Fantastic experience: Clean hallways. Helpful staff with directions.
Fantastic experience: My four-month old son was brought to Vallejo Kaiser's Emergency Room with the symptoms of a high fever and seizing where he was seen by two doctors, numerous nurses and other staff. He was examined and given anti-seizure medication (I think- it was a long night). Dr. Pine performed a lumbar puncture and quickly diagnosed meningitis, a very serious and fast-moving disease. Dr. Pine answered our questions clearly and told us what our son's treatment would likely be. My son was then given antibiotics to begin fighting against the disease. We were transported to another Kaiser hospital which had a pedicatric ICU. One member of the tranport team was an Infectious Disease specialist from the hospital we were sent to. This specialist told me the ER had done exactly what they should have done to help my son. It was such a relief to hear this from a knowledgable person. A few days later when my son was moved out of PICU and in to another room, Dr. Pine was kind enough to come check on my son, showing genuine concern for him. I can not thank him and the other ER staff enough for their swift, clear thinking that saved my baby's life. We recall often the people who worked to save the youngest member of our family....we are so thankful for the Vallejo Kaiser Emergency Room.
Fantastic experience: The program at Vallejo was comprehensive with a no nonsense approach to rehabilitation. The staff was both professional and experienced and always gave positive support regarding my progress and rehabilitation. I am now walking and basically living independently. At this point I am working out to enhance and improve my fitness.
Fantastic experience: Spent a decent amount of time here through the holidays as my dad was a patient after having a very bad fall. Overall, I was happy with all of the staff! Special thanks to DPT Khoa Vu and RN's Adrian and Luis who were awesome and extremely responsive.

Fantastic experience: My husband was at the rehabilitation center for 7 days. We are very grateful for all that it takes to run this facility. My husband suffered from a stroke and would definitely recommend this center. We were blessed to have such an awesome team of therapists , nurses and doctors . Thank you all for taking care of my husband . My whole family was satisfied with the care as well .
Fantastic experience: Couldn't be happier with my 28-day stay here. Excellent doctors, nurses, and therapists!!
Positive experience: I am giving a review based on visiting my uncle in the rehab center. Great new facility. Great teaching rehab center. Great students that care there. Immaculately clean room. Great clean place to work or volunteer. Parking was fine. This dropped the stars... Nurses are hit and miss. It took more than 15 minutes for the nurse to answer a room light. Patient communicated that he needed to go to the bathroom. Seriously, they only press the button if they need help right away. After asking for an extension because the family saw improvement and thought the patient would benefit from just one more week since they felt 3 week is not enough, the management had a meeting and decided to shorten the patient's stay the dispatch him to a nursing therapy facility the next day. What? Why would you do that? Are we not allowed to ask to stay so the patient can stay longer to improve more? Isn't that what the rehab is for? I feel like the nurses think they are Gods and determine who they can save and when to dump a patient. I also feel like the nurses are trying to kick you out early if they feel that the stroke patient is not improving enough in their opinion so they can offer the beds to people on their waiting list, so be careful. They have to maintain their prestigious rating. So unacceptable. It stresses out the patient and family.
