Fantastic experience: They are the best!!!!!!

Negative experience: Waited two weeks for them to help get me booked. I was told twice I would get a call back from both a male and female office staff. They never called me back, then they told me they were too busy. Mean while I’m sitting here for two weeks without treatment. Office staff shows clear signs of disorganization and lack of empathy for your injury. Would not recommend here…

Fantastic experience: From the time I first phoned to get an appointment thru my second visit with them, I knew I chose the right place for my physical therapy care following reverse shoulder replacement surgery. The receptionist was very responsive in facilitating my getting a prompt appointment by contacting my insurance . Meeting with Hunter explaining in detail what the process of getting full recovery of my shoulder I really appreciated.

Fantastic experience: This is a long overdue review. I first came to Proactive in 2022 after ACL repair. I have been with them for over a year and this year I came back after a shoulder injury. I can honestly say that they have been amazing throughout all those years! I have been through several therapists and can confidently say they are very knowledgeable, great team work and supportive atmosphere. They are like family to each other))) I highly recommend this place and will go back there if needed in the future.

Fantastic experience: Amazing communication and understanding of some pain I was feeling form a sprain , provided excellent exercises and kept in mind my dance background so that I could heal in time!

Fantastic experience: My friend recommended I go here for PT for my ALC knee surgery and work with Hunter. The team here goes above and beyond to help in your recovery process. I like how they are adaptive in understanding that everyone recovery process is different and work to ensure we are meeting goals. I respect the professionalism and grateful of their expertise. On a side note: conversations that goes around the room are hilarious and makes PT a little less grueling.

Fantastic experience: 10/10- Highly recommend. I've been going a couple times a week since mid-August, of 2025, post hip replacement surgery. Anna and the entire team have been really great. They keep it light and fun but yet are serious about their work and helping you get better. My other hip was replaced 12 years ago and I didn't do any PT post surgery. That surgeon didn't really push or recommend PT. The surgeon that performed this most recent surgery was a big PT advocate. I can tell you the recovery on this surgery with the PT is significantly better. I attribute that to the PT treatment. The whole team is great, front desk folks for making appointments to the rest of the crew building a great environment. I have to particularly mention Grace. She guides you through all the exercises and makes sure you're doing it right. She's very professional even when I was annoying and joking around, which is on the regular. As I'm winding down my treatment I wanted to share with everyone how great the team and my results have been with ProActive.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a shoulder and elbow injury, and the weekly exercises with the team have really helped reduce my shoulder pain. I truly appreciate Hunter’s support throughout the process. The equipment is well-maintained, and if you’re ever doing an exercise too quickly or incorrectly, they’re always right there to guide you.

I came in with a stubborn shoulder injury that had been bothering me for months, and now I’m almost fully healed—thanks to the incredible care I am receiving here - that’s right. Fantastic experience: Great therapists, great assistants, and great atmosphere - very friendly place. The therapists are very knowledgeable and listen to your concerns. I have mainly worked with Hayley and Kristan to prepare for a knee replacement surgery and now after the surgery. I am very confident that my recovery is going well due to the pre-surgery and post-surgery physical therapy I received and am receiving at ProActive from these caring people.

Fantastic experience: HAYLEY IS AWESOME! She pushes in a nice way….. and hurts me in a nice way - and now I am walking better! I’m able to walk in house without a walker! I use my cane on occasion and even forget where I left my cane last due to not using it all the time!

Fantastic experience: Amazing Place with Amazing people

Fantastic experience: I came here with low back pain after I was involved in a car accident. My therapist, Anna, was so helpful and now my back is feeling so much better! She was very thorough with her evaluations and was careful to help me address all problems I wanted to resolve in my back, not just the isolated low back pain. I got help with some upper back stuff and also advice for properly doing exercises I enjoy like barbell squats. She is very knowledgeable and was able to explain what was going on with my body and what we were doing to try to fix the problem. She was also super friendly and it really felt like she cared about helping me get back to 100%. Finally, they even allow you to stay longer past your appointment if you want to in order to wrap up final rehab exercises. I've tried a few different PT places in the area and this one was definitely the best for me!

Fantastic experience: Until my doctor recommended a month of pre-hab before total knee replacement surgery in February 2024, I had zero experience with physical therapy. After finding that ProActive was located just a mile from my house, a phone call confirmed they'd take my insurance, had already worked with patients from my surgeon, and when could I come in? I began working with Haley Keenan three times a week to strengthen my leg and knee while building flexibility before the procedure. Following surgery, I returned to Haley and began the months-long process of rehabilitation, slowly building strength and range of motion. Haley and the entire ProActive team were incredibly patient, slowly guiding me during two-hour long sessions, three times a week. But besides their skill and experience, the ProActive folks treated me with respect and care, making me feel like part of a family that shared a common goal - restoring the function of my repaired knee. Five months after surgery, I finally graduated from PT, armed with home exercises that keep my healing progress moving forward. I can't recommend ProActive Physical Therapy highly enough!

Fantastic experience: BEST EVER! I have always had “bad knees” (I’m only 30) and thought it was just my curse. My husband encouraged me to go see Jayme and her team. They are incredible. She immediately identified the source of my issues and we tackled it over 6 weeks. She gave me the tools and strategies to carry with my so that I can continue strengthening my legs on my own. I have been out of PT for a few months now and have no pain, I’m back to hiking and working out without issue. I feel silly that I didn’t go earlier, and so grateful that Jayme helped me realize my knees weren’t a curse… just weak quads. They’re really amazing here. Fantastic experience: I came here for a dance-related injury and it's by far one of the best clinics I've been to. Instead of just giving you generic exercises to do for an hour, the PTs are trained in manual therapy. They also spend dedicated time with you, tailoring the exercises to your specific sport (in my case, dance).

