Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Waco

Fantastic experience: This facility has such a different atmosphere. From the decor to the friendly staff it doesn’t feel like a nursing facility. This is a great place to rehab from an illness!

Fantastic experience: I currently work as a therapy tech at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hopsital of Waco, and from an employee perspective, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far in my position. I am still in my undergraduate program, so being at Encompass Waco allows me to discuss concepts and rehab methods with the therapists and nursing staff. Without fail, the therapists have responded positively and thoughtfully to any questions I have about the rehab process, and on several occassions have initiated the conversation to teach me something relevant to the treatment or exercise being performed. I could not imagine a more inviting and supportive entrance into the field of rehabilitation therapy, and I am so grateful to be a part of the Encompass Waco team.

Fantastic experience: This place is phenomenal! Dad actually really likes this place. They care about the patients and take the time needed individually. Other places send them home way too soon, we have experienced this. They are actually keeping him for a while as they noticed an issue not even related to what brought him in. So happy we found this place!

Positive experience: Facility is nice n clean. And ppl were nice. Smelled good . I edited location b/c we already passed it when it says it's on the right. We had to go and turn around and come back up.

Fantastic experience: My mother-in- law was at Encompass recently. The entire experience was incredible. The staff was attentive, caring and professional. The facilities are clean and cheerful. I highly recommend them!

Positive experience: My 88 year old mother was there a year ago. Wonderful experience. Last two weeks there has been ridiculous. Her room was set at 75, even during the last week winter storm. She had nothing but good things to say about the staff. She refuses to ever go there again.

Fantastic experience: Brought my dad to Encompass for rehab after horrible care from Providence Hospital (Dr. Lee). He just about killed my father of starvation telling us what a good life he lived. Encompass took my dad in and gave him the best treatment I have ever seen. Excellent Therapists, doctors, nurses and Techs. Very clean and state of the art equipment. All meals were exceptionally good and healthy. This place really cares about your loved ones. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Taking good care of my mom after hip replacement surgery

Fantastic experience: My 88 year old grandmother was here for a week and a half. She said all the staff were nice, the food was good and she loved the therapy she received. The staff had her back on her feet quickly. The building is beautiful with state-of-the-art equipment. The building is clean and smells good. I would recommend anyone that needs therapy young or old this is the place to go to get back on your feet.
