Fantastic experience: Chief Physical Therapy was a blessing. My son was referred here for his back and finally after dealing with over a year of back pain he has found relief. Dr. Matt Allen, Dr. Rebecca, and the front office have been so helpful and always welcoming. They are an amazing group of individuals who are also great with kids. I highly recommend Chief Physical Therapy!

Fantastic experience: I have had six knee surgeries and have used five different therapy facilities, the last two surgeries using Dr. Allen’s Chief Physical Therapy in Temecula CA. I will not be looking for another provider, I have found the best.

Fantastic experience: Chief physical therapy is a very welcoming practice. When you walk in, you’re met with a remarkable receptionist. The office is a very relaxing environment allowing for a solid session to be able to focus without a lot of distraction. Dr. Allen is highly skilled and very compassionate to his patients. His attention to detail each appointment is impressive and allows for an overall A+ physical therapy session. His knowledge about human anatomy and helping treat the patient is very prominent in each session. He takes an interest in personal activities that the patient is involved with and truly gives hope to getting you back to enjoying the activities in life you may enjoy that may be currently limited. Each session I see results to different extents, and I love to be able to fully optimize carryover at home through the treatment and exercises he teaches during sessions. I highly recommend his office for your Physical Therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been for 3 sessions. Dr. Rebecca has done phenomenal work mapping out my needs. I had been having a lot of foot pain. After each visit of in office Physical Therapy I feel better and stronger. She gave me clear instructions for home excercise. She is a great listener and spends the entire hour working on my foot problems. Very happy I found Chief Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: Personalized service and extremely friendly. Communication is outstanding. They custom tailor your therapy to your needs and continually monitors progress and adjusts therapy on your changing conditions.

Fantastic experience: I went to Chief Physical Therapy in Temecula because of recurring pain in my left knee while being physically active (ballet, pilates, running...) - bad enough that I thought I was going to have to give up some of the activities I love. I felt an improvement in my knee pain during my first appointment with Rebecca. She provided detailed exercises and feedback on my performance of those exercises and really listened to me. Not only has my knee pain all but disappeared, I've noticed my overall balance has improved. The office is organized, appointments start on time, and it's a very positive atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Am so happy to have found Dr Allen & Dr Ponce. Knowledgeable, professional, yet personable. First experience where the DPT gives me a full hour, no hand off after 10 mins. Their office is appox 45 min drive from home but worth it. Even their receptionist, Brenda is super nice & professional. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Chief Physical Therapy is NOT a “mill” where 95% of your session time is wasted on heating pads, ice packs, and doing unrelated (and unsupervised) exercise. 100% of session time at Chief is genuine, effective work with specific goals in mind. There are no assistants in this office—the entire session is with the doctor. Periodic metric evaluations are conducted to monitor progress, and the numbers don’t lie—I’m making significant progress. As I approach the three month point in my post-op treatment at Chief, I now dare to hope for full recovery. ADMIN NOTE: The office manager (Wesley) is easily the best health care admin in my experience. If human cloning ever becomes a thing, I’d hope she’s among the first in line.

Fantastic experience: I like discovering gems, and Chief Physical Therapy has earned a place at the top of my list. I went to Chief for shooting pains down my hips and legs and was under immediate treatment by Dr. Matt Allen. He became concerned that my case was more serious, so we obtained outside lab reports. As it turned out, I needed back surgery. The operation is routine but urgent. A delay of several weeks could have led to permanent nerve damage and disability. Dr. Allen got on the phone to expedite scheduling at other institutions. That level of attention and follow-through is to be expected but is unexpected. Chief came through for me at a time when it mattered a lot, and I am confident the ethic permeates their enterprise. They are professional, personable, knowledgeable, and sincere. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Allen is so patient and kind! My husband went in for back pain and Dr Allen efficiently diagnosed the problem and gave him a set of stretches and exercises to relieve the pain! No beating around the bush or pushing him to get prescriptions and procedures done, just posture exercises and routine stretches. Dr Allen made it a point to understand his daily activities and physical limits. Wesley is super helpful and straightforward when scheduling future office visits. I highly recommend Chief Physical Therapy and their services!

