Fantastic experience: Desert valley Hospital has changed a lot for the better ! My first time being admitted in a hospital ever . Emergency room nurse and doctors very concerned and professional!! Didn't take long to get me in a room . Every RN NURSE, CNA , TRANSPORTATION, CLEANING STAFF was the best !! Treated me with dignity and respect. Even the training students was great ! RN made sure they was actually learning . One of my RN nurses was Gabby !! The best !!! LVN Desserra . My doctor ❤️ the best. I'm forever grateful. Juanita

Fantastic experience: My father spent last week in the ICU and ended up passing away Friday night 09/29/2023. We received such wonderful care from the hospital, doctors and especially the Nurses. Honestly, way beyond what we expected. We were treated with dignity, compassion, attentiveness and professionalism. Our family would like to publicly thank the staff and nurses for their kindness and support during this time. Truly impressive and soothing while we spent the last days with our father. Thank you Desert Valley Hospital, Staff and Nurses. I wish we could thank you all by name.

Fantastic experience: I have never felt so heard in a busy emergency room. Nurse Jessica took her time to hear my concern and explained my situation perfectly to a wonderful er Dr Mr Ashby. I was monitored closely by nurse Shawnte until my situation improved. No one likes the er but I was very well taken care of. So grateful.

Fantastic experience: The hospital service is a 5 but if I had to rate the ER I'd give it 3 stars because it takes forever to get admitted when you go through the ER. I checked in my elderly dad who's a diabetic, with mobility issues - he had an infection with sugar levels above 500. Checked in 9:30p approx and he got a ER bed around 6a and a hospital room around 9:30a the following day. Yes I know it's by emergency priority. Other than that the nurses are friendly and kept me well informed.

Fantastic experience: I brought my mom into Desert Valley Hospital, due to her not being able to go to the bathroom. She was constipated and they took her in fairly quickly. She was given the best care while in the ER. She didn't get her room until late that evening, but she was comfortable. She was admitted and the Dr's gave her meds for pain and were able to clear her colon. Three nurses were very helpful and attentive to my mom's needs. They were very informative. In the past, I've heard some ugly things about this hospital, but my experience with my mom's needs, was a very good experience. Thank you to the entire team, Dr's and nurses, for a job well done.

Fantastic experience: First time coming to this ER and I have to say that it has been the best experience. From the check-in staff, RN’s, LVN, and the doctor everyone was extremely kind and gentle with my mother. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: The labor and delivery team are amazing. I have been going for weekly monitoring on me and baby and they have been kind and very informative with everything going on with both of us. The ultrasound team has been amazing as well.

Fantastic experience: I had great care after my surgery! My nurses were all caring and polite! They made sure that I was comfortable at all times and what made things even better, I got a get well card from them that’s very kind of them to do that for me. I appreciated each and every person that helped me along the way.

Fantastic experience: I'm new to San Bernardino county first time at this Hospital. Outstanding Dr.s and Nurses very informative about what procedures I was going to be having and very nice and calm surroundings. A little problem with the wait time in the lobby but service desk would gladly answer any questions about the wait with a smile and very good attitude. I appreciated that. I recommend this hospital to any other I've been.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t have received better care! From checking in at the main lobby for pre-op, all the way through to being wheeled to my car, EVERY SINGLE encounter was positive! The Cardiac Center is where I had my procedure, and boy is it state of the art! If you are scheduled for a heart related surgery or procedure, rest easy-you are in excellent, caring hands! And a shout out to my cardiologist, Dr. Mark Russell- you sir, are a God send! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My wife went in to the ER at about 3am Friday January 6th 2023. That place was a zoo! All the beds were full. Both walls of each hallway had patients on gurneys. It was controlled organized Kaos! I didn't get the Dr's name nor the nurses. But the attentiveness, kindness, care and courtesy was UNSURPASSED! I mean seriously! You had to turn sideways to go through the hallways! This Dr and his team handled it Beautifully! Please pass this on to them. Then when my wife was in her room in the main hospital. The kindness and care carried over! After the nurse took my wife's vitals. She looked at me and said,"Mr Baugh, can I get you something to drink? Maybe a sandwich or something? The kindness and care is not just given to the patients! All I can say, is WOW! Thank you to all of the Dr's and nurses there at Desert Valley hospital! There is something special going on there! Fantastic experience: I recently had surgery and the surgical team pre and post op was so awesome. All of the nursing team and everyone on the med surge unit while I was there were great at making sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Desert Valley.

Fantastic experience: The hospital staff was wonderful, especially Angela in hospital release dept. Angela assisted me in my release by providing excellent assistance with facts and knowledge. In fact, the entire nursing staff was professional, with excellent patient care and understanding. My entire stay was an enjoyable experience after my heart surgery!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an abilical cord hernia,and even tho the surgeon said send me home the nurses and the director seen otherwise and took care of me for a few more days,the nurses were incredible,friendly,and computant on there job,they did there job very well I felt cared for,it really help my healing process thank you all at desert valley hospital,I'm recovering at home and gaining strength by my nurse advice,God bless all of you and your families.

Fantastic experience: My hubby went in for chest pain…by the 2nd day they found several serious health issues. They took great care of him. Nurses are very kind! 3 specialist Drs helped him LIVE, thx be to God. Day 5 we went home!

