Solstice Physical Therapy: Reviews

Fantastic experience: Lisa is everything that you want from a provider. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares for her patients. Not only is her "bedside manner" the best, she actually gets results. She helps your body heal itself and teaches you how to listen to and understand your own body. She's just the very best.

Fantastic experience: Lisa, is the best physical therapist I have worked with. I have been in and out of PT since 2010 for my lowerback/hips and she's the first one that's given me long term relief. She really does care, she wants the best for her clients and wants them to get better! She provides exercises for her Clients as well so they can continue to improve and have the tools to fix themselves if the injury resurfaces. I highly recommend her to anyone that has gone to multiple physical therapists and nothing seemed to work.

Fantastic experience: Solstice PT is the best physical therapy office I have ever visited (unfortunately, due to my career choice, I have been in a lot of offices). Lisa is amazing. She not only has the 'book' learning and education of countless hours of classes and seminars, she has an intuitive sense that she uses to key in on what may be causing the most problems for her patients. I love how she will say, "Well, your body is telling me we need to work on (insert body part) today". And then we discover that is what needed her attention. She also has a great bedside manner and is more than willing to suggest other types of treatments that you may need as you work toward recovery. So many 'specialists' I see believe they are the 'do all/end all' instead of looking at the bigger picture and believing in a well rounded approach to healing. She works with many other practioners, learning their craft and working with them to help a patient as a team.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and professionalism. I was hesitant to do PT but so thankful I found Dr. Lisa and her expertise. She has helped my back tremendously.

Fantastic experience: Truly exceptional. I am healing from injuries (and more!) that have been being treated for many years. I am SO grateful a friend found and recommended Dr. Lisa!! I have hoped to find the type of myofascial release professional that up until now I’ve only heard of (what almost sounded too good to be true) through podcasts, Ted talks, etc. I was beginning to accept the chronic pain I was having in certain areas as just how it was going to be and was starting to accept whatever limitations it caused - until now!! Dr. Lisa is truly exceptional at her work - she possesses the intuitive gift along with extensive training - that perfect combination that produces incredibly effective healers. Beyond thrilled my friend found and recommended her!

Fantastic experience: I can’t even begin to explain what a blessing being treated by Lisa has been! It is life changing don’t hesitate trying treatment I only wish I would have started sooner!

Fantastic experience: Lisa is not only extremely skilled at myofascial release, she is amazing at instinctively knowing what part of the body is causing restrictions in other areas. She is so knowledgeable in the muscular-skeletal system, physical therapy exercises, chronic pain, and the emotional aspect that goes along with having a dysfunctional body, she quickly became more than just a body worker for me. She provides a safe space to where I can work through so many restrictions, both emotionally and physically. Lisa is truly gifted AND a beautiful human being!

Fantastic experience: I reached out to Lisa when I was having low back issues. She is so talented and knowledgeable. Since seeing her, my lifting, posture, and day to day has improved tremendously. I cannot recommend her enough!

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with Lisa. I had chronic pain for over 5 years and she was able to alleviate the pain after 5 sessions. I'm normally very tight and she is able to pin point exactly where treatment is needed just by feel. For me, Myofacial release has been a life saver. She also can do dry needling or cupping if needed. I love that she is now part of my health care regime.

Fantastic experience: I am thrilled to have found Solstice PT. I have had issues with my neck and shoulders ever since I had neck surgery done about 8 years ago. Lisa Wilcox has amazing energy and is truly a talented healer. The myo-facial release she has done on my muscles has provided relief that lasts. Go to Solstice PT, you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: I first ran into Lisa several years back when she filled in for another PT who was on paternity leave. She used cranial sacral, which resulted in significant migraine frequency reduction. Flash forward two years. I found Lisa with Solstice, and worked with her for over a year for migraine and significant structural alignment issues. Lisa has that sweet-spot-of-a mix of an excellent listener/observer and high intelligence. She does not have that ego that often comes with a doctorate and will leave her expectations open to what she discovers during the session. The only thing missing is insurance; but, despite that, she's well worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have had a wonderful experience working with Solstice Physical Therapy. I have been going on and off for almost a year for hip and low back pain. Both Lisa and Marin are extremely caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I have worked mostly with Lisa and the root of my pain was fairly complex and I appreciated that she was willing to look at my issues from a fresh perspective when my recovery seemed to be "stalling." She and Marin are constantly learning new techniques, reading up on current research and attending workshops to stay current in the field of physical therapy. I love that Solstice is not like the typical physical therapy offices that I have been to in the past, where you do exercises most of the appointment. At my appointments, Lisa will show me a few exercises to do for homework and the majority of the appointment is bodywork; including myofascial release, dry needling, or cupping. Solstice has also helped both my daughter and son recover from injuries, and they have a great rapport with teens. I would highly recommend Solstice Physical Therapy!