I’ve worked with Jayme, Kristin, and Hunter and all of them have been absolutely amazing, attentive, and so skilled. I’ve suffered from pretty severe whiplash and they’ve skillfully addressed all the issues I’ve had and taken care of all my worries. I can’t recommend them enough. I have seen multiple therapists for neck, shoulder, knee and foot issues and they are all stellar. The clinic is a positive, supportive atmosphere which truly sets it apart as well from other PT clinics I've been to before. Their first priority is truly for you to feel and perform better in their care!

In the past, I've often felt that the PT programs could be a bit formulaic, and it was hit or miss whether they actually addressed my problem, but that was not the case here. Hunter was very observant and engaged, and he frequently adapted the exercises and recommendations to best suit my needs. I appreciated how well he explained his thought processes and the purpose behind the exercises. I ended up progressing not only on the problem I'd come in for originally, but on an issue that I'd given up on several years ago. I could not be happier to be back to my normal activities. Everyone I interacted with at ProActive PT was very pleasant and friendly - I would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Jayme and the team at ProActive have been absolutely vital in my recovery from not one, but THREE knee surgeries this last year following a tibial plateau fracture of my left knee. Following my skiing accident, my surgeon told me I would not likely run or ski again. I am beyond thankful to say that is not the case. It is no mystery that my successful recovery would not be without the excellent care and expertise I have received and experienced at ProActive. It is starting to feel like my accident was a long time ago, and it is a beautiful thing to be able to put that in the past!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about the expertise and excellence of Jayme and her staff at ProActive Physical Therapy in Bellevue. I have been a patient for just over a year. I began my treatment with Jayme in October 2021. She listened to me for all the details and then did a thorough assessment. From there, not only did Jayme accurately diagnose my elbow issue in the first visit (which was actually caused by lack of rotation in the shoulder blade) but had me back competing on the tennis court at 100% within 5 weeks. Prior to seeing Jayme, I had 5 months of failed physical therapy which merely treated the symptoms. Jayme found the root cause and has not only provided the necessary treatment but has also enabled me to continue injury free with specialized strengthening and flexibility exercises. I have been an athlete for 30 years and I am extremely selective when it comes to sports medicine providers. I have been priviliged to be treated in the past by leading sports medicine professionals for Tennis Canada and the NHL. Jayme is right up there with the best of them and she runs a tight ship. I 100% recommend Jayme and her team.

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of physiotherapists I've been to, but none like tge ones at this place. If their therapy doesn't work, their friendliness and joy will work for sure. The most humane folks you'll come across, funny, with, good at their job, and super detailed with their prescribed exercises. If recommend you pay them a visit even if you think nothing is wrong with your body, because I'm sure they'll spot an area of improvement. They have created a fun lower key environment where I can take my time to do my exercises vs being rushed through and pushed out of the office quickly. My daughter goes here too. All the therapists are good.

She has successfully treated me at least four times over the years. Her staff is also highly skilled, super friendly and upbeat, which made coming to PT a pleasure. Fantastic experience: I was struggling for a year after an operation. A friend recommened Jayme. Her front office is very caring and professional run by Sarah. She has guided me through many insurance questions. There are 3 therapists, each outstanding in their own way. Jayme is the best therapist I have ever met. She has me out of pain, and very confident of a full recovery. After one month, my doctor was amazed by my progress and has prescribed that I continue my outstanding PT. I look forward to it!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the Bellevue location since it opened, and I couldn't ask for anything more than the magic they already perform. Jayme and Kristin have helped me stay on my feet and gain back the confidence to stay upright (both figuratively and literally). I think physical therapy is about overcoming the mental challenges (sometimes more important) as well as the physical challenges standing in the way of a full recovery; Jayme, Kristin and Sarah provide an environment for both, and I'm happy to absolutely recommend them. (The personal training is great, too.)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Jayme for over a year now for different issues, first when she was with another business, then followed her when she opened her own practice. She is that good! Firstly, she is Yoda when it comes to diagnosis! When I had a traumatic neck injury after a bike accident that limited my neck mobility quite a bit and caused a lot of pain, she was able to figure out exactly where the issue was, what muscle, tendons or ligaments were affected, and then explained them to me in layman terms. Post diagnosis, she worked her craft precisely and meticulously, and was always aware of how my body was responding, making micro adjustments if necessary. She even suggested sleep positions at night, different type of pillows and how to use them so I didn’t wake up with a stiff neck and a headache. Within a few weeks, I was completely off pain killers, and then through continued physical therapy, I got my mobility back. There was a time I couldn’t drive more than 15 minutes without getting a headache. Within a couple of months I was doing road trips! Her Jedi skills helped me out when I injured my back too, and off late, with a shoulder injury. (Wow, as I write this, I am now realizing the number of physical injuries I have had over the past year! Age catching up ) So far, I have been able to avoid strong prescription meds, and have recovered using PT. Beyond her professional ability to diagnose and treat the problem effectively, her clinic is a fun and jovial environment to be in. She and her associate Sarah keep the place lively and light-hearted, which for me further alleviates stress and helps my muscles relax. Except for that one time when Sarah rubbed some ice on my shoulder with only a cursory warning, and I elevated a couple of inches from the table! Didn’t realize cold, hard ice can sting quite a bit on an already inflamed shoulder! In all seriousness though, I look forward to these sessions as besides getting better physically, it helps me mentally, and is an escape valve from the daily grind of work which can take a toll on the body. I think my recovery would be a lot longer even with another PT of the same caliber but without the proactively de-stressing environment. Environment plays a role. I’ve likely tried at least a dozen therapists over many years, and Jayme tops them all. Good PTs are very hard to come by, and I think I have finally found one. I intend to stick with her for my current and future needs.
