Fantastic experience: My mother had the best care i Just cant thank everyone enough. The physical theropy she recieved was amazing and helped her so ver y much. The nurses and CNA's were tremendous. Thank you everyone for helping me through this stressful time for me as well. The social work department is the best.

Positive experience: While visiting my mom noticed several lights on, the patients would ask me for assistance when I passed their room. They waited over 30 minutes for someone to answer the lights. When I asked the nurse for my mother's meds she said the nurse and can were on their break.

Fantastic experience: Posting on behalf of a residents family member. My mother Marilyn, has been a resident of Linwood Meadows in Visalia since July 2022. The following teams: maintenance, business-financial, laundry, physical therapists, reception area, human resources, janitorial, dining, and the activities groups are above, and beyond what you would expect to find in a skilled nursing facility. There is another group that we appreciate. (RNA-not sure what the initials mean), they do everything from assisting with meals, exercising and working closely with residents. The very hard working nursing teams, no matter what hall we are on, greet us with a smile. The LVN’s and CNA’s have become extended family to Mother, helping her with daily medications, clothes changes, bathing etc. We’ve met so many great people (residents and staff) and are appreciative of the care and kindness Mother receives. She is happy, but her moods change often due to her dementia. At 2:00 daily, all residents meet in the Dining Hall for a well planned out activity. The activities team assists with Bingo, art projects, movies and popcorn, etc. Mother may be wheeled in feeling kind of blue, but when she exits, there is a smile on her face. Thank you everyone!

Fantastic experience: I would like to show my appreciation and gratitude to everyone at Linwood Meadows. My Aunt is very particular of her environment and meeting new people. Our first steps inside we were greeted by warm professional staff that took their time to make my Aunt comfortable and explain in detail what she could expect her days to be filled with. Therapy sessions were amazing and so helpful. Everyday they made her feel like a superhero. They accommodated her picky eating habits with substitutions that made her feel great. My Aunt cried happily when she was being discharged because she was going to miss not just staff from a care facility but friends that helped her get her life back. My Aunt and myself will never forget the special attention that they gave her and all there patients.

Fantastic experience: I am the Marketing Director for Linwood Meadows Care Center. Our facility is one of few skilled nursing facilities in the city of Visalia, accepting patients from Kaweah Health Medical Center, as well as Tulare, Hanford and Fresno hospitals. While our facility specializes in short-term physical therapy and rehab, several of our long-term residents call Linwood home. Speaking from an insider perspective, our care center is made up of dedicated staff that work to make this facility a home. Round the clock nursing care, physical therapy, housekeeping, dining and activities make for an enriching experience for each one of our residents. I have attended several activities with our residents including bingo, crafts, movies, painting and karaoke. They look forward to our afternoon activity everyday. Our common room contains a library of books, games and a morning coffee social. As the COVID pandemic comes to an end, we are making the effort to be as welcoming as possible to visitors such as family, friends, kids and pets! We currently accommodate birthdays, family gatherings and family photos. We will be stocking up on toys, treats, books, games and puzzles as as we anticipate the influx of family visits.

Fantastic experience: Linwood meadows care center provides quality care with a family like atmosphere. The staff is very friendly with great customer service. They have and amazing Therapy department that provide Physical Therapy ,Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. The residents get to enjoy Daily activities provided by an amazing activities team. Residents also enjoy 3 course meals provided by a professional dietary team. The housekeeping team goes above and beyond to maintain a clean facility for the residents. A beautician is on site two times a week to offer hair cuts / colors and perms. Linwood meadows is a great facility!!!!

Fantastic experience: Since the moment we arrived to the time my family member was discharged all the staff at Linwood Meadows were amazing people. Administration staff we're amazing and very helpful. The medical staff we're just over the top amazing people and and I'm very grateful for the care they provided to my loved one. He enjoyed therapy, the Therapy staff pushed him when he needed it, but overall they made it fun and enjoyable for him to get better and a very special Thanks to the kitchen and cleaning crew. Truly recommend Linwood Meadows.

Fantastic experience: My great Aunt was a patient at Linwood Meadows and the patient care was fantastic. From the therapy department to the administration staff, she received quality care and her needs we met by the employees and exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to take a moment to say that the Admissions Team at Linwood Meadows is fantastic. During a rough time, they were very good and patient when explaining the admissions process. And, even when they aren’t able to accept a patient at their facility, I felt comfortable that they took the time to really review the case and listen to all the information before making a final decision. I really appreciate their timeliness and thoroughness of providing facility tours and a home visit.

Fantastic experience: Linwood Meadows remarkable facility! From the admission process to discharge, the care of each Elder is customized to meet their individual physical and psychosocial needs. The atmosphere is warm, loving, and the employees are competent and professional. We strive to meet each Elder where they are, and help them to reach their personal best in a dignified and respectful manner. The Linwood staff have a sincere desire to discharge our Elders home in better condition than when we received them. Personally, caring for our Elders is a labor of love. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

Positive experience: I called Linwood Meadows in regards to long term care. I spoke with admissions and the were very pleasant. They offered to give me a tour, however, I am from out of town. They directed me to their video on the website. I was pleased with the information they gave me.

Fantastic experience: What a great experience I had, from walking in I got such a great positive attitude from the front desk to the nursing staff all the way to the office and admission staff and even more help from the administrator. I couldn’t help but appreciate the help with my experience coming into a nursing home.

Fantastic experience: Linwood Meadows is a beautiful skilled nursing facility with a caring staff dedicated to providing dignified care. I have worked at Linwood since December of 2020 and am proud of the incredible employees and residents. I love to see the smiles on the residents faces who complete their rehabilitation and discharge home to their loved ones. Linwood's staff is well qualified and demonstrate hard work and love as they provide 24 hour care.

Fantastic experience: Since day one this facility has treated my parents with the upmost respect and all of the staff has been wonderful!!! They have a myriad of things for my mom to do and she has created lifelong friendships while she has been there! I would highly recommend this facility for anybody who is in need of a 24 hour nursing facility!!

Fantastic experience: "The grounds are well kept up. The garden statues bring back good childhood memories. I've always liked rose bushes. I like the janitors - they keep the place clean and are hard workers. The laundry crew is good. The activities are good. The food is good - the quiche I had for breakfast was good. I got to know the fellow residents and we got close to each other. I enjoyed the therapy team and I hate to leave them. I got to know the staff and social workers." - Juan

Fantastic experience: I have visited Linwood several times to evaluate patients. Upon entering Linwood I have been greeted by the most attentive and kind staff who gladly escort me to my destination. The garden at Linwood is impeccable! It’s heartwarming to see the patients visiting with their family and enjoying the nice weather. The facility is beautiful and clean. There are no offensive odor s, only good smells coming from the kitchen. The patients are involved in various activities and appear happy and content. My experience with the nurses have been positive. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and engaging with all their patients. I would not hesitate to recommend Linwood Meadows for anyone who needs short term or long term therapy/ nursing care.

Fantastic experience: You have to see the beautiful garden at Linwood Meadows, it's such a peaceful place for the residents to enjoy when the weather permits it.

You will not find a more dedicated group of professionals whether you need rehab, therapy, or restorative nursing, etc. Linwood Meadows will help your loved one heal. Are they perfect?
