Bellevue Physical Therapy

Negative experience: I went to the hand therapy, and had very bad experience. Will never go there.

Positive experience: PT doctor was awesome, no complaint on that. Edit: clinic director reached out and dropped the extra charge. Old review: Very upset with the administrative folks: Charged me for a hand brace without telling me it costs extra. I don't mind getting the brace or paying for it, I'm mind getting a surprise bill for something they didn't mention would be extra. There was no one at the front desk to explain the billing process, or explain if any of it was covered under insurance or not. When called to complain about the charge, they basically said "we can charge you whatever we want since you signed the document". It's probably not a regular occurrence of this clinic, I'm likely very unlucky to not get a person explaining the potential charges to me. But I'm upset that when I called to get help with this misunderstanding, I was not able to get a solution from either the billing dept or the clinic director.

Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable and caring. Rather than feeling like yet another patient to rush through, I feel like I get their genuine focus and special attention.

Fantastic experience: This is my first PT experience. The office is clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. 40 minutes goes by fast. I wish i could go more than twice a week!

Positive experience: I went here for PT on my left knee, the guy I worked with was excellent, but I later found out he was on loan from another location. Too bad, that's where the good experience ended. After I no longer was doing the PT sessions I realized I couldn't remember all he showed me. The guy I worked with said he would print them out, but somehow he never got it done. After a few weeks of not going to PT anymore and not remembering all the stretches and exercises, I called to see if they could be printed out. Nope, my guy was no longer there, he was only on loan and they weren't sure where he was, but I could call around if I wanted to find him. I asked for a manger, they did not call or follow up with me. I know the PT I worked with was good, but now I wonder about who they have now? Just a simple request, now my hard earned money, seriously, my money, is wasted because they won't print out the exercises so I can remember which ones to do and benefit from continued rehab at home., 12/25/21 update - 2 more weeks go by and no one has contacted me even after leaving voice mails and sending E-mails. Unbelievable!! Feb 2022, was contacted by Lisa Ramos, the Clinical Director for the clinic, having recently taking over the position she asked to have a chance for me to get what I asked for. I was re-evaluated for current condition and recommended approx 10 strengthening exercises with print outs and emailed link to view online as well. I'm very happy Lisa took the time to address my concerns.

Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable and compassionate for my physical needs. I have had surgeries for both shoulders making my situation a challenge for my PT to recognize my limitations and goals!

Fantastic experience: I am currently going to Bellevue Physical Therapy for a hip, knee problem and Emily Taylor is my therapist. Emily is an excellent therapist, I have made a lot of improvement since seeing her. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Fantastic experience: Kelly and her whole team are amazing! After a major disk protrusion I thought I'd never full movement in my toes again. They tailored a plan for my exact needs and I am now back to 100%..toes and all!! Besides that, all the exercises got me back into exercising and playing sports again, and I've lost 45lbs! Thanks for that too!

Fantastic experience: I was fitted for orthotics this time by Dr. Brown and couldn’t be happier with how it went. I’ve been here a few times for various things, from a shoulder injury, to knee discomfort (which led to the orthotics because she showed me my feet were causing the knee pain). Always happy with the level of attention to detail and how I feel after going through with the recommendations.

Fantastic experience: Great place! Kelley is an excellent physician, and everybody is very knowledgeable and supportive. They helped me strengthen my pelvic floor after birth, and also strengthen my body as I was starting to run and I had pain in a different part of my body

Fantastic experience: This is a well run clinic. The physical therapists are always on time. My experience has been that the physical therapist is familiar with my health background and is prepared for each specific visit upon my arrival.

Fantastic experience: I refer my family and friends to Bellevue Physical Therapy because they have very skilled, talented, friendly and professional people who have helped me so much when I have needed it over the years. From custom orthotics for me feet, to warm water pool therapy and excellent instruction in the gym to home care program, they really increase the quality of my life by decreasing my pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ray is amazing. He is so caring and sensitive to my physical well being. (Also mental well being) He is dedicating to getting me back to work and assisting me with the challenge of L and I understanding what it is that I do at work and how my job impacts my body. He is so supportive. The front staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Kelly is amazing! I first saw her a few years ago for Hip Flexor pain. I felt very comfortable and she asked all of the right questions and was super friendly. I mentioned my tailbone was randomly causing me pain on and off as well and she knew exactly how to help (I had gone to many places and nobody knew how to fix.) Since then, I have been back a couple times and have received excellent advice. I always leave feeling so much better, and confident that if I do my exercises, I will heal! I even went in to get advice for how to prevent injury before I had my baby, and she had so many great tips! Thanks Kelly :)

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff! I’d never done physical therapy before so wasn’t sure what to expect. Emily was very knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The staff are truly wonderful and a special shout-out to McKenzie at the front desk for always being so nice ; she remembered my name and always called me by name from day one! Rachel and Conner too! I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Positive experience: Not sure if this is SOP, but I’m being passed around, having worked with three people so far. I really prefer working with one.

Fantastic experience: The Bellevue Physical Therapy office was recommended to me by my primary care doctor. The first person that came to mind from my doc was "Kelly Brown". She assured me she was very friendly, personable, knowledgable and compassionate about her PT work. I have been to a lot of PT over the years and Kelly Brown at Bellevue PT is top notch. She has excellent listening skills and she knows how to respond to your concerns with consideration and detail. As well as asking the right questions she specifically asked me how best she could assist with my problems and concerns. It was clear after my first visit with her she has a great deal of experience and understanding in her field of expertise. Without hestitation I would hands down recommend her to my colleagues, friends and family. I am already sharing with my friends what I have learned from her. She is a great Physical Therapist.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience. Everyone that I worked with was knowledgable, kind and professional. They were able to explain to me exactly what was causing my pain, how the exercises worked to remedy it and things I could alter in my off time to help as well. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience here. My 11 y/o son saw Kelly the same day we called to make an appointment for a sore knee. She was very friendly, happily talking to him as a real person (some adults talk down to kids). She gave him treatment and exercises for him to work on at home that worked so well, we only needed one follow-up appointment. She then gave us a plan to help him avoid injuries in future. Fantastic.

