rehabilitation. I thoroughly did my research and visited numerous facilities. And after an exhaustive search, this is where I felt my dad would be well taken care of and since his arrival two years ago, he has been. For that I am grateful. The friendly staff go out of their way to ensure that he gets the medical, dietary and occupational care he needs. The staff goes above and beyond to keep me updated about his care and when I call them to check up on my dad, they take the time to discuss and address any questions and concerns I have. And more importantly, my dad loves this place and the staff. He doesn’t want to leave as they make him feel like family. As long as this continues to be a positive environment for us,then this is where I will keep him. It’s for all of these reasons that I would recommend Tacoma Nursing Rehabilitation to have the peace of mind that your loved one is in good hands.

Fantastic experience: My father is being cared for here after being hospitalized with a serious illness. He has received excellent care, in all areas. He is checked regularly by the staff. The room and bathroom where my dad stays is cleaned everyday. The nurses and other caregivers are very attentive and helpful. We are thankful for the kind and compassionate care received. I also want to thank the director Damen Diaz who goes the extra mile to make my dad’s stay easy for us. I highly recommend this place .. keep up the good work and I pray that my dad will recover and be home again soon

Positive experience: Wife just entered rehab at this place. No visitors for 14days seems like old information both of us are vacinated no phones in rooms called talked to two people but they tried to be helpful but didn't seem to know what to do very frustrating. The only person that I would send here is don Trump

Fantastic experience: I have a loved one staying there now. From what is was from the beginning of the year to now, what big improvements. The improvements in a short period have been wonderful. Kudos to the new administrator. He really cares about his residents where he personally takes the time to attend their needs. The staff really goes above and beyond to tend the residents. I would recommend this place for my loved one especially with the vast improvements across the board.

Positive experience: Great place to work. The facility is CLEAN and residents enjoy their meals and snacks. The staff is totally dedicated to the health and safety of the residents. Residents are very active in their community and activities and recently had a Cinco de Mayo celebration with music, singing, and cultural foods for all to enjoy. The smiles and laughter was priceless.

Positive experience: My name is Paul and I have been here for a yr and a half now. I was lucky enough to have them except me as a new resident, barely 2 mos. after the Pandemic had come down upon us? I had a wound from another Nursing establishment that they have very professionally inherited, and began to help me deal with! The facility has gone thru some growing pains, both from the Pandemic and bringing in a new facility head nurse, and eventually an Administrator also?! The facility is running Much more smoothly than before and my level of care is going in a positive direction for my wound? They have a competent staff here that has allowed me to seek outside help with my wound and it is beginning to Heal finally at last!!

Fantastic experience: I have lived here at TNR for 10 years. The last 3 months have been extremely enjoyable due to the new administration we have been under. He has made the facility much more enjoyable. The facilities here are very nice. The restorative is above none and we have a beautiful outdoor area. Come one come all

Fantastic experience: If you or your unloved one is in need of a place to be legally responsible for them, they'll do it. Fast. Local. Convenient. Medicare covers it. The other guys are just fancier high tech knockoffs. Take them here and don't think another second about it. They'll be fine.

Positive experience: The CNA'S on Day shift are amazing they helped my grandma when she needed help to get to the bathroom she did not have to wait long like she had too at her old facility she was living at. I recommend this place to everyone all the CNA'S do there job even though they can be short handed quit a lot and over worked. They do try there best
