Fantastic experience: This place literally saved my life!!!!! Not only is the staff amazing the ranch will just blow your mind!!

Fantastic experience: I never thought I'd be leaving a review, but I needed to. This is for the astounding help, patience, and professionalism of the many counselors that helped my cousin through the hardships of addiction. It is arduous the time and effort that goes into battling this lifelong disease and I have also learned so much about addiction through the numerous family sessions and therapy. I have witnessed first hand how much work it takes to really help someone, but the first step as always has to be with that person -- when my cousin was ready, Rancho Milagro was there. They helped explain how the initial few days would be and it was pretty tough. After much perseverance and time, my cousin now remains steadfast in her programming. She is an amazing person who I hope will one day she share her story, but I must give credit where it is due. I cannot thank you Rancho Milagro enough for helping my family. I know these are only the first steps to a lifelong process and although there may be setbacks, these are the tools to help fight the fight. To the management, animals, and everyone that helped -- thank you again! I am extremely grateful and have seen the impact on my cousin's journey to recovery. I will be back myself to visit all the new animals!

Fantastic experience: If i can give rancho a 10 i would , im so gteatful to have found you guys, rancho milagro changed my life around!! in the past couple of years i have tried to stop drinking alcohol and got admitted to a luxurious in home rehab , i ended up relapsing a week after my 30 days sobriety ! im now going on 4 months sober , i would ve never thought that it was posable to.get this far thanks to my new found family .once agin thank you rancho staff for showing me to love and believe in my self ! thank you for changing my whole life around! and thank you for saving my life !!!! ❤️ i can't thank you enough!! , your program is truly one of a kind !! Fantastic experience: My last time at Rancho Milagro was I believe at the beginning of April 2018. My last day before my flight home was the day they moved us out of the house on Honeysuckle and in to the giant ranch out in the desert with the house pigs!! Thats all I really remember about the current facility besides the property being absolutely gorgeous in general! I unfortunately went to Rancho Milagro 3 times during my short trip to California, but it was definitely at no fault of theirs. I was simply still moving from state to state just changing the scenery, when what I needed to do was take the advice I'd been given time and time again and make the changes in me instead. All the talks I had with any of the staff were more beneficial to me than I realized at the time, and a lot of it I still apply to my life today. I celebrated 2 years on September 12th, and even though it isn't at all what I expected I can confidently say that my life today is nothing short of amazing. A lot of small habits and perspectives I used to get here were the result of talks I had with the staff. Specifically Ashley (and her Chihuahua Jimmy!) Crystal, Courvoisier, Jamal, Judy, and Sergio. I'll never forget you guys and all the time you gave me. I don't know if the house on Honeysuckle is still being used, but that was such a nice house! Really nice property with really nice facilities. Fantastic food and plenty of it too! Even though I was only ever here for Detox they still provided a good balance of structure with groups and activities, but also plenty of down time for however you'd like to spend your time. The Doctor was good, responsive, and always ALWAYS made sure that my detox was as painless as possible without over prescribing and helping me trade one habit for another. The aftercare setup was always taken care of with plenty of involvement from me, and as someone who's been to 50+ detox/residential/PHP programs over the prior 13 years I can really appreciate that. Someone like me who was completely new to the area also found them incredibly welcoming and helpful with any questions I had about where I was going after, and they also gave me any resources they could find too. I would absolutely recommend Rancho Milagro to anyone looking to take that first step in the right direction!! -Ian

Fantastic experience: Rancho Milagro changed my friend's lif

Fantastic experience: Rancho Milagro welcomed me with open arms and offered me a place of solace. Their ranch and houses are very well taken care of, and the staff are very caring and professional. They are always there for you if you need to talk, and though sometimes you do need to ask for something a few times, they will make sure that you get what you need. There is a lot of food available and they'll take you shopping, a few AA or NA meetings a week, and on weekends you'll have outings, a fireside meeting in the backyard, and they'll take you to church if you request it. The ranch has so many different animals - pigs, cows, chickens, horses, a Turkey and an emu. And little doggies who will come visit during the day. You can help feed the animals and visit them throughout the day, and they have equine therapy as well as yoga, gym, massages and a wonderful therapist who will come twice a week. One of the owners, Judy, lives near the ranch and makes sure to get to know all the clients and make sure we get what we need. I can't express how much this program and its staff helped me in my recovery and went above and beyond my expectations. The program levels they offer at the moment are detox and residential treatment, and Monday through Friday you'll participate in various programs at the house to learn about your addiction and address other underlying issues that need to be worked on. I spent 35 days there, then moved to a different program for Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient. I would recommend this rehab program to anyone, and I'll continue to reach out to the staff in the future to check in and let them know how im doing in my recovery. Love you guys! ❤