Also, he is with me for the entire session. I was living with a lot of pain and thought it might be permanent but my pain level has decreased so much! Fantastic experience: Chief Physical Therapy in Temecula provided individual care in restoring my mobility after a revision of my total knee arthroplasty. Fantastic experience: Just finished my PT for an achilles tendinitis with Dr Allen. I have spent years attending Rancho PT in Murrieta which has always been a good place to go for PT. However, I wanted to find a place that was closer to Meadows Pkwy in Temecula. I was also intrigued by the one-on-one concept that was explained on line. In a nutshell, Dr Allen spends the entire session with you. No assistants monitoring you. You and Dr Allen. Today was my last session and I can say today I made the right decision by going to Chief PT. I have actually accumulated and notebooked most of the routines that Dr Allen put me through. Although this is the last day I now have the confidence to do these stretches at home. Dr Allen has a wealth of knowledge about the human anatomy and movement and does an excellent job building a relationship with his patients. He cares about his patients and is interested about you as a person. His relationship building is so strong that I'll miss sharing and laughing with him and his new and awesome front desk office manager Brenda. If you are not sure about Chief PT...trust me. I did the work for you. I took a chance and tried Chief PT...best experience. Enthusiastically recommend Dr Allen!!!

His no nonsense approach to rectifying my knee problem coupled with his affable personality made my physical therapy over the last several weeks a complete success. Fantastic experience: Great concentrated therapy from Dr. Garrett, including warm laser ! Golfers elbow greatly improved! Asst. Wesley also runs a well oiled machine up front! Highly recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: I was refereed to Chief Physical Therapy in Temecula by a local Emergency care doctor. It was because of shoulder pain caused by playing golf without warming up. I have never been to therapist so I did not know what to expect. In the area of communication, detail explanation of treatments, insurance coverage, explanation of injury using computer and use of state of the art non-invasive laser system deserves highest ratings. The thing which impressed me is that doctor spent 100% session time with me rather than assigning to a person on internship . The doctor discussed progress at the beginning and home exercise routine by end of each session. Every week I noticed considerable improvement and doctor asked me to slowly practice golf shots at driving range. I did not feel any pressure from Chief PT to extend sessions if not needed. When I was 100%, he discharge me. I strongly recommend Chief PT for any type of injury/pain. I have recommended Chief to friends and relatives. In short, Chief PT is the place for your therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: As a former professional athlete, I’ve seen a lot of physical therapists over the years. Came here for low back pain I couldn’t get rid of on my own after months of trying. Dr. Allen worked his magic and figured out my hips were the cause of my low back pain..solved the problem and it’s night and day different! Office manager, Wesley, is also great..easy to work with and on top of it!

Fantastic experience: From the moment you make a call for an appointment you can hear the care from Wesley who is knowledgeable & welcoming. Then you meet Dr Allan who takes the time to listen to you and work with you according to your abilities. I had two knee replacement & did PT with Dr. Allan because he knew what he was doing and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend this place , you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Chief Physical Therapy! If you live anywhere in Southern California it would be worth going to Chief Physical Therapy! My son tore his ACL and meniscus in football and had surgery to repair his knee. He was devastated. Dr. Allen was his physical therapist. Dr. Allen was the best thing for our son! He not only helped our son rehabilitate his knee to full strength, he also helped him mentally and emotionally get through this hard phase in life. Our son looked forward to his appointments, so he could work out with Dr. Allen. After each session, our son left with hope and confidence that he would play sports again. Our son is fulling recovering physically and emotionally thanks to Dr. Allen and Chief Physical Therapy!

Fantastic experience: Very professional and charming establishment. My physical therapist Garrett is the best. My road to recovery has been brighter by having this team on my side. Garrett has helped a lot in my recovery since my leg surgery with his knowledge and expertise. Between the physical therapy and scar therapy that we work on during the session my leg has progressed and improved so much.

Fantastic experience: Very professionally run office and exceptional service from Wesley who is very responsive in the front office and Dr Allen who is extremely knowledgeable on treating injuries. I had an accident that resulted in a broken ankle requiring surgery and have been coming to Dr Allen for PT. I have been making excellent progress in getting my ankle mobility back as a result of my PT treatments with Dr Allen as well as his prescribed home exercises. I highly reccomend this office for any physical therapy needs!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Garrett for a knee and foot related injury for several weeks and have already had relief in my pain. He is an excellent and patient teacher as I learn each of the exercises. He individualizes his plan of care for each person and does not overwhelm you with tons of at home exercises each session. I love my progress and look forward to my continued work with Garrett. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I visited Chief Physical Therapy because of hip discomfort. Dr. Allen correctly diagnosed that I had a problematic hip and provided therapy and exercises. Those exercises helped me prepare for eventual total hip surgery and hastened my recovery afterwards. I continue to follow the protocol he recommended after moving out of the state. I am now scheduled for a second hip surgery and will always do the exercises Dr. Allen suggested.

