The Center at Northridge

Fantastic experience: Recently, we chose the Center at Northridge for my recovery from a broken neck. In the four days I was there, I received wonderful attention from the nurses, CNAs, and even the cooks! The food was restaurant quality, and there were many choices if one did not want the selections on the menu. I appreciated the fabulous rehab facility that looked out at a beautiful mountain view, and the walks I could take in that setting. The rehab facility looks like a good gym, and just around the corner, there is a "mock apartment" in which I could test myself in the tasks of daily living. Thanks to the physical therapists, I gained the confidence to go home. They even gave me the chance to practice getting in and out of cars before I left. Everyone I came in contact with seemed to be doing their very best. My only criticism of this fine facility is that there was nowhere for a family member from out of town to be with me through the night. I think this might be a common occurrence and even a chair that folds out flat night work. We brought a foam mattress and they were very nice about allowing it. I completely recommend this rehab facility and wish them well.

Fantastic experience: This is the third time we've used the center. The care our family member has received here is always top notch.

Positive experience: This post is for my grandma after hip surgery. She recovered pretty well the pt and the ot was the reason she did so well. Most of the nursers were pretty good. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 star because they left her iud for not taking the catheter out and ended with a infection.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for 5 weeks. I came for speech swallowing therapy, occupation therapy and physical therapy and have been very impressed with all three. The nurses and team are kind and helpful. I am glad I chose to come here.

Positive experience: I've been a patient here for a week & I think this is a wonderful facility. The nurses are friendly & professional, they really care that I am improving. Dr Dice is attentive & explains what my treatment goals are and what works best for my situation. My husband was invited to my care meeting and because of that I feel confident that once I leave and return home I will continue to get better. The center is clean, quiet and the food is good. I was even seen by a dietitian to be sure that food allergies wouldn't be a issue. The physical therapists Scott, Amy & Isabella are great and so is my occupational therapist Maggie. I look forward to seeing them each day and working hard. They make it fun to do my exercises. I am thankful I was admitted here because if I ever have to return to a rehabilitation center this is the place I would definitely want to go. I would love to give this center a 5 star review but the front desk receptionist is horrible. She is clueless when it comes to dealing with people and can't believe they let her represent this company. She shouldn't be allowed interaction with the public or with patients trying to recover. Definitely would have given 5 stars for a great job done by so many great workers.

Fantastic experience: My 82 year old mother has been in 3 different rehab facilities over the past 10 years. This is the first facility she has not called in tears every single day. For the most part, they are kind, gentle, considerate and helpful. She feels of value because they listen to her. She feels they talk TO her not AT her.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend The Center at Northridge! The facility is new, modern and very clean. The staff and medical providers are kind, caring, and very well trained. Everyone treated my mother with respect. The food is excellent and guests can order meals to share with their loved one. If a loved one needs rehab, this is the place!

Fantastic experience: My husband stayed here for therapy after breaking his femur and leaving the hospital. He thought the staff was great, the meals were very good (and he's a retired chef). The facility itself looks almost like a hotel, and the private rooms/baths are awesome. We highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My mother-in-law has been placed in the Center of Northridge’s care. I went to visit her and to my surprise, it is wonderful!! Clean, inviting and so pleasant. Her nurse (wish I could remember her name) was incredible. She was so caring and nice. We truly enjoyed visiting with her while she cared for my mother-in-law.

Fantastic experience: My mother is receiving excellent care at the Center at Northridge. The Administrators, Doctors, Nurses, Physical and Occupational Therapists, precious CNA’s, the Kitchen and all the Staff at Northridge are extremely professional and provide the highest quality and care in their daily work. We are thankful my mother is healing and get well and we can bring her home soon with all of the support she has been given during her stay. Thank you Northridge.

Fantastic experience: I went to visit my Mom yesterday, who is continuing with rehab after having a stroke. The Center is very clean, and everyone very helpful & friendly. A big shout out to "Maggie" who went above and beyond her duties in helping my Mom.

Fantastic experience: My mom has been at the facility for a little over a week and I have to say I am very happy with the care she has received. The staff has been amazing helping her get stronger every day. We wanted to celebrate Christmas with her and the staff was able to reserve a room last minute! So far she has had no complaints which makes me and sister feel we made the right choice selecting The Center at Northridge. Thank you for helping my mom get stronger everyday to be home soon!

Fantastic experience: I wasn't happy about having to go to a rehab facility after having bilateral knee replacement surgery. Now I dont know what I'd do if I didn't come here. Everyone was so helpful and caring. BIG shout out to Kara McGraw, Occupational Therapist. She is the best!!