Fantastic experience: When I met Lisa, I had been suffering from a frozen shoulder for over 2 years!! I had tried many things such as Orthopedic Massages, PT, acupuncture, EMS, etc. everything but Surgery, which I was starting to think was my only option. Then someone recommended Prolotherapy, which I did and improved my movement from a 25-degree range of movement (side lift) to about a 50 degree range. Then it stopped again. Dr who performed the prolotherapy recommended I see Lisa for Mayofacial release therapy. I’m so thankful for that recommendation because it has improved my movement significantly. After 8 session with Lisa I can now lift my arm 98%. After almost 2.5 years I am finally able to exercise again. I highly recommend Lisa, not just for her “magical” hands but for her in-depth knowledge of the body, her attention to detail and the care she treats her clients with. Lisa has given me back a healthy body!!

Fantastic experience: Lisa with Solstice Physical Therapy is simply amazing. She is so genuine and so good at what she does. I went to her with multiple issues and each time she was able to help treat each issue and by the third time I felt like myself again. And she did all treatments pain free and I actually was able to enjoy the process. I feel so grateful for Lisa and her incredible knowledge, if I have any pains she is my go-to therapist. I highly recommend her!!

Fantastic experience: I met Lisa while I was doing traditional physical therapy for chronic hip pain and she was a fill in for my regular PT. With one session with her, I had more relief then I have had in 3 years. So I hunted her down when she started her own practice :) As my body has changed and new issues have arrived, she has worked with me each time to strengthen and well as provide relief. I really enjoy how she takes the time to really get to the bottom of what is going on. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This, in my opinion, is what I would expect when I see 5 stars for a doctor: The doctor is very passionate about their work, educates and answers any questions about the work that they do, cares about your short term and long term health goals, treats your health issues holistically, and the doctor is personable and charismatic. Dr. Lisa checks all of these boxes My story: I had a sports injury and many doctors mentioned that I would need surgery. I met with Dr. Lisa to learn what she could do for me before immediately jumping to surgery. It was immediately clear that Dr. Lisa is passion in her work and that she cared about my long-term goals, not just near term. She was happy to help me through my knee injury and educated me on all the steps along the way which included what fascia is, how she treats the issues surrounding fascia, what personal exercises are needed and how important personal exercises are, and she educated me on dry needling. She has been very thorough and makes sure I understand the exercises and treatment I am receiving. After treatment with Dr. Lisa, I was quickly back to playing sports and my injury was 100% resolved! I went from limping and knee pain where I could not play a game of ping pong to playing in an ultimate frisbee league with no knee pain at all! Working with Dr. Lisa has been one of the best experiences I have had working with a doctor, and no, it is not just because she saved me from having surgery! I have been very happy with all her help over the last several years and enjoy the continued education on fascia from emails that Dr. Lisa sends out periodically. It gives me a chance to learn more while I am home instead of asking and learning everything through the office visit. If you really like being informed about your treatment and want to have someone that really cares about your goals, I believe Dr. Lisa will provide you with the healthcare that you want! I am more than happy with my treatment and results with Dr. Lisa and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking help with physical injuries and impairments. The value you receive from her treatment outweighs the price!

Fantastic experience: Lisa is incredible at what she does! I have been in chronic pain for three years, but lately have been feeling so much better. I see Lisa once per week. It took a few sessions (which is to be expected) but now I notice substantial improvement after every session. It's definitely worth the money! Also, Lisa is great at working with the other providers I am seeing to make sure there is a cohesive recovery plan in place for me.

Fantastic experience: Lisa and Marin, are both incredibly talented and knowledgeable in the practice of Myofascial Release. Although I've spent time with both Lisa and Marin, the majority of my treatment has come from Lisa. She has completely changed my life for the better. Prior to seeing her, I spent about a year seeing a wide variety of doctors, specialists, and physical therapists to treat my chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain. With little improvement in my well being over that time period, I decided to go beyond what my insurance was willing to cover and go see what Lisa could do for me. I am so glad I made that decision. She has provided so much more attention and care to me than any of the physical therapists I've ever worked with before (which is A LOT). She is so knowledgeable and amazing at seeing the entire body as a system. Furthermore, she makes sure to educate you about your body, so that you can treat yourself as well. If you're skeptical of the price, I'd say just give her a chance to prove it's worth it. You will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: Lisa is a great therapist in so many ways! Because of various injuries and surgeries over the years I've seen a number of therapists and Lisa by far is the best. She is very thorough, uses a number of techniques to find what helps and makes the healing process successful. Plus she is one of the most genuine and positive people I know. I came to her with shoulder pain and with a variety of sessions with her and exercising on my own using her suggestions, I am pain free! I can't thank her enough! HIGHLY Recommend!

