Fantastic experience: I have had the most unfortunate year with Covid twice and strep throat 3 times. I work full time and I’m new to Vallejo and my job so I haven’t set up my primary care physician. Needless to say I needed urgent care. Amy runs this location and is absolutely amazing. It’s quick and painless to get in and out. Download the Kyla app before your appointment and you’ll be all good in 30- 1 hour. Monday- Friday. It’s really convenient. I’m very grateful for this little spot in the back of the Safeway.

From scheduling an appointment with them the last minute for a medical clearance, to showing up way too early for my appointment (and they accommodated me with NO problem) The two RNs who assisted me (I am really embarassed that I forgot their names. I am sorry) during my appointment were really accommodating and friendly. I like how they made me feel super comfortable and how they explained how process works out even without asking. I went at the Vallejo Ca. location. I am definitely going to this location again if I need to. Thank you for your help.

Fantastic experience: I was really nervous about getting a covid test. Nurse Amy was very gentle when administering the test. She took great care to make sure all health and safety protocols were followed.

Fantastic experience: Angelica is an incredible person. She is what you would hope for at a location, because she truly cares. Extremely empathetic, friendly, and thoughtful, and anticipated my needs and questions. When my results did not come, she went out of her way to call me and ensure I would not be charged an extra fee. The service was great, doctors helping me extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and prices reasonable, given the circumstances.

Fantastic experience: Came in on a Sunday for an ear pain I️ was experiencing. The horrors of going to an urgent care and even medical office appts, I️ honestly had low Expectations. This place exceeded my expectations. The nurse working was so kind and listened to my issue and concerns. I️ had to wait about 15 mins for an available doctor to meet with me over video chat, but I️ honestly did not mind. The doctor too was very attentive, did not rush me, and answered any questions I️ had about my ear pain and any alternative meds I️ could take. It was such a pleasant experience. I️ honestly hate going to urgent care or any doctor appointments because it always feels rushed to me and I️ don’t feel like the doctors really listen. I’m not someone who gets sick very often, but if I️ ever have any future medical issues, I will be sure to come here. Thank you Action Health!

Fantastic experience: The convenience of having the clinic in a grocery store with plenty of parking. Meeting with a knowledgeable nurse, and the dr on web cam was different but I embrace the technology. Made my appointment and was seen immediately. The prescription was ordered to the pharmacy literally next door. All paperless. Much more personal than waiting for a doctor in a cold empty room for 20 minutes and meeting with the dr for 10 minutes!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, great medical support when I had two sets of stitches removed. Nurse was very careful and kept me fully informed during the removal. Since she and the doctor (on-line) thought one area was infected, they prescribed an antibiotic, which I was able to pick up at the Safeway Pharmacy right next to the clinic. Don't be troubled that the clinic is inside a Safeway; they took appointments, and provided superb medical support.

Fantastic experience: The technicians were fantastic and very attentive. It was also my first experience having a virtual appointment with a doctor. The diagnosis was quick, efficient, and I felt better within an hour. She was also attentive and expressed genuine concern. I bypassed 3 closer urgent care facilities due to this locations’s great ratings (and the bad ratings of the others) and I’m glad I did! Will come back here for any future urgent care needs.

Fantastic experience: I had a fever for 48hrs straight and was starting to get really worried but afraid the ER would just have me waiting and then tell meto go see my primary care provider. That's when i decided to look up urgent care and found this place online and was able to make an appointment the same day within an hour. The nurse was great and so was the doctors. I was prescribed antibiotics and later the same night my fever finally broke. These guys are great and made me feel cared for.

Fantastic experience: Located INSIDE Safeway, to the left of the Pharmacy, this is a quick and friendly center for urgent care. The LVNs were very kind, quick with checking me in, and thorough. This is a telehealth clinic which means the LVNs take your vital signs, record your symptoms, then connect with you to a medical provider through video conference. It’s an easy and quick way to get necessary medications!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Action Urgent Care for over a year and each visit has been wonderful. The health care people are knowledgeable, personable, prompt, and make the patient feel good about their visit with them. I can’t speak highly enough of everyone at Action Urgent Care. Fantastic experience: Broke my foot in an unfortunate laundry accident (don't ask). Went to the Capital location for a check-in and got X-rays done at the San Carlos (San Jose) location. Both offices super clean with friendly and knowledgeable stuff. Very very pleased with the service and facilities.

Fantastic experience: I had a pleasant 1st time experience at Action Urgent Care. I was skeptical on walking into a grocery store to seek medical attention, but I decided to give it a whirl. I was greeted by Rachel (the nurse) I was promptly advised that this was a virtual facility and that I would speak with a care provider through video conferencing. Rachel was extremely nice and knowledgable. Rachel helped guide me through every step of the process, she was very patient, very detailed and made sure I was comfortable, she was very thorough with the information she entered into the system for the care provider to review. Like all doctor visits there was a wait for the care provider (treating nurse/doctor) to see me. After I went over my concerns with Rachel, we had about a 10 minute wait for the care provider to arrive (on screen). My care provider was Maria, a physicians assistant (i believe), their version a what I know as a nurse practitioner. Once Maria was "in the room", Rachel went over my case with her and then Maria began to ask me questions about my concerns. Rachel remained in the room with me. The whole ordeal lasted approximately 20/30 minutes. It was easy. I felt comfortable with the visit and the outcome. I would prefer a face to face appointment but this alternative was acceptable under the circumstances. I would definitely use Action Urgent Care again. I am glad it is available for non emergency treatment. Overall, my experience went well and was a success. I have a follow up appointment coming up and I'm looking forward to it. Glad I decided to give virtual treatment a try.