Fantastic experience: I decided to transfer with Dr. Zand after 30 weeks of pregnancy. Because I wasn’t sure and comfortable with my two prior OB. And this is the best decision I ever made this year I have my baby at 41 weeks, Natural, and we are both healthy. The staff are very excellent, nice and care. I might end up being induce or even c-section if I am not transfer here. I am so glad and thankful to Dr. Zand who trusted me that I can do natural delivery. And there is 1 outstanding OB Nurse name ‘Edee’, she is the best Nurse I ever had. No body like here. And I am not gonna make it if she is not the person who God sent to help me and my baby. Thank you so much Desert Valley Hospital for your amazing services. I definitely will continue working with this hospital for any circumstances.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Hesperia a few months ago and decided to have my baby at Desert Valley since it was the closest to my home and I didn’t really know the area so much. I am so glad I did! My OB/GYN was Dr. Maryam Zand and she is just absolutely amazing. I love her. She helped get me registered at her office and was incredibly quick and efficient and made me feel comfortable every time I visited her office. She was incredibly attentive and just straight to the point. I went into labor and the birthing unit at Desert Valley was just absolutely wonderful. They are incredibly caring, kind and compassionate. I always felt very comfortable and all the nurses were incredibly sweet. Every single time I went to the birthing unit I felt welcomed and cared for and it was just a great experience. On the day of my delivery my nurses were Emma and Jessica. These two nurses were just amazing every single step of the way they made me laugh they made me feel comfortable and treated me really nicely. They went above and beyond to make my delivery special and were there for me through it all. I am incredibly happy with the service that I received at Desert Valley and couldn’t be happier than to have delivered my baby at this hospital. They were so sweet and even went above and beyond to give me a bottle of sparkling cider and chocolate cake and helped me with tips and tricks on how to breast-feed my baby. Like I said, every single nurse that I interacted with was so sweet and caring and kind and I am just blown away at the care that I received. Thank you Emma and Jessica! Update: I had issues with my epidural during my labor. The doctor didn’t administer it correctly and only my left side of my body was numb. I felt everything else on my right side which was excruciating. It’s now been 9 months and I still have pain on my epidural site. I would recommend to do research before getting it, don’t let the nurses talk you into it. I regret it very much.

Fantastic experience: After all my concern about my hernia operation, all the staff in the hospital they make feel so appreciated and important as well, and they take care of me very well, no matter what... I least for me ... I appreciate all the help from them...thank you guys... God bless you...

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal labor and delivery staff, these amazing women made my husband and I feel so comfortable and aware or anything we needed to know as first time parents. They’re also really there for you as a patient so whatever your personal preferences are they will do everything they can to assist. We also felt they didn’t shove any of their own personal opinions on us and let us make our own choices regarding our personal rights/preferences with our child.

Fantastic experience: I like to go to the urgent care there at Desert Valley ,my experience there has been ok I mean we all hate the time we spend waiting but I understand but I know the nurses and the Dr can be overwhelmed at times. But I have to say I was seen at urgent care by the Nurse Practitioner Dina Badreldin she was great how she explained my condition showed concern more that normal I felt she was very sesere .But today a few days later she personally called me making sure I was taking my meds and making sureI follow up with my Dr. Thanks to here I will always go to Desert Valley. Thank you to her and all you Dr Nurses and staff making a difference in the people in your community who come to you for help.

Fantastic experience: I gave birth here and I had such an amazing experience. The labor team were very helpful and understanding in any accommodations. i’m so grateful for the staff for making me as comfortable as they could during that time.

Positive experience: I’m currently in this hospital. Not having much experience with hospitals in general I didn’t know what to expect. Especially after reading the reviews and comments. Except for the “weekend” doctor I’ve been blessed with wonderful sweet kind and very warm nurses, aides and doctor. I have a pulmonary issue and it’s taking a while to stabilize me apparently but I’ve no complaints regarding the level of care considering how busy the er was and remains. The food is bland of course but there is plenty of it. I feel better but not yet prepared to go home. Doctor concurs. It’s not the Ritz, it’s a tidy little community hospital and I feel blessed with it’s existence.

Dr. Siddiqui ensured that all the appropriate tests and scans were performed for her. He was super helpful in connecting us to other doctors and resources that could help us with her care after her discharge. Fantastic experience: Never have I experienced a calm and exciting labor and delivery experience until I came here. Hands down the best of the best. Nurse Edee, Tasha, and Lisa were the most kindest of people I have ever met. They are the literal definition of "loving what you do". I was in great hands, as was my baby boy. Edee made the whole journey a relaxing and fun atmosphere. Everyone was just so amazing. They went above and beyond in making sure everything came out fine and baby boy arrived after one push! That speaks for itself, they made it possible for everything to be smooth. Thank you so much Birthplace for the wonderful experience ♥️

Fantastic experience: I have had both of my sons at the birthplace and let me tell you I absolutely loved it. My most recent birth was about a week and a half ago and it was amazing. They told me ever step of my induction process and where things might change based off of different factors. Everyone worked so well together during my delivery I felt like I was in the best hands. Ashley H was my night nurse and she did everything she could to help me get as much rest as possible. I am so grateful for the team that helped me welcome my babies to the world.

Fantastic experience: Great hospital. From doctor experience to nurses and just all around staff, they are all wonderful. I had 3 of my kids here 2018-2022. Nothing to complain about. They took care of me like how a patient is supposed to be taken care of. Very friendly and caring people. I would definitely recommend this hospital

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here. The ER was super busy, but they all tried their best to take care of everyone. Yes the wait was super long. But it’s to be expected with only 3 ER’s up here. Once admitted and got to my room my nurse Lilian at night and Sophia during the day were so sweet and helpful. They made a horrible situation bearable. Thank you for the excellent care.

Fantastic experience: I had just relocated to California for work and unexpectedly encountered some health issue, which I have never had any health issues before. This hospital was amazing! I could not of asked for better care for the week I was there. Dr. Siva, the hospitalist and the nurses were absolutely amazing. I even received a card from the nurses within a couple weeks of being discharged. Tanya, Alyssa, Jenn, Linda were wonderful. My father was a physician and knowing about health care these days is sometimes unsettling. However, I would not of wanted any other care than what I received here.