Fantastic experience: Lisa Wilcox is a talented physical therapist whom I have seen personally for myofascial release treatments for muscle tightness and pain. She is smart, professional, and has a keen ability to observe asymmetry and movement to correctly and efficiently determine the cause of dysfunction. As a physician, I appreciate her diagnostic ability because the correct diagnosis is the cornerstone of correct treatment. I wholeheartedly recommend her for musculoskeletal therapy treatment.

Fantastic experience: I went in after an injury to my back that made it painful to move, a sneeze would make the pain terrible. She did many therapies to alleviate the pain and increase my range on motion. She displays always the utmost professionalism and care. I would recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I saw Lisa for some IT band related knee pain. Lisa is awesome, my time with her was always one on one I never felt like I was rushed. Lisa is 100% a PT ninja! Here is just one example of her ninjaness, Lisa was doing some myofascial release on my back and I was feeling tension being released in my knee. With Lisa's help I went from thinking I couldn't finish my first 50k, to doing better then I could imagine with just a few appointments.

Fantastic experience: Solstice Physical Therapy is not your average PT place. Lisa Wilcox is a genius. She was truly meant to be a PT and offers methods that truly work. I have been in immense pain, and in one session I am able to leave with significant improvement. She really is a miracle worker. She is very knowledgeable, passionate, and genuine. You will not regret it- go see her!

Fantastic experience: Lisa is hands down the best physical therapist! I came to her after 5 years of chronic pain and multiple physical therapists. She was able to figure out where my pain was coming from and thanks to her I’m pain free! Lisa is kind and caring and I always looked forward to my appointments. Thank you Lisa!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wilcox & Dr. Campbell are extraordinary practitioners- massively skilled! They have helped to move me through some serious physical issues that others were not able to solve. I feel so comfortable in their hands. I have been around the block, believe me, and this is who I refer my clients and friends to. If you are looking to make progress, make these women part of your team.

Fantastic experience: As a medical doctor who's practiced in Denver for over 30 years I have a great deal of experience with the many fine physical therapists in the metro area. When the time came to choose a personal therapist, I chose Lisa Wilcox for her expertise, clinical judgement, unique skill set and her unerring intuitive sense of what is needed and when. I live south, so going north is not something I do gladly, but the drive is entirely worth it. I've sent my patients and my own family to Lisa, and no one has been disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Solstice Physical Therapy for a couple of months now. I have chronic problems with both my neck and back. Dr. Wilcox uses a large variety of techniques to give you the best custom treatment for your needs. For me, her technique and expertise out weighs all the other physical therapist I've used in the past. I highly recommend her!!

Fantastic experience: Lisa is the best physical therapist I have ever worked with. She even diagnosed the source of my lower back pain before the pain management doctors did. She is personable and treats her clients as if they were family . Paul Hahn

Fantastic experience: For the past 10+ years I thought I had carpal tunnel. I work on computers all day. By the end of the day my wrist was in a lot of pain. The pain was shooting up to my neck. Long story short, I went to Lisa for something else. We started talking and told her about my wrist. It turned out it was not carpal tunnel. With some physical therapy, my pain is gone. I still work on computer and go home at the end of the day with no pain. :)

Fantastic experience: As a physical therapist, I have had the pleasure of working with Lisa, and now as a patient, of having her treat me. I have several chronic orthopedic injuries and she has addressed them holistically, looking at biomechanics, posture, and movement patterns. The combination of Myofascial Release and Dry Needling has been a revelation for my body--Lisa is a gifted manual therapist and I am lucky to have her on my health care team!

Fantastic experience: I saw Lisa for dry needling and myofascial release treatment for my legs while marathon training. After just 1 visit, she eliminated the muscle tightness and limited range of motion I was having both during and after my runs. Absolutely incredible! I will definitely be following up with her in the weeks leading up to my marathon to make sure my body is ready. I highly recommend seeing Lisa for any of your physical therapy needs, she is a very knowledgeable provider and has the skills to make you feel better with very little discomfort.

Fantastic experience: Such a positive impact on my quality of life! Six months ago, I was rear-ended by a drunk driver. At 65 years of age with a cervical fusion from many years ago, I had been doing well before the collision. After the collision I was in pain with numbness and tingling in my right arm and back. Following an MRI, the neurosurgeon prescribed PT in an attempt to avoid surgery. As a result, I met Lisa for the first time. I was close to retirement and feeling very discouraged. Lisa’s extensive training and experience enables her to not only treat the problem at her clinic, but also recommend simple home stretching and exercises specifically tailored to my situation. Each visit she listens to me, assesses my situation, and adjusts her treatment to build on the results to date. I have progressed from requiring nightly cervical traction for relief from constant pain and numbness to being traction-free, almost pain free, and more physically active. Whether you are suffering from an injury or just want to reduce joint pain, improve your range of motion or posture, you should see Lisa. She is a physical therapy “detective” who will get to the root causes of your concern and make a positive difference in your life. It is the best gift you could give yourself or loved one.
