Westgate Gardens Care Center

Fantastic experience: Love this place! I hated that I couldn't take care of my grandma myself and Westgate Gardens has given me peace about this tough decision. They love her and take excellent care of her.

Fantastic experience: My stay at West gate Gardens Care Center, was very nice. All the people that worked with me was so nice an gave me great care while I was there. When I asked asked a question about something I got an answer right away. Thank you to everyone that took such great care care of me during my time there with a broken hip. Also, I'd like to thank the Therapy staff for working with me so I could come home. God Bless you all.

Fantastic experience: My mom was at Westgate for about 5 months. When I wanted her transferred to one of their sister facilities so she's closer to me and I could spend more time with her the administrator helped get me in contact with the administrator of the other facility. He also assisted me and making sure the transition went smoothly for her transfer over there. Westgate is the top notch facility the only reason I needed to move her was because I needed her closer to me other than that there would not be one reason I would have moved her.

Fantastic experience: My mother has been a resident at Westgate for over a year and she has been treated so well there. The staff is great. She is well cared for and I’m very grateful for that.

Fantastic experience: I am a nursing instructor and Westgate gardens is one of our clinical sites. I have taken my students to Westgate Gardens for a few years and have been impressed with the facility and the staff. Staff is very welcoming to my students and play a critical role in their learning. The CNAs are hardworking and care so much about the patients. I have worked in long term care for over 15 years and I can genuinely say If I had family in need of rehab or long term care, they would go to Westgate gardens.

Fantastic experience: Westgate Gardens Care Center, I was there for 18 days & I wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of me & helping me get stronger & so much more better that I would be able to get back home & thank you to all of the Caregivers that helped me to recover! From the Nurses to the Aids & to all of the Students & to the whole Physical Therapy staff members & the Doctors & the kitchen staff members also for all of the nutritional food that helped me keep my weight down! & also to the office staff members for all they did also for me. Fantastic experience: I have the honor of working with some of the best caregivers on the planet. Westgate Gardens is filled with incredible frontline healthcare heroes who have stepped forward time and time again in the face of this challenging pandemic and sacrificed so much for the care and well-being of their residents. Westgate is known throughout the Visalia community as the healthcare provider and employer of choice because of our commitment to taking care of people in a happy, helpful, and heartfelt way. Westgate staff are wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I have been working at Westgate Gardens since February of 2020 in the Social Services department. I have enjoyed everyday working here!

Fantastic experience: I have been in health care for over 50 years and have been teaching for 20 years now. I also worked as a CNA here back in the early 80’s and just loved the facility and patient care. Many years I have heard complaints that are not even close to being factual to what was going on that day. I always have said, “So, why are you not caring for your family yourself?” It is always and I answer that they are not willing to put in any time but complain about what they are not willing to do on any given day. I took care of my mother over 47 years and by myself but had family always saying what they think is wrong or what I should do better. If you do not like something then you put in the time and effort to make a positive change by helping. This facility has hired many of my first time nurses and it is not an easy job just to get your patient care done on time. We should not even have a long care facility in the USA but there are too many families who do not want to take the time and they do not even visit until the patient has passed. I have worked the floor with over double my load of patients without help from family. Until you are willing to help, please stop putting unfair negative posting on care facility sites when you are not willing to do anything for the patient. Patients are better here than with families who do not want them, Amen and I thank God for what they do!
