Solano County Family Health Services: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I visited recently, got an appointment by using their "standby" appointment system. The person at the front desk checked in with me from time to time, appraising me of my place in line and probable wait time. Upon entering the exam room I was met with nothing but efficient, competent, and caring medical staff. The in-house lab is especially nice. Upon my request my new doctor even telephoned my daughter later that day to discuss my case. I may be on Medi-Cal, I am low-income at present, but this facility matches any fine clinic I have been to in the past. From start to end my time at this facility was well- spent and pleasant. Thank you.
Positive experience: I have found them helpful and responsive. They provided referrals when I needed them and when I needed an appointment more quickly, going in early and waiting for a walk-in usually works if you have the time to spend a few hours to get a sooner appointment. I didn't find the grief/mental health appointment very useful... but for my physical health, they've actually been pretty great.
Fantastic experience: Been coming here for 4 years now since health declined. While sometimes the things the others posters say might be the case (very rarely if ever I've seen) one thing to remember, this is a clinic. It serves mostly serves Medical, homeless and the under insured. What I have seen is the staff being yelled and sworn at because they think that the world is holding stop for them. This clinic DOES NOT prescribe opiates! Go somewhere else (Rehab perhaps?). If your running late? Call them! They have always accommodated me and saved my appointment. Give them a break! They hear allott of BS day in and day out. Be nice and realize the world does not run for you and then everyone else. Complainers? Grow up!
Fantastic experience: The health services run way better than the mental health services. Although lately they're expecting patients to go in to see their Dr every 3 months a appointment and lab appointment as well. But the mental health department just doesn't seem to be very helpful at all.
