Fantastic experience: While it did take a long time for me to be seen as I suffered an injury to my cornea during a non related surgery. In specifically addressing the emergency department, I was treated very nicely by the entire staff and Lisa Rodgers, my NP was awesome! She eased my pain immediately after being brought back as well as eased my mind! I've been to all emergency departments in the area and have been treated unfairly or just given drugs. I'm happy I chose this emergency department to go to! Thanks VVGMC!

Fantastic experience: This hospital was very clean (despite guests throwing their masks and trash on the floor) someone would come make cleaning rounds. Staff was pretty on top of things. It was very busy. It’s an Emergency room. (To be expected.) My visit was around four hours. (Seems to be about the normal visit time) I really have to commend the staff for having the compassion they do for the patients here. They are extremely polite despite some of the rudest guests and kept composure. Customer service was a plus. Pro tip: Help them help you. Be compliant and make it easy for both parties. Be able to explain your pain and symptoms and come in like you want help. If it’s not a real emergency go to urgent care, and if you need more than that find a primary doctor so they are attentive the way a lot of you are looking for. Lastly if you are reading this it means you are looking for a hospital. This one works for your emergency and I hope you feel better!

Fantastic experience: When I was admitted for exacerbation of heart failure I was very scared, depressed, and felt like there was not much left for me to keep fighting for. Then Josh Licon appeared and changed everything. From the first moment he showed so much concern and compassion. He instinctively knew that I needed to feel like I still mattered and pulled me out of the hole I was sinking into. One can’t measure the value or worth of someone like Josh, but I really hope Victor Valley Hospital realizes what a prize they have in him. I don’t even think I would have gone forward with my treatment if not for his positive encouragement the entire way. I hope all the good things he has done for others come back to him ten fold in his life. I am so blessed to have crossed paths with him! Fantastic experience: I have had nothing less than the best most professional care every time I have been to Victor Valley Global Medical Center. The staff is always amazing, especially considering the stressful conditions they work day in and day out. Three times I have been to the emergency room in the most dire condition, and have been immediately tendend to. I have been to bigger hospitals, but none compare to the care and treatment I have received here. Thank you all for your amazing service

Fantastic experience: 6-24-2023: I went there because my BP was very low (60's) & everyone there were very good to me. I was able to leave after only 4 hrs because I was able to stabilize my BP without being admitted to the hospital. Thanks to all the staff for your care & my health issue that day. John Watts

But most recently I was well taken care of after returning from Africa with a swolen Uvula.. I've had countless random hospital visits across the entire USA as I travel for a living.. Best in Class service , Second to None.. The first Doctor to give me IV antibiotics I'm my Entire Life..

Positive experience: I had my baby a month ago the nurses were all absolutely amazing the room was clean and nice my ob was great! Only reason I give it 3 stars the old Chinese lady who did my epidural horrible!!! I got poked over 15 times she couldn't properly do it she needs to be removed I seen from other ladies this is not the first time she will paralyze someone one day!

Fantastic experience: I gave birth here to my first baby a month ago. My first ever stay in a hospital in 27 years. And let me tell you. The staff was great. My L&D nurses were fantastic. Jacky my day nurse made my day laboring alone while waiting for my husband to be there easier than I could have imagined. She advocated for me when she could tell I needed something for pain, checked on me regularly enough that we were able to have conversations so I felt less alone. She made the day part of my all day and night labor as comfortable as I could be. My night nurse was Lauren and she was just as fantastic as Jacky. Listened to me when I was feeling pain when my epidural was wearing off, helped me move around while trying to get my baby to naturally turn. Made sure my husband was as comfortable as I was while waiting for baby. Helped me tremendously while it was time to deliver. Honestly these two ladies made my day and gave me the best experience I could have hoped for! If either of them could’ve been my postpartum nurse as well my entire experience during my entire hospital stay would have been absolutely wonderful.

Fantastic experience: All though the wait was long when I went they did a lot of tests to find out what was wrong with me instead of just getting my symptoms and sending me home with a prescription. The staff was so sweet ! Also writing this review on be half of my mom who came here back in April unconscious and we thought she was not gonna make it, for days no one knew why she wouldn’t wake up. They saved her life she collapsed due to having blood clots in her lungs that she didn’t know she had. Thank you to the staff who works long late hours just to help others. You are noticed and appreciated ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had my first surgical procedure at this hospital. I was so nervous, I cried on the way to the operating room. The OR staff were so nice and comforting. They took really good care of me. Highly professional with a very good bedside manner. I thank God for them.

Fantastic experience: I am basing my 5 star rating on my many E.R. experiences in the High Desert (thank you accident prone kids) I am so impressed with Victory Valley E.R. I have always had a shorter wait time than other hospitals. The staff at front desk is caring, friendly, professional and sometimes hilarious, even when they are super busy, they havnt lost their cool and still treat you like a human. Also the nurses and technicians move quickly and efficiently to get tests etc. done and get the results to the Dr. So we can get home!