Fantastic experience: Seems like a nice place. We were visiting a friend who is a patient. She has been there before and you have helped her very much. I'm annoyed that you require visitors to give up their e-mails and then pester us for these reviews.

Fantastic experience: My dad is halfway through a 2.5 week stay with this facility, and it has really done wonders for him already. The therapists have been keeping him mentally and physically active and it's been great for him. The facility has been very busy during his stay, and the staff has been just as busy. There are times when they don't make it to the room as quickly, but it is still much faster than his hospital stay prior to coming to the center. He gets the care he needs, and the improvement in his health is noticeable after only a week and a half.

Fantastic experience: I have personally experienced life changing events happening at this facility. I would highly recommend the care provided to anyone needing Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Northridge cares about each individual and goes above and beyond to provide patient-centered guidance for a quick recovery.

Fantastic experience: I really like this facility. The nurses and cna's are very attentive. The physical and occupational therapists are exceptional. The food could use some improvemnt but the overall care is excellent. I have already recommended this place to several people. My guests have been very imppressed. The medical doctors are also very nice.

Fantastic experience: My husband had a really good experience here. The staff was very attentive to him. The PT and OT staff are exceptional!! We have had poor experiences with other rehabs for my mom but will now bring her to The Center at Northridge instead. Nurse Keisha on the weekends is exceptional!!! Sherry the LPN is also exceptional!!! Thank you to all the staff for providing great care to my husband.

I had been fighting with family to not go for rehabilitation and now I believe.This has help me in many ways, mostly because of Quality and Service at The Center at North ridge, 12285 N Pecos St, Westminster, CO 80234. Personal care from all employees is a high level,Kelly the planner for events got me out of bed actively involved in her planned activities. If you need rehabilitation this is the place to go. Fantastic experience: The facility is very clean, it's only 2 years old, and still looks like the brochure, there are no fowl smells, the people pay good attention to you, they fun have and diverse activities, and the food is passable.

Fantastic experience: My husband was a patient in this facility for 10 days after having a stroke...upon admittance in the evening I asked if I could spend the night with my husband. of 53 years....a cot was made up and brought in for me...I spent all 10 nights there and my husband and I were both treated very respectfully...the care the nurses and CNA's and ALL the therapists given to him were top quality...Northridge set up home health for him...had it one week and my husband was back in the hospital for surgery for an obstruction of the lower bowel...after 10 days in the hospital he needed rehab again...only place we wanted to go was Northridge, back on the second floor, the west wing...I was specific about this because of the care given him the first time...and that was arranged for us....this time he was in Northridge 11 days...I can't not say enough wonderful things about this facility and the employees on second floor and the Physical therapy department...Meagan and Lynn were the two therapists that spent the most time "rehabilitating" my husband...they were AWESOME and so professional and dedicated to getting him strong enough to safely go home...ALL of the therapists that worked with him were wonderful...Dan, you have an awesome crew !!! the CNA's spent more time with him than the nurses, who were busy doing meds, and the CNA's were the best...Sinita, Tammy, Vanessa, and there was one other one whose name I cannot remember who took wonderful care of my husband and politely assisted us in every thing we asked them to do for him...the housekeepers were top notch also...too many to mention and I would not want to overlook anyone...Dr. G and Sherry, his PA , were very special to us...answered every question we had and very attentive to my husband....I ate lunch there just about everyday...the food was delicious and reasonably priced...although I did have to ask for silverware 4 different times...I really don't like eating with my fingers...LOL...after reading all these reviews, I do not understand other people's concerns....I will recommended this facility to anyone I know needing rehab...Thank you Northridge for the care and support you gave my husband ..

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice - the doctors, nurses, cna's, and therapists. You are not tied down here. There is always something to do. They have fun activities. This is also the cleanest building that I've ever seen. Excellent facility.

Fantastic experience: I had both knees replaced the 2nd of February 2017 at Platte Valley hospital in Brighton. Spent one week at the hospital, than went to rehab at Center at Northridge. Spent three weeks with Lori and Barb, working with me, I went home in three weeks. I now have no limp at all and enjoying life which I haven't done in years. I also have no pain and out enjoying life and all of my animals. Louise H.

Fantastic experience: I have been working for this organization for over a year now and couldn't be prouder of our team! I get to see patients at their worst in the hospital setting and see the recovery happen just like magic. A Skilled Nursing Facility that truly rehabilitates people and brings them back to a full and healthy life is just what the north side of town needed. Our Physical therapy team, nurses, physician team and extenders that provide such a high level of care and true compassion show just what healthcare industry should be like.
