Crestwood’s programs in Vallejo are based on a commitment to providing mental health clients a continuum of care that puts them well on the road to recovery.

As with other Crestwood programs, many of our clients participate in the innovative Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) treatment model and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills training. Pre-Vocational training is offered and clients are able to participate in the Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network Program.

DBT comprehensive group is offered bi-weekly for 12 weeks and consists of individual therapy sessions that are held weekly with an individual therapist to review line and diary cards that a client keeps daily with homework. Also weekly 2-5 hour skills training classes are held that focus on emotional regulation skills, mindfulness skills, interpersonal effectiveness skills, and distress tolerance skills.

Clients at Crestwood Recovery and Rehabilitation Center participate in a largely self-initiated recovery process, directed by their individual WRAP. Clients progress through the structured levels of our program at their own pace, with support every step of the way. We offer a diverse array of classes ranging from core recovery to creative arts, independent living skills, breath and sound and holistic healing. We also offer peer groups such as Dual Recovery Support, AA/NA, Special Men’s issues and Women’s Assertiveness group and DBT support groups. Clients have access to on-site educational opportunities and representatives from numerous faith groups visit our facility each week, allowing for spiritual growth.

Clients also participate in our Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network program in the facility as service workers, which helps them to achieve meaningful employment.

Staff at Crestwood Vallejo reflect the diversity of our client population. Among other languages, staff members speak Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and Tagalog. We also provide training opportunities for local students interested in pursuing careers as psychiatric technicians, licensed vocational nurses, and registered nurses.

Creating a warm, homelike atmosphere for the elderly transitioning and living in the community is the goal of the RCFE. Supporting independence, while providing health and wellness programs, managing both physical and behavioral problems, and promoting integration into the community.

Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay.

Crestwood Vallejo is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), which provides international standards for rehabilitation organizations to follow that promotes the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services. Crestwood believes this accreditation demonstrates our unwavering commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest level of care and rehabilitation.