Fantastic experience: The Hospital made some upgrades recently cleaning the ER waiting room and repainting the hallways. The staff has been trying their best to get people out as fast as they can considering how short staffed.

Fantastic experience: I was there in March to deliver my baby. And I just have to say how amazing the labor and delivery staff was! They made my whole experience amazing and helped me stay calm throughout the whole process. They tended to all my needs, and also treated my husband so well! After we got to our postpartum room, the nurses there were also so nice! They helped me by teaching me new ways to Burp my baby and to also teach me how to breastfeed properly. They were on top of bringing me all my postpartum necessities to keep me comfortable and kept on my pain meds so I was never in pain. They all made my husband feel involved too. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely deliver our next child there.

I definitely loved the support I got from you , THANK YOU SOO MUCH. & for doctor SHAW smh I did not like how you basically rushed my process to get a epidural only to still feel the labor pains smh you really need to work on patience because what you did was truly unacceptable if you don’t like your job RETIRE

Fantastic experience: I gave birth to my first baby boy here a few days ago and I’m so grateful to the staff for helping me and taking great care of me. Hannah, my delivery nurse was incredible and so helpful. Sofia was also amazing with my husband, me and our baby and she made our experience so great. I highly recommend this hospital to expecting mothers!

Fantastic experience: I had a chemo port placed in me here yesterday and the experience was excellent! I didn’t feel as if the hospital was dirty however the reviews that say it is could be more about the emergency room because the main hospital was clean and they treated me great!

Fantastic experience: I was not allowed back with my wife, she was having a emergency with her pregnancy, I have no symptoms. Then they allowed a maskless food delivery person in without a temperature check or even asked if they had any symptoms. Is Covid stopped by food? I would not have an issue if we were both not allowed but it’s funny that they are strict with me but not someone who is visiting multiple people daily. Update: as frustrating as the above was I am with my wife after giving birth, the entire process was pure perfection. We were completely babied and every single need was met very quickly. I did not want to remove the above because I felt that was an issue, but I did give a 5 star instead of like a 4 or 3 because sometimes it’s not completely their fault.

Fantastic experience: I just delivered my son !!!! KC was the best nurse ever !!!!! She really loves her job & did so well explaining every detail ….explaining the whole process of everything . I felt with my first … my daughter which I delivered at same hospital they didn’t explain nothing to me …… I’m thankful I had the best with my son 9/11/2022 I’ll forever be thankful for the tips …. & everything . For being so kind & I actually felt I got somebody who loved their job … great personality! DR.KING delivered my son & him and KC made a great team as they made me feel comfortable, they were fast , they got the job done right !

Fantastic experience: I delivered 4 babies here. The staff is amazing and very attentive. They were so accommodating for my last delivery. I was a surrogate and they went above and beyond for myself and my couple. I loved all the nurses especially Devanie, Sandi, Kim and Marianne. Also Dr. Melanie Arora was amazing!!! She did an emergency c- section and made me feel safe because she talked me through the whole process. I would highly recommend this hospital and the staff. They were all so kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I just have to say been coming to this hospital for about 7 years and I have seen a big turn around since the patient advocate has arrived Joanna Castrol thank you for your work you shook the place upin a good way. I cant even show my gratitude towards you and the staff. I have never been so impressed with the dedessert best kept secret. I came in very ill and even after life lasting effects to my life quality is better than ever . Your hospital is like a wellness center. I couldn't belive how hard everyone works . I felt guilty pushing the call light but the nurses after reassures I still couldn't do it. Staff looked in on me every hour to make sure i was OK . By bringing me water and asking me constantly if I was ok. The food is delicious I looked forward to eating my meals . My sister was so surprised since I am very picky. Not only was it presentable but delcious. The hospital is very clean dated but clean. I have a while new love for life life the best 10 days of my life. Outstanding job. .

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would!! I was just in recently to have a procedure done. I was treated with respect and every person I encountered at this hospital were nice and friendly! It makes me sad to see all the bad reviews on here but I understand every place has their good and unfortunately their bad too. The staff here were GREAT to me! From walking in and leaving. Especially the staff in ambulatory they were AMAZING!! Rosemary was the BEST!!!! Another nurse in ambulatory her name started with an M I cant remember her name but she was GREAT too!! You can tell these ladies love their job and what they do! Blessings to all the staff here! YA'LL ROCK!!

Fantastic experience: I wish I can give 10 stars The labor crew is amazing! I want to give a huge thank you to Kim, Alyssa and Angie. Made our week here bareable. I know my wife was going through a lot and they made sure to give her peace and mind. They were able to keep my new born to- be and her self safe through the conditions she struggled in. Thank you guys very much! I recommend these 3 and will ask for them personally in the future. Kudos to you ladies!