Fantastic experience: Big difference between the pt provider I used a few years back and Chief. I have bouts of positional vertigo and I appreciated the personal care I received, did not feel rushed , felt listened too and things were explained very well. I really liked Wesley the office manger and they were able to fit me in the same day I called to treat my vertigo . Definitely a great experience and will use them next time I need PT.

Fantastic experience: Front office staff is friendly, efficient and scheduling is easy. One to one Doctor to Patient ratio is extremely beneficial. Dr. Garrett has made a significant impact on my daughters life. She was apprehensive about attending Physical therapy but Dr. Garrett is friendly and explains the exercises thoroughly. She has gotten stronger with each session and her quality of life has drastically improved. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: When my son tore his ACL playing high school football, we knew we needed someone to help him get through the long recovery. Dr. Allen was it! I cannot even express how perfect he was. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. His office staff is responsive and kind. He worked with my son in a way I don’t think many could. My son is extremely active and was devastated at the loss of his season and many months after. Dr.Allen gave him the encouragement he needed every step of the way and kept him on a physical therapy schedule that kept my son interested and motivated. We are so thankful for Dr.Allen. His background in sports, understanding of the recovery process and compassionate personality make him the perfect physical therapist for any age. Fantastic experience: Dr Allen is wonderful!!! He is patient with his patients and VERY knowledgeable. He is a GREAT listener too. He works one on one with you for the entire treatment session. Fantastic experience: I was post-op from knee surgery and looking for a physical therapist in the Temecula/Murrieta area who would provide individual care. I’ve been to other therapy “mills” where you meet once with the actual therapist and are thereafter turned over to students or aids. At Chief Physical Therapy, Dr. Allen is with me every moment of my treatment. He constantly adjusts my therapy based on my individual issues. At one session, I explained that I was headed to a pretty physically aggressive weekend. He modified my session to be less vigorous on the knee and focused on other exercises. Also, during therapy he observes my movements and fine-tunes my efforts to get maximum results. I can’t speak highly enough about my care at Chief Physical Therapy with Dr. Allen.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Allen is the epitome of his profession. His education, training, skill, and personal empathy is exceptional. His flexible custom treatment plan for me has been very effective. Other therapists may be somewhat cookie-cutter and actually exacerbate the problem. He listens and proceeds according to your condition and experience, avoiding incorrect or over treatment. His colleague, Wesley, and he flawlessly handle all the insurance issues behind the scenes. Everything about this practice is outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Best Physical Therapist I've ever had hands down. I've had multiple sports related surgeries over the years, (ACL reconstruction, elbow surgery, wrist surgery) each time I went to excellent physical therapists in the San Diego area. When I separated my AC joint and required surgery again, I looked for the best physical therapist in the Temecula/Murrieta area to get me back to 100% as quick as possible. Dr. Allen far exceeded my high expectations. Due to his extensive knowledge, experience , and 1 on 1 approach, he was able to get me back to all my normal activities (golf, mountain biking, basketball) 4 months post-op.

Fantastic experience: Wow! What a fantastic experience! After my back surgery and then hip surgery, Dr Allen and Dr. Kuljian brought me back to life. I expected a long hard road of rehab but it was such a pleasant experience. A doctor"s undivided attention for an entire 50 minutes....!! Fantastic experience: Greeting you will be Wesley, Dr. Allens assistant. She is an extremely pleasant person and will answer any questions you may have. THEN you will meet Dr. Matt Allen. He without a doubt is the best Physical Therapist i have worked with. He will do a one on one with you and make certain you are getting the treatment that is necessary. The work he does for you is beyond reproach. To top it off, he has a great personality and listens to the patients. If I could give him 10 stars I certainly would! Fantastic experience: The best PT office in the inland empire, and my family and I have been to quite a few. Let me start with the office manager, Wesley, she is truly amazing. Her efficiency and commitment to customer service is truly incredible. She has bent over backwards for my family and I to work with our hectic schedules. Dr. Allen and his staff are nothing short of remarkable. He is the only doctor that has been able to alleviate my pain and issue. Garret is fantastic as well, my daugther has had 2 knee surgeries and she has made tremendous strides in her recovery. More than the medical care, they are just all around great people who are the epitome of integrity and character. Fantastic experience: Dr. Allen is the best physical therapist out there. My 12 year old son was his patient for about 6 months. Dr. Allen came up with a treatment plan and worked with him on a weekly basis. He provided home exercises as well. All PT was one on one, the way it should be. Patients are not put on machines or handed off to assistants like in most PT offices. Dr. Allen is very personable and is a great listener and problem solver. Wesley, who works the front office, is also welcoming and very responsive. This office is a 10/10.