Fantastic experience: My family of 8 have received only the most friendly and careful care here for such complex ailments as scoliosis, skiing injuries, pelvic floor weakness, multiple knee surgeries, hip displasia etc. They remember us and treat us as long lost friends when we show up again! Can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Gordon and Julie are amazing! They are extremely knowledgeable about how to help when one's body is not functioning like we want it to and/or how it should! They view the 'whole body' and assess how things are 'holistically' connected. You will be thankful for their expertise!

Fantastic experience: This is the 3rd P/T office I have needed in my life, and definitely the one by which I am most impressed. The staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain why certain muscles need to be activated and how to activate them. They send me home each week with a detailed color-illustrated list of what to do. Thank you! My pain is gone!

Fantastic experience: Got into a rear end car crash and was struggling with my left side for weeks until I went here. The staff is friendly, and the work they do is great. In one week of being treated there, my symptoms improved marginally. I would highly recommend going here for any matters related to physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: Used Bellevue Physical Therapy for rehabilitation after a nasty muscle pull followed by hip troubles. They spent time understanding the problem asking pertinent questions and formulating therapies which had an impact right away. The boss Kelly Vogl coordinates well with her therapists wihile following the progress in person. There were a little far from my home but always felt like the trip was worth it.

Fantastic experience: Bellevue Physical Therapy offers much more than a typical therapy session! A back specialist recommended that I see Gordon Browne at BPT for my chronic lower back pain caused by osteoarthritis. I had tried physical therapy for my lower back a year earlier, and the therapy sessions often left me feeling worse. The sessions with Gordon are much different. Gordon is teaching me ways to move that reduce the amount of excess pressure I put on my neck and lower back while training me how to improve my posture. The therapy sessions involve more than simple exercises and often include a gentle massage of stressed back and neck muscles. I actually leave their office feeling better than when I walked in. I have since had therapy sessions with Gordon and also his wife Julie. Both are excellent therapists, and I recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: I could write a sonnet about how much I love and appreciate this place for all they've done for me. Every person there is so knowledgeable, patient, thorough, light-hearted, and clearly love what they do. I'm pretty sure I had forgotten what it was like to not be in pain all the time until I came to see Bellevue PT. Zach, Tyler and Rachael answer all my (constant) questions, are so patient while I try to do the moves, and manage to make it all fun. Am I swooning?? I feel like I'm swooning. #PatientForLife.

Fantastic experience: BPT is incredible! After a severe knee dislocation they worked with me at the aggressive pace I desired tailoring my treatment to my specific needs. They have created an upbeat and positive environment. I would recommend them to anyone at any age for any need, they are that good!

Fantastic experience: Julie Browne is out standing and a 1 in a million therpiest , her complete understanding of basic therapy as it applies to any injury and her complete understanding of "The Feldenkrais Method" is really unbelievable! You could not be in better hands! I came in barley able to walk and she has worked miracles!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend coming to Bellevue RET if you are injured and need some Physical Therapy. What I liked most about RET was that they not only focused on my knee, which I had sprained, but that they focused on strengthening my other muscles - hips, glutes, etc. They taught me how to do the exercises correctly & were available for me to ask questions. They worked with me to help me get back to running sooner than later. Since my injury, I have reached out to some of the PTs regarding additional health concerns and they have been very helpful. I will continue to use them as my Physical Therapists.

Fantastic experience: After getting so-so help at three other PT facilities, I found Bellevue Physical Therapy. They know what they are doing and they have a plan for your problem. I have had two knee replacements, broken ribs and a shoulder issue. Kelly and her crew have been with me for every one of these issues and I have come out the other end better than ever. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Went to Bellevue PT after a knee sprain playing soccer, and they helped me through my recovery from being on crutches though to playing again, and beyond. There was an extra focus on strengthening exercises to prevent future injuries. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Bellevue PT. I injured my back at the gym while moving some weights around and experienced a sharp, strong, pain that almost had me in tears; I scheduled my PT right away and wasn't disappointed. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and worked with me on a variety of useful exercises - stretches and exercises which strengthened my muscles, eliminated the pain, and will (hopefully) prevent it from reoccurring. I had 1 or 2 sessions a week for about 5-6 weeks. Some of the exercises they showed me included body-weight exercises with the TRX bands, which I have since introduced to my regular workout routine at the gym I go to. The therapists also helped me identify how to improve my seating posture at my work desk, to reduce stress on my back. In short, great service I would recommend to anyone I know who needs PT.

Fantastic experience: Gordon Browne, a Feldenkrais practicioner at Bellevue PT, has shown me how my lazy posture compresses joints and pinches nerves, and the way to relief. I look better and feel better because of it.

Fantastic experience: Kelly & Kaeli were so wonderful to work with. Went in for knees that hurt when I ran. (I had just started a running program, I was loving it, and really didn't want to stop) My knees feel better than ever! I am so happy to be running pain free! And, of course my knees don't hurt when walking up/down hills or stairs. I would highly recommend Bellevue Physical Therapy!

Negative experience: Money minded because wants the patient to visit twice a week and gives only 2 exercises per visit..Doesn't explain the therapy plan to the patient properly and doesn't concentrate on the poster correction from the start