Fantastic experience: I was transferred here from another hospital and was extremely skeptical because of the reviews, even mentioned it before being transferred and one of the nurses told me “you have to understand because of Covid and everything going on people are understaffed” I won’t put this lightly. Besides giving birth this was the best experience I’ve ever had being admitted to a hospital. All of the staff were great and the nurses… phenomenal! Of course you could tell they had their hands full but their bedside manner was the best I’ve ever seen. I think as long as you come in with a open mind and think how much they have on their plate while taking care of not only you but other patients your time here will be great. The nurses really care and never made me feel like they just rushed to go to their next patient. Will be making a phone call to the hospital so these hard working nurses work don’t go unnoticed.

Fantastic experience: I want to give a special thanks to Kiana in the emergency room area. I have had allot of nurses poke me multiple times in my arm because they can’t find my vain. This young lady poked me one time and hit my vain with no problems. Thank you kiana we need more nurses like you who knows about our human body !!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Labor and delivery is awesome ! I gave birth to my first son at a different hospital and almost died due to left over placenta ....I came here for my second son in 2019 and nervous for that to happen again but I had the most amazing birth experience I can ask for all the staff and drs were very nice and professional and took care of me and my baby boy and now pregnant with baby 3 I’m looking forward to giving birth here again !

Fantastic experience: For the large amount of patients with varying cases, the severely unstaffed medical team did their absolute best. I was there for a long period of time, but so was everyone else, not the team’s fault. Victor Valley needs to establish a new and better Global Med hospital for the growing population the area, this shouldn’t be at the bottom of the list.

Fantastic experience: Nursing staff has been exceptional. So caring and attentive, from Labor and Delivery to the OR to post partum/recovery. Sandi, Jacqueline, Vanessa, Melissa, Jemma, Jessica, Jasmine, Rose, Suzanne. I've certainly missed a few names. Literally everyone from the maternity ward has been so professional -thorough and understanding. All the doctors were very supportive and caring as well but the nursing staff is where VVGMC really shines. Fantastic experience: I just want to leave a review for the treatment i recieved yesterday. I had a angiogram done yesterday and i could not ask for better service! From time of check-in to out-patient. Everybody in ambulatory service was great in explaining everything to me (I'm a big baby when it comes to this stuff). I had zero pain. Thanks again crew, keep up the great work and service.

Fantastic experience: My baby daughter was born in this hospital this week and honestly the delivery and postpartum rooms were very very nice and helpful to our every needs. We were there for three day for our daughter's birth. My partner has never been so comfortable in the hospital with her experience. To all the nurses that were there helping us thank you so very much

Fantastic experience: Paramedics Davis and Eber were professional, reassuring, calm and they both saved my life as they acted quickly and efficiently. They were both topnotch as was the ER staff. They were all kind & caring from the housekeeper to the radiology tech. I was very impressed by all the staff here, and of course my ER nurse was amazing (sorry I didn't get his name). He was calm, reassuring, efficient, kept updating me and my husband over the phone in spite of being crazy busy and having other patients. They were all so wonderful in my time of distress I wish I could give them all a hug. Even the ER Dr had a great sense of humor- Frederick Lloyd. Wonderful lovely people.

Fantastic experience: I want to give a very big thank you to the labor and delivery girls who attended me on my bday to have my first baby girl Ally Stella.. i was induced and Kristen, Melissa were dealing with me the hole day!!! Amanda you are truly awesome..!!! My night girl Alyssa and one more that I'm missing that she goes around departments at times I love u girls I will never forget the experience...!!! On postpartum my nurse Stacy...!!! We had a hard time but u ladies made it all better.. 09/10/2020..

Fantastic experience: If you are coming for you’re kids tonsillectomy, Don’t worry. Great experience in the Ambulatory department. Nurse Keith was great. With advice, attentive and gave great comfort for us being young parents. Fantastic experience: I thought that I had reviewed this facility before. But I do not see my review. The staff at this hospital saved my life. I suffered cardiac arrest from a heart attack...one which many medical professionals, including my sister who is a nurse educator, told me that very few people make it back from. The staff at this hospital performed CPR on me until they got my heartbeat back. Between the clinic, the ambulance and this hospital, we have estimated that CPR was performed on me for 45 minutes before I came back. My brother told me that it really stood out to him that I seemed to truly matter to those who he saw working on me...and he is not easy to impress. I want to say that it sounds to me like this staff, like the personnel in the ambulance and at Kaiser's Victorville clinic, were well-trained and highly capable personnel who took their responsibilities seriously and pulled me not just away from the jaws of death, but out of death's throat. And there is no exaggeration despite the euphemism.