Fantastic experience: My 15 year old daughter has been receiving treatment here for a shoulder/elbow softball injury for the last 6 weeks. We are in love with this office. You walk in and the office is so warm and comfortable. Wesley at the front desk is a sweetheart and incredibly helpful with scheduling and handling the insurance part. She made the whole process a breeze for us. Garrett was so great with my daughter. He came up with a plan for her at her first appointment and gave her weekly homework to do. He was extremely positive and motivating at every session. She even noticed improvement after the very first week and is now feeling so much better. We would definitely recommend this place. We appreciate the warm, welcoming atmosphere they provided during her treatment.

Fantastic experience: I felt Instant professionalism the second I walked into the front office. Wesley is kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Allen is forthright and ethical and most of all respected where I was in my healing process. His direction is on target for my healing needs ( two fusion low back surgeries within 14 months and nerve complications that seemed impossible for me to heal). I trust Dr. Allen care and treatment immensely and I have recommending him to everyone I know. He develops an individual plan and for me, in just a few weeks has helped me so very much. Fantastic experience: My six year old daughter needed physical therapy following an elbow fracture and we are so lucky that Dr. Allen at Chief Physical Therapy took care of her! Matt is extremely personable and great with kids, which made our daughter feel relaxed, safe, and she actually had fun with the exercises! Matt knew exactly what was required to quickly get her full range of movement back. If you or your child is in need of an outstanding PT then you have to go to Chief Physical Therapy!!!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a physical therapist that you can put 100% of your trust in to take care of your injury, Dr. Matt Allen is your guy. He helped me recover and strengthen my knee after I had a torn meniscus. He had me back to full range of motion and helped me regain just about all of my strength back in a matter of one month. Wesley (the administrative assistant up front) is also super nice and helpful in regards to scheduling and having great convos!

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue, I came to Dr. Allen after a horrendous time trying to deal with Workman's Comp and their initial doctor. I was extremely dissatisfied with the care that had been provided. The game playing by not only Workman's Comp but their doctor made me lose faith in doctor's and the lack of compassion or desire to address pain and atrophy. My prior doctor had me sitting in a chair wasting away at work, it was apparent my injury had not been properly addressed and treated. I'm happy to say when I met Dr. Allen I was pleasantly surprised with his kindness and attention to detail. I'm now back to many of my normal activities and slowly increasing with full expectation that I will return to my pre-injury state. It is because of Dr. Allen's encouragement and care I started to improve so much over the course of treatment. I've been truly blessed to have a PT who cares so much about his patients. If you have an injury that can be benefited by physical therapy then Dr. Allen would be an excellent choice. If I ever needed PT in the future I would go to Dr. Allen.

Fantastic experience: Unsatisfied with the inattentive assembly-line process at another physical therapy clinic, I went to Chief PT based on the strength of its reviews. I am extremely satisfied with the experience; Dr. Allen listened intently and spent 1-on-1 time with me at each appointment in order to better understand and create a program to help deal with my bilateral knee pain. Wesley at the front desk is equally personable and makes scheduling very easy. I’d highly recommend Chief PT to anyone seeking more individualized treatment than what is common at larger offices.

Fantastic experience: It is rare to receive the quality of care that I experienced from Dr. Allen. Not only did he take the time to listen and understand my medical condition but he also made the time to help me understand the situation and the best way to improve. The nerve pain and mobility in my stiff neck significantly improved. After raising four active children in Temecula and taking them to various Physical Therapy offices, there is not question that Chief Physical Therapy is superior. Dr. Allen is a wonderful person - very professional, honest and he truly cares about improving your physical health!

Fantastic experience: Let me start with saying that I was struggling with shoulder pain for over two months and I was neglecting it. Finally I decided to see physical therapist and started doing my research and reading reviews. Finally I decided to go with Dr. Allen and I am glad that I did found the right Doctor for my pain. At very first appointment he identified the problems and started working with me. Dr. Allen is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, helpful and caring. He provides immense attention to you and your problems. I am very very happy that I can play with my son again as much as I want and also got back to sports which I was missing a lot. Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Matt Allen of Chief Physical Therapy after hip replacement surgery. He is very attentive and “hands-on” (unlike another PT office I had gone to after knee surgery), taking the time to evaluate my progress at each visit and adjusting my exercises accordingly. His in-depth knowledge and professionalism made me feel comfortable and, I believe, led to the quickest possible recovery. My husband also saw Dr. Allen for his painful sciatica and got relief after only a few sessions.
